Fits Well and Really Blocks Out Light

It's easy to forget that it's a good idea to replace your eyemask every few months, they get build up and such on them and are hard to clean. It can be challenging to find an eye mask which fits well, is comfortable, and blocks out light near 100%. This one from Unimi was a clear step up from my last eye mask. It fits very comfortably and blocks out light much better than my last eyemask.

Enhanced Sleep!

Even my husband commented how he slept so much better with this eye mask. It is well made and keeps light out. He had to pull an overnighter thus, this was a real test for him. The velcro makes it easy to fit everyone. My son was visiting from another time zone and also used one and asked to keep it. I ordered extras for guests as we are in an apartment and there is some light that is always coming through the windows. The mask is raised at the eyes which makes it most comfortable. Highly Recommend!

Fantastic and comfortable.

I bought this one, and a different more expensive eye mask made of more natural fabric, at the same time to test both out. I ended up liking this one more. Pros: - I was very apprehensive about buying this (and others like it) because I've seen people in the reviews having issues with having the mask stain their bedlinens and pillows with use. This hasn't been the case with this mask in my own experience. I am a side-sleeper so this mask does end up rubbing against my (light turquoise) pillow all the time, and I haven't had any issues whatsoever. So that's great news. - It's very soft and comfortable. I get annoyed with how many masks feel around the nose bridge area, including the more expensive one I bought as mentioned earlier. This one doesn't bother me. The strap also doesn't dig into me or feel uncomfortable in any way. Just adjust it to your head size and you're good to go. No pressure on the eyes as indicated. - It blocks light-- hooray! I have massive windows in my apartment (including my bedroom) and it's blinding during the day. I can take a nap no problem with this on in the afternoons. - I didn't notice it slipping around or becoming lopsided enough to be a problem, and I toss and turn everywhere when I sleep. Cons: - If you're a side sleeper, because of the outer-beveled design being pressed against the pillow, there may be a tiny slit of light that peeks through the nose area. That's just what happens when stuff like this is bent that way. I find if I readjust it a little this goes away, and the slit of light is really only noticeable when you have your eyes open with the mask on. When I have my eyes closed the amount of light is so small that I do not see a difference whether it's there or not. - That's pretty much the only con I can think of. Great mask. I'm buying a spare, as I'm sure these will see frequent use!

LIghtweight and comfy

I've bought many eye masks locally. They were never comfortable. Didn't block the light. I took a chance and ordered this. I've only had it a week. It's been SUPER comfy! I just hope the elastic lasts. They all stretch out. Keeping my fingers crossed. I am very sensitive to light. It rained in my apt. I had to remove light blocking shades and towels I nailed over my blinds. The blinds let in so much light I can practically read. But this eye mask has been super useful!

Comfortable and blocks all light

A sleeping mask that works! Enough room for nose and eyes, and yet covers well so is a blackout. It's like being in a cave and no light. Very undisturbed sleep. This is what we want. The Velcro could be a little softer, so it wouldn't make noise on the pillow. I did do a flex job on the Velcro so it would be a bit more supple, and no noise. (Velcro is the best, though). Nice material and is a good sleeping assist. I do recommend this mask.

So far, excellent! [Updated] Still in once piece!

I bought this after having bought two other sleep masks which fell apart on me after a few weeks. When I got this sleep mask, it looked quite a bit sturdier than the ones I'd previously bought from other companies. Most notably, the parts look stitched together, not glued on. It's been ten days since I received this mask and so far it's held up well (and I'm a side/tummy sleeper and tend to smoosh the mask often). I may revisit this review in a month to report if it's still in one piece or not. If it doesn't fall apart, I plan on buying two to three more of these!!! One of my hesitations when buying this product was that it didn't have a nose baffle. My first sleeping mask (a Bucky) didn't have one and let in a peek of light. My second mask (an Earth Essentials) had a nose baffle and let in zero light as long as I had the band snug enough. Would this mask be like the Bucky? But no--the design they've come up with means there's not really anything pressing on my nose, and I can open my eyes without anything pressed against them, but the light is still completely blocked out. I'm really really happy so far with this product. If it continues to hold up, I will buy more. I hope they consider offering more beautiful colors and patterns! [Update] I purchased this November, 2018. It's now January 2019 (Happy New Year!) and despite nightly use, this product shows no signs of wear and tear. Therefore, I just purchased a pink one and plan to order more!

Comfortable, works great blocking light, good size adjust-ability

This is the first shaped eye shade I've bought and it is very comfortable, completely blocking light out. The size adjust-ability is good, I would says this probably fits small through large heads. My head is fairly 'medium' and the Velcro is about in the middle of its range. I am glad I bought this and would recommend it to others. I've heard something about fake's in the marketplace, the one I bought came in nice packaging, is well built and I believe is authentic.

As a light sleeper, starting to wear an eye mask 5 or so years ago legitimately changed my life. I've worn a few different ones in that time, and there are always a few weak points. Loose fit around the nose can let a ton of light in. If the eye cups are too flimsy, it can put pressure on your eyes. Headbands can be too loose or too tight (even those that can be adjusted via velcro). After a week of wearing this mask, it has none of those problems. I took it straight out of the pack and haven't adjusted a thing. The fit around the nose is great, the eye cups are rigid but still soft and not problematic. I'm a side sleeper and haven't noticed the mask slipping around at all. And for me, the headband has been good too. I plan on buying a few more of these to make sure I always have one.

Very comfortable and extremely effective.

I wear an eye mask every night to sleep and have done so for many, many years. As such, I have tried all sorts, including very expensive 40.00 TempurPedic ones. This is probably the most effective I've found at blocking light. It's the shape (specifically the depth of the nose groove) that seems to make it so effective. Add to that, it's also very lightweight and comfortable. The one drawback is that it's not very durable. After only a few weeks of use, there is peeling of the layers of fabric. I am not docking a star because the price is so low that I still consider this a 5 star value. But you should definitely be aware.

YOU NEED TO BUY THIS!

First off, I'd like to start out by saying that most of my Amazon purchases are based on user reviews...in fact, I rely heavily on the feedback from previous customers when deciding what to buy! After a skunking incident ruined my last sleep eye mask (long story...), I needed another one quick. I'M SO HAPPY I PURCHASED THIS MASK! It is FAR superior to my last eye mask as it let's in ZERO light, which is great because I am also a regular migraine sufferer which means that any light that leaks through the eye mask can worsen symptoms. I'm actually buying another one as a back up just in case they stop selling these. For the price point ($5), the comfort, the contoured nose and the darkness, you can't beat this product. You can also open your eyes while wearing it, so there's no contact or "heaviness" of the mask resting on your eyelids. I am thrilled with this product and would give it 10 stars if that were an option. BUY THIS!
