Power cord count down timer
most power control timers require one to set a start time and a stop time to control the length of time power is applied to a device, such as a battery charger. This complication is eliminated with a count down timer. Just set the time. Power is applied to the device. Power is shut off when timer has timed out. Offers a wide range of time settings suitable for most power application needs. Prevents overcharging batteries, often done when a battery is charged over-night.

Does what it's supposed to do. Very convenient.
I needed to be able to easily run something frequently for 30 minutes at a time or so. While I already have timer circuits, most require you to go through quite a few button presses to essentially "program" it to run for a given time period. That's where this baby comes in. You just press a button for the amount of time you want it to run and it does it. That's it. No messing with clocks or programming to do what should be a really simple task. If I had to look for somewhere it could improve, it wouldn't hurt if it had a three prong plug. Many three-pronged devices probably have higher power requirements than you can safely use with this, so that may be the biggest reason they left it out, but these days more and more devices that use surprisingly little energy are coming with three prong plugs. (And yes, you can use an adapter, but this is generally unsafe unless you connect the ground connector on the adapter to a ground -- which you can't easily do with something like this at all.) It does make the whole thing smaller to use only two prongs though, so this is not entirely a con either and none of the stuff I need to use with this have three prongs anyway.

Simple timer that works well
So I have been somewhat convinced that I should limit my overnight phone charging to 80% to prolong battery life. Since I have to set the appropriate time every night to get to around 80%, I wanted something blindingly simple, and this timer met that requirement and has worked very well for my purpose. The "+" button allows great flexibility and sufficient granularity to meet my need. Good product.

Pretty handy little automatic times!
Been using similar ones for many years and the style changed a little but basically the same product. We purchased several more of these for our growing business to stop our devices from overcharging. I don't care what they say, our phone batteries last longer if you don't leave them on charge all night. We also use them to turn off the charge on our Dewalt battery chargers after they have charged for a couple hours. This helps preserve the batteries, the chargers and gives us peace of mind that there won't be any fires sparking due to faulty chargers after we leave the shop. We did receive one that didn't work last time we ordered several but for the most part they seem to be a fairly decent product so far. Well worth the $$.

Very good function!
Very nice to be able to add up all times for a total of 7 hours 45 minutes. This timer is much more "time customize-able" than other similar timers. It's ETL Listing rating is as good as/the same as a UL Listing. At the time I ordered this timer, I also ordered a "BN-LINK Smart Digital Countdown Timer with Repeat Function" timer. This one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01D3QEK4E/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The BN-LINK timer arrived DOA! Yes, the BN-LINK timer has a ground, but if I ever run into a situation where I have a grounded plug, I'll use an adapter to "get rid" of the ground.

Awesome devices. Did exactly what I wanted.
I used these to run outdoor power equipment battery chargers. The battery chargers for those say not to leave the chargers plugged in after the batteries are charged. After I finish using the batter, I put them on the charger and press 1 hour and walk away. If it was a light usage, maybe just 30 minutes. They're fully charged the next week (or two) when I need them again but were not left on for days.

Very similar to a discontinued Stanley timer I had
This timer works fine and is easy to use. The buttons light up clearly when you make your selection. I used these to keep from overcharging electronics. No problems.

Works like a champ
After having been disappointed with similar products by other vendors, I am very grateful to say that this one is a winner. I use the specific time capability daily, and it has always cutoff when I go to check on it. Thank you

Works as advertised
Works as advertised. I use it to control a fan for drying dishes. They dry fast and the fan turns on with one button and turns itself off.

Great For Charging My Phone
This was a great way to limit the time my phone is on the charger. It is easy to set and seems quite accurate. I consider it a good deal,
