Large Magnification, Great Illumination,

Good led lighitng. My first try I was not pleased, but I found I was holding the magnifier two close to the item, and put my eyes to close also. When I moved the magnifier back, and I moved away from the magnifier, I was able to see tiny items much easier. Today I had an instruction manual which used a very small font. I could only read the headline, the text was not legible. You can see the magnification from the 2nd photo. Now that I have learned to use this, I keep it on my desk.

Magnifies 30x

I have several magnifying glasses but this magnifying glass not only is illuminated but it magnifies 30x - one of the strongest that I've ever had. It is battery operated. Very useful for reading small print and other tasks that require close-up viewing.

Great Glass

Glass is well made & lights are very bright . Very helpful when reading fine print in newspapers & books ( footnotes ) . The glass is a bit heavy , perhaps a skeleton handle would reduce weight . Overall a great value .

Perfect for splinter removing, and small print instructions!!

I bought this as a Christmas gift to my husband. At first he looked disappointed ...... until he needed it! He had a deep splinter in his hand, and found that using a lit magnifying glass was exactly what we needed. Since then, I've used it for instructions, recipes, etc ..... It ended up being my husbands' favorite gift. Since we keep it on my desk, I use it more than he does! No regrets here! This lit magnifying glass is perfect!

Wonderful

I've been looking for something like this for years. I don't know if my failure to find such a powerful magnifying lens has been my fault, or if such lenses have only recently become available, but this is what I've been searching for. Is it a 30 power lens? I don't know, but it's as powerful as I have hoped for, and as powerful as I need. Furthermore, it's magnification is for the entire 3"+ lens, not for a tiny sub-lens. Too heavy? What a silly comment. The only thing about it that might be too much--not for me-- is the lighting system. It uses two AA batteries to produce more light than is really needed, but I'm not complaining. Everything considered, it's just what I needed. The only thing that puzzles me is that there are several other 30-power magnifying glasses for sale here. They might even be better, but I'm not going to investigate. I'm just wondering where all of these lenses have been all these years. Have I been blind?

Great magnifying glass

I really like this magnifying glass. Light weight and covers enough area (lighted) to be able to see more that some others I have used.

Works great for my mom with failing eyesight

I got this for my mom who has glaucoma and macular degeneration. Her vision is very poor and she needs lots of light to see. She uses this magnifier and light to read the small print on her prescription bottles. She was thrilled to finally have something that make the writing big enough! the 30X and bright LEDS were essential for her.

A robust strong well lit magnifying lens. It's a little heavy but that's only because of the high quality glass that's in this magnifying lens. I find the LEDs light up my product very nicely when I'm looking at it through the magnifying lens and the device has replaced my old magnifying lens without a light. Easy on the eyes and everything that you want!

Works As Advertised

This magnifying glass with LED lights all around works just as discribed. It greatly magnifies small print. You have to supply the two AA batteries if you want it to light up your printed material. It is easy to insert your batteries. I find it very useful for reading fine print on products and coupons. It is on the heavy side but that is because it is a very strong magnification. I love it!

Magnifying Glass with Light

As someone who needs readers because font on everything these days is size 8, this gadget it fantastic! I often have to read tiny key codes to have keys made, etc. and this is a perfect tool. Highly recommend.
