This is simply one of the best investments I have made for a product on Amazon. It has high quality attachments for both home and vehicle use. The product is well insulated when my vehicle is turned off. And, when I plug it in overnight to my powerpack, it manages energy so well that I can leave it in my car for days. The compressor turns off when optional temperature is achieved. It uses less power than the much inferior 'cooling boxes'. And, if you want to freeze something or keep you drinks ice cold, this product will do it, unlike the cheaper "cooling boxes" that will only keep your drinks 'cool' and/or at room temperature depending on how warm it is in your car. Hell, I froze my drinks once and they exploded. I just want to see how cold this thing would get. As an investigator that spends most of his life in a vehicle, you cannot beat this product.

It durable

Excellent product are very durable . It very cold -18 degrees . The freezer is on the floor in the sleeper behind the passenger seat . This is a Really good product for over the road drivers

Amperage

I was concerned with how much power it would use, mine uses point 3 volts from a 50amp lithium iron battery over nite most nites the solar controller shows 100% in the morning one nite it was at 90% (85 when the sun goes down 65 in the morning before the sun comes up) those numbers were pretty consistent. Been plugged in for 3 weeks and I haven't had any problems yet.

Wonderful unit, quiet, freezes well easy to transport.

Received this cooler yesterday and let it sit for 12 hours as recommended. Got it rolling last night and hooked it up to my rockpals 300 Power station. Got the freezer settings working very well And had a bunch of things frozen solid by morning. I did find that the AC connections provided works better than the DC. The AC seems to allow the power station to power the cooler a lot longer than the DC. Since I only intend to use this cooler during a hurricane with my rockpals Power stations I could only speak for the AC power sources which would not be a wall source but a power station. Not to be confusing but these power stations deliver power Via AC or DC connections, You just have to have the appropriate wires which this cooler came with. This cooler freezer appears to have been made well and it’s relatively easy to carry and is attractive. The door seals very well End it is quiet. I am very happy with this unit so far but if you are going to use it at home when the power goes Out you will have to power it in your car or have an independent power station that has been previously charged , These units have no batteries themselves they need to be hooked up to a battery source. Which powers them but does not charge them. Like I said all I love this little guy so far it is just what I wanted. Also I don’t want to sound like I’m doing a commercial for rockpals Powerstations it just happens to be the one I have, there are several other companies that make these power stations also.

Ice Cream, Beer & Chocolate on my boat:))

I bought this to keep Ice Cream ready-to-eat within arms reach when i am sitting in the cockpit of my boat. I could not be happier. I love it. My guests love it. It works perfectly! Temperature control is simply perfect. And it looks great too.

The refrigerator/freezer is and works fantastic. Have tested it for 2 weeks on AC current and 2 more weeks on battery power. We use it to coexist with our RV freezer/refrigerator. Lots of testing and NO Worries. The price is VERY good compared to other lesser brands. Can't believe 'how well' it works. Very good quality too. I will buy another.

Calibrate the temp

Is a good cooker so far, i will update on ot later on. Ive only had it on for 2 days. I think the temperature is a little off bit it is consistent. If i want 34 degrees i set it at 29 degrees

Works great! Perfect for trips in the boat. I think I am going to get a little bigger one too.

I love this, my boat does not have a refer on it and the space is small works perfect. We will stay out on the water for 5 days and run engines little here and there works perfect.

Great buy!

So far, this freezer has worked very well as a full-time freezer. I have already traveled with it to keep my dogs’ food frozen on a week-long road trip, and has already been a great buy. I hope it will survive my next trip in about a year. I will write an update with the verdict when the time comes.

Quiet and efficient

Well I read all the reviews before I purchased one... mine arrived quickly, I followed the start up directions and connected it to my Jackery 500 battery and 80 watt solar panel. The cooler is amazingly quiet, I set the temp for 18° and after awhile the temp inside hovered around 20°-24°...so yes the thermostat is a little off but jeez you can just set it about 5° lower than what you want. It will freeze water but takes all day, however I’m using it too it keep steaks and hamburger and eggs and cheese, chicken and milk and bacon ice cold without worrying about water logging. This cooler is fabulous for keeping these things cold. Inside temp was set at 34 and the Jackery never got down past 60% battery life and that’s with an electric blanket running all night on low as well. During the day my Jackery battery charged up to 100% before afternoon arrived. I kept the solar panel attached all the time, the cooler chest only stays on for about 15 minutes every 45 minutes on Max cool. Even on cloudy days it charged up to 100% and I never felt nervous about running out of battery power...I could always plug it into the boat and not worry about low voltage drain because there are three settings on the ice chest to prevent battery damage due to low voltage. The meat and chicken were ice cold, I put the chicken in frozen and after two days it was still a little bit frozen to the point I had to let it thaw a while before we cooked it. I was able to put a dozen eggs, four chicken breasts, 4 t-bones, Two packages of bacon and two sticks of butter and two small cartons of milk and three packages of cheese and 2 pounds of hamburger with a little bit of room to spare but not much.This thing is extremely quiet and very efficient and really does keep things very cold, I bought the insulated jacket to go around it as well. It’s not a huge ice chest it’s only 20 quarts but I don’t have to worry about buying ice and having everything get water longed, it’s a wonderful ice chest and you will not be disappointed. I was not paid for this renew or reimbursed in anyway.
