I had no glare from IR lights, which was a concern of a previous reviewer. These also work perfectly with Lynx indoor cameras if you remove the little bracket used to mount them. Much better than Wyze because they come with 7 days free cloud recording without the cool down phase between each recording. I am ordering another 3 pack for my Lynx cameras :)

This hard cover for Wyze Cam v2 allows camera to be mounted outside or on walls or ceiling with screws. Still hear voices clearly. Excellent product.

These enclosures with swivel mount are well-engineered as they appear to have been specifically made for a particular security cam v1 and v2 (not the Pan). By the title in the description, I would not know what to call them; So I will refer to them as a wyzecase. Because they were engineered well, there isn't much to them. This helps keep the price down while providing function (a major factor considering this is an accessory for a $25 security cam). The cams fit nicely between 4 pins, which also serve as binding posts to secure the back and front halves of the case. The four included screws are particularly small, almost "fiddly", more of a minor inconvenience than a major issue (a screwdriver is included). If the cam needs to be reset or the micro SD card needs to be removed, the enclosure needs to be disassembled to do so (inital setup must be done prior to placing in wyzecase). This is not a design flaw, though; but instead directly relates to how the camera was designed with access under the built-in swivel base. The front of the case is open, which is necessary to avoid reflecting the IR light during night vision back into the camera. There is no restriction in the field of view, meaning no part of the case is recorded or obstructs the lens. The camera still records audio like a potato--no discernible difference when in or out of the case. The opening in the back for the micro USB is deep and has a contoured rib over it to assist defecting water away from the opening (a u-shaped loop, lower than the cam hole will keep water from "feeding" into the case). There is also a large open slot in the lowest part of the case to allow drainage if ingress occurs. The overall integrity of the structure is sound after secured, and can be easily maneuvered to attain optimal angle. I do not know what material was used or how well it will endure Florida heat or UV, but it feels particularly rigid--at least in the 40-70F range. The only metal I noted were the four tiny screws to join the front/back halves of the case, a metal stem for the swivel, and the 3 screws to mount the swivel base. Considering the cams are about $25 now, these are a good deal simply for the convenience if mounting outside is your intention. I did have to contemplate the price, and I'm glad I pulled the trigger on these. If they were much more, I would probably consider other options. Until the outdoor cam is introduced, these wyzecases afford an indoor-intended cam some protection from the elements while also providing a mounting system more secure than the double-back tape or magnet provided with the cam. Overall, I like these and feel they are a good purchase--they work well at a reasonable price.

My wife and are very happy with the Wize Cams so far. I found them very easy to setup and the picture is very good for a camera at this price range. I love the two way audio which I really didn't expect to get at this price point. I can't wait for the company to release an outdoor version of these fine cameras. These are a steal at this price point, buy them and you won't be disappointed. My sister bought the Arlo system and hasn't installed it yet and after my recommendation she is going to return it and go with these. I am going to order one of the pan tilt cameras as well to keep an eye on my wife as she will be going through cancer treatment soon and the two way audio will allow her to contact me without have to reach for her phone, and I can pop up the live feed to check in on her while I'm at work. Do add the 32gb memory chips so you can record more than what the cloud based system holds.

My son wanted these for the cameras he purchased from this company because he was so please with the cameras. His birthday is a week before Christmas, and it is unusual for him to come up with something he wants, but this time he let me buy these for him. I usually end up giving him money because he doesn't usually give me time to buy things he wants before he buys them himself. But since these cameras were so great, he bought more of them so he could put some outside. We inherited my mother's house, and someone kicked down the door, even with an alarm system. We want to catch them on camera. They keep coming back, but we also added motion sensitive light bulbs, which they didn't seem to know. The combination of lighted areas and the cameras should make for better pictures. We put them in the windows for the time being and they work great, but my son wants to add some more cameras under the carport and under the front porch roof. They will be under the roof, so I think they will be fine. They would probably be fine outside with this protection.

I bought 4 of these outdoor camera mount/cases. (1 single pack and 1 three pack) After using them, I can confidently say they work great. they have protected my Wyze Cams in many downpours where the rain was directly on the cameras. I have had no problems with them at all. They were also easy to install. when I buy more Wyze Cams I will be getting more of these.

We bought the 3-pack of the camera mounts, which came tightly but securely packed in a surprisingly small box. The mounts are clean and functional, lightweight, and for together perfectly. Installation was a snap - the camera fits snugly in the 2-piece case, with a small bulge in back for the cable to loop down and out a slit in the bottom. 4 tiny screws hold the case together, and 3 large screws mount the case to the wall, either into wood or (with the anchors provided) wallboard. A finger-tightened nut over the swivel allows the camera's angle to be adjusted until you see exactly what you want. Couldn't have been any easier, and we're quite delighted with our low-cost app-accessible video coverage of our 3 exterior doors. Recommended!

Buen producto, fácil de instalar, buenos materiales, queda bien firme, pero no estoy seguro que sea 100% contra agua, tiene varias aberturas, por seguridad las tapé con silicon.

They are very sturdy. I am using them in an outside location where rain can hit them. I did use silicone around the micro USB area and applied to where two pieces screw together. Dont think I needed to, but now I know the camera is well protected. Mount is good quality also.
