Robust 32GB USB flash drive

Ordered these for my cars built-in Garmin Navigation system, which only accepts 32GB drives. Formatted to FAT32 without any issues and I was able to successfully upgrade my maps. Build quality appears solid. The cap covering the USB port slides back so there is no worry about losing the cap.

Works great

I liked the look of the drive when I unwrapped it - it appears heavy duty, and the cover slides easily. My computer had no problem recognizing it. I scanned it prior to use and it was clean, so I used it to update Windows 10 on my netbook. Works great. Runs warm (but not hot).

Price and quailty

It is a well-made product. Excellent pricing and just what I need for all my files. I would recommend this product.

Just like expected

For the price, I expected this product to do a decent job. As you can see, the read speed is around 34 MB/s and write speed of 24 MB/s. I love that it is capless! The material feels "premium". I have not tested it with water, and I do not think anyone should on purpose, but based on its texture, I do believe that it would be resistant to water. As far as it being waterproof, well, let's just keep it out of water. Initially, I was disappointed in this USB because my computer would not "detect" it in the port. I am very tech-savvy, so I assumed it was because of drivers. It turns out, there is thing called SAM policy that was preventing me from using it. For those who have this issue, search "CMD". Type "Diskpart". Type "Select disk 1" (it typically is 1; select the number that corresponds to your space). And now type "attributes disk clear readonly" followed by "disk online". That should fix it. Cheers!

Love that you can't lose the cover!

I bought this to load with photos for a digital photo frame as a family Christmas gift - and as the capacity is huge, it will take hours and hours before you see any repetitions, which is great. The item seems pretty robust, and the cover just slides over the top end to protect it, so no worries about it falling off / losing it.

USB drive that is very durable

I have many USB drives. The normal determining factors in purchasing a USB drive are cost and size. However, there are two other very important factors. One is durability. I've had several drives where the USB connection fell apart and wouldn't work anymore and had others where the USB connection to the main board became loose and quit working. This USB drive is meaty. It appears to be very well made and has a protective slide that can handle a lot of wear and tear. The other factor is speed. USB 3 is speedy! I timed copying a 1.5 GB PDF file to 2 USB drives, this one took 56 seconds. The older USB drive took 3 minutes and 55 seconds for the same file copy. I timed each one twice to verify.

The cover slides backwards.

Came ok. Looks VERY sturdy. I immediately uploaded to it, nine gigs of files, very fast. The only slight downside, be aware of this, that I thought that there was a cap on the end or that the plugin end was bare. Too large to use. I discovered that the plugin end cover has to be slid backwards to uncover the usb plug. This is one usb stick that might laugh at being dropped onto the floor! Very good! Freestone wilson
