Outstanding sound quality.

I purchased this unit to replace the built-in sound card in my desktop computer which finally stopped working; I use it exclusively as a pre-amp for a condenser-type stereo microphone from AudioTecnica in professional voice recording; it is a bit an overkill since the unit is capable of much more in the multi channel sound reproduction. I will have a chance to review these additional features later on as need it. Highly recommended!

Works with WIN 10!

Recognized when plugged in. Works perfectly using windows setup sound options! If you have a microphone available, you can even use the automatic calibration feature and end up with a well balanced sound at your listening point. Strongly recommended if you have a PC with Stereo out only and a surround sound or multi-speaker system!

Effortless install, works perfectly on Windows 10

I am a professional video editor and producer. My main editing platform is a high-end Dell PC with a Realtek-based 5.1 sound card. After the last Windows update (I lost track of which version #), the card would no loner operate in 5.1 mode. I actually bought this card to add an optical audio input to my laptop, but just for the heck of it, I connected it to my desktop. It works perfectly in both stereo and 5.1 surround modes. I wish I had discovered this product sooner, since it would have saved me hours and hours of fighting with the drivers for the Realtek device. Now I need another one! Highly recommended.

Easy to use

Finally got to use this device, plugs into a USB port, splits the sound into 7.1 channel. You will need external amps to hear sound.

Works perfectly straight out of the box! True plug’n’play...no drivers necessary. Windows 10 automatically detected this sound card upon connecting it to my PC. In the settings, you can choose from 3.1 up to 7.1 surround. I used this as a secondary sound card for my sim rig when using my transducers. The buttons have a very solid click when pressed. Doesn’t feel cheap at all. It comes with a usb cable and driver cd. Excellent product!
