OK, there isn't much for these to do other than go in your flash hot shoe and they do that. I never cared with my Canon cameras, but with the different connecters in the Sony hot shoe I make sure this is always in place when I'm not using a flash AND I tend to loose them, so this does what I need it to do.

The hot shoe covers work as expected. It never hurts to have a few extra.

Great fit A7RII and A7II

Since the hotshoe is a weak point and where water can ingress I try to keep it covered when not using a trigger. It happens you loose the OEM hotshoe covers and find yourself always buying one or two at the camera store when you remember for spares since I tend to loose them in the field a lot. I got 5 for the price I would pay for a OEM one and the aftermarket ones fit my two bodies just as the OEM does. Great product.

I was struggling with the exposed hotshoe for a long time. Then I got the great idea to search on Amazon and I found these Perfect!

Sony a6300 works well

I lost my original Sony one and was longing for a replacement because of the connectors on the Sony hotshot should not be exposed. I found this pack of 5 which was about the price for on Sony OEM one and now I have extras just in case I lose another one.

There aren't many things I lose, but this thing is one of them. Pleased to be able to pick up a pile of them for so cheap. They fit and hold fine in my sony a7riii. There are a lot of small contacts in the hot shoe, so I feel like it is worth the effort to keep it clean and protected. I am sure I will lose all these and be back for more...

Good and cheap shoe covers

These were the cheapest covers I found and they fit well. The first one is still on my camera after using it on vacation where the shoe would have come into contact with water mist.
