Ha sido una muy buena compra,no me puedo quejar, el producto me llegó en fecha. Lo he estado usando un par de días y ha respondido a mis espectativas. Lo compre para ver películas y reproduce correctamente las que he puesto para ver, que por cierto son dvd's. Gracias.

Good product, excellent customer service

I recently purchased a MacBook Air and realized I needed to buy an external CD/DVD drive. I also tested out a CD which played fine. but can say I'm actually really pleased with it. I have it connected to my new iMac via thunderbolt. It is very fast, smooth and silent. Thus far I've used it to load some music software loops, copy a CD and burn a playlist. As far as I can see it functions as it should, although I haven't played a DVD on it I have no reason to believe it won't work. A couple of things to note: it has no USB ports, the (very short) USB lead is physically connected to the player. Also, discs cannot be ejected using the only button on the player - which will eject the tray when it is empty. However ejecting a disc is easy: simply click on the disc icon on the desktop. It is therefore worth remembering that the player must be connected and powered before any media can be retrieved. In conclusion: if you're looking for a slim disc reader/burner that works fast and runs silently then this is for you. I am very pleased with its functionality. It also looks good under my Mac... I'm not sure to what extent it's operating speed is determined by the processor speed of the computer it is connected to, so I should mention that it is super fast - for me - but that may be due to the iMac having an i7 processor and and thunderbolt ports. It is made of sturdy material and looks far more expensive than the price. I am more than satisfied with my purchase.I'd recommend it to anyone in need of an external DVD burner for any USB application PC or Mac.

Love this gizmo! My old DVD-player died. I hadn't used it all that much of late, but still: time took its toll. And even though I view/stream most movies/music online now, I still have tons of old-school discs. So I needed a replacement unit, but wanted something new, affordable, and stylish (My current keyboard is colorful. I grew tired of black-white-brushed aluminum computer components). Plus I wanted to be able to eject CDs/DVDs if something mucked up. This unit meets all those criteria (having an ejection button, too). Atop all that, it arrived promptly. Couldn't be happier.

I just received this today and it works like a charm! My new laptop doesn't have a CD drive so I bought this. It connected easily through my USB drive and loaded everything so quickly! I highly recommend this product. Great quality for the price.

GREAT VALUE & PERFORMANCE!

I needed this external drive to transfer LOTS of old geneology records & photographs from my Microsoft laptop to my Aunt's Apple laptop. This drive (paired with the appropriate CD's) was a lifesaver! I had it shipped to my Aunt's house, i received it the next day, and we were quickly able to exchange hundreds of photos. The size is perfect to fit in my laptop's travel bag, so it's very portable. I just protected it while flying by storing it in the original box. My only suggestion is the directions included in the drive are somewhat vague, so improvement is needed there. But otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

This came in time

I would like to say that this came in time for what I needed it for. it was so easy to use and it was exactly as advertised. I have had no issues with it just plug and play. I am a very satisfied customer. I have not tried to burn on it yet. However, it has shown no sign that is will have any problems with it.
