Great controller but eats up too many batteries

I've been playing with the Microsoft Wireless Controller- Sport White for a month. I play every day and have had zero problems with this controller. FYI: works with (original) xbox one console. Controller specs say to use AA batteries. Controller drains battery life so quickly that it costs a fortune to keep up. I am using rechargeable AA's instead. It seems to be working out.

Purchased used

I accidentally purchased used because I used a link from another page. That being said, it came in nearly perfect condition. I did notice a couple of dirt (?) specs on it, but they were easily removed with some rubbing alcohol. The controller works perfectly, and I love the grips on the back.

It’s so pretty

Microsoft makes the best controllers for their consoles. To get a rubber grip one for this price was a steal. If you have to chose between an off brand or this one. Spend the few extra bucks. That aqua color is super sick on the white too.

Modern looking and feels good

This controller looks almost futuristic and it looks just as good in person as it does in the pictures. The rubber grip feels good too. I can't comment on its durability as I've only had it for a few days but I would imagine it would be comparable to other xbox controllers. I don't have an xbox, I use the controller to play FIFA, fighting, and racing games on PC.

Nice Looking controller...

My son wanted this one out of all of the xbox controllers to choose from online, I even offered to get him an elite or for him to make his own custom one via Microsoft but he liked this one best for some reason. Hes 13 and so far been really rough on his controllers, this one is still in perfect shape as hes taking really good care of this one, hope it lasts a while those things are expensive.

Love it! Dope color, feels good, love the rubber grip

Absolutely wonderful!

1) Very convenient wireless connection, which is reliable! Pair once and forget! The laptop automatically picks up the controller as soon as I turn it on, no questions asked ;D 2) GRIPPPPP! PP! These rear rubber grips are just game changers for long plays, especially in sweaty 30+ laps Forza races. 3) Overall the ergonomics is just awesome! Comfortable to hold with hands, AND easy to reach all the control with fingers. Thank you Microsoft!

Improves upon Standard Controller by feel and appearance.

Minor adjustments make this controller a must have. It’s well balanced, a tad weightier and the textured grip is something they should have done ages ago. Colorway is subtle but nice. It’s so clean. For some reason, it reminds me of the snowy climax of Inception. Odd, I know. Seriously, best everyday controller you can get. I’ve been using my Project Scorpio controller for a year now. And the texturing on that controller is nice.

Controller worked wonderfully for me and didnt have a single problem, the rubber on the bottom feels amazing and the d pad has this metal plastic feeling thats wierd but really nice. Its a really nice controller that you must buy for yourself or for others!!!
