Great for vloggers

My family just started making videos for Youtube, and this software is a big help! We've been making some crafting project videos, and instructional videos, and had trouble using several other programs. This one works easily! Penty of features for voiceovers, adding music, and special effects. So easy!

Nice Software

For beginner starting to learn videography and make DVD if family video this is where I would start.

Good, intuitive editor

I got this (and the ultimate version) for my daughter since she's into video editing. While it did not have the plugins that she wanted we did find out that it came with a large number of filters, effects, transitions. The ultimate version has additional effects and such but even this basic version has more than enough of those. The window layout if fairly typical for a video editor so it was easy to get started with it. We have not rendered long videos so we can't say much about its performance for that but, for the clips that we worked on, it seemed reasonably fast for the task and the PC that we have. Given all the options that it provides I think that most amateur video editors will be satisfied with this program.
