I never even knew such a product as this existed! I am so happy that I ordered this. I am a wine enthusiast and sometimes i purchase wines, and wait for a big occasion to open them so that i can taste them and finish the wine bottle with family or friends. But sometimes i dont like to wait for big occasions and would love to have just a glass at night and relax, not fearing for the entire, expensive, bottle, to spoil quickly or for it to be finished. With the Coravin i am now able to have a glass of whichever wine i want and whenever i want, and only as much as i want and i dont have to worry that i now have to finish the whole bottle.... With the coravin, that wine that i just tasted can last for many more months if not years. The technology in this is amazing! And i am really happy i have this. Excellent design, and looks amazing! It Works

I'm one of those people who sips wine using a shot glass once or twice a month. My wine usually last in my refrigerator for months. The last one I bought in 2017, took my first sip in November 2018 and just my last sip June of 2019. And this is a small bottle. And the last drop taste just like the first sip. This one has a plastic needle. Although the needle is made of hard plastic, If there's a need to replace it- I'll get the metal needle instead of this plastic one.

Differences between the Coravin models

This new Starry Night Limited Edition has a simple, refined look that goes well with almost any kitchen decor. I love the Coravin wine preservation system since it lets me enjoy a glass from an expensive bottle of wine without worrying about wasting the rest of the bottle. At first I thought this was complicated looking, but actually it is really simple. This works according to the same principle when the doctor refills a syringe from a larger medicine bottle where the needle pokes through a rubber stopper and injects the bottle with air to draw out the liquid. There are six different Coravin models, and they are identical mechanically except the difference is in the handle shape and appearance, and the Bluetooth electronics in the new Model Eleven. Model One -- A fresh modern look of white and blue. Model Two -- dark graphite finish. Model Two Elite -- available in red, gold, or silver. Model Two Elite Pro -- includes storage base and carry case. Limited Edition II (this one) -- similar to Model Two Elite, in premium collectible finish. Model Eleven -- automatic pour, Bluetooth, LED display, extra accessories. Four different replacement needles are available: Standard Needle -- the hollow needle included with Coravin systems. Premium Needle -- has hundreds of tiny holes that reduce cork fragments in the wine. Faster-Pour Needle -- wider needle for bottles with corks in good condition. Vintage Cork Needle -- thinner needles for bottles with a fragile cork.

Finally bought it—and it’s worth it

Been eyeing this product for a while and finally purchased on a sale. This is a very awesome product if you have expensive bottles of wine and you don’t plan on finishing the whole thing at one time. Used it multiple times and it works great. It’s a good looking tool as well to add to the kitchen. I also like that this model is metal since some are both plastic and metal.
