Good quality and comes with battery

I wanted to get this to measure my Neighbors when they blast their music. The decibel meter definitely works! Super easy to work and comes with a battery.

Works great, well made, would buy again

Works great. Bought this to check mine and friends cars due to the new exhaust law in California. Well worth 20$ to give you the heads up to see what bd your car is at. A 1000$ none correctable ticket sucks.

I bought this to test the 3D printer motor noise and realized that is works well and I really like the large number on the display with the back light. I didn't need a built in flash light and probably would have preferred something else in lieu like memory storage. Also, if you have it set on minimum or maximum it will stop only at the lowest or highest sound which is fine but I would have preferred to have a way for it to register each and let you retrieve it by pushing the button as well so you can watch other sound levels during the peak or minimum decibel readings. I can only expect so much for the price and the build quality is very rugged feeling and the side grips are rubberized which is a nice touch. One last thing to do if you buy one ... take the wind sock off and see if the microphone protector is screwed down tightly otherwise you may pickup sounds just from moving the unit back and fourth from the protectors loose threading. This is not a deal breaker but mine was loose so I finger snugged it. No biggie. If this helped please give it a thumbs up.

Easy to read screen and lightweight. I use it for measuring loud noises around the shop when using hammers and air tools to let others know when to use hearing protection

nice design

Received this the next day fast shipping. I like the included wind guard, where I used this near the ocean I can still get a pretty relevant reading. The min/Max function is really good where I can leave the unit and come back at a later time to retrieve the reading.

Works

It tells me how loud noises are. I am not sure how accurate it is, but it is within a few dB of the app I have on my phone for measuring noises, so I think that's a good sign.

It’s a good size but it’s not very smooth it’s was kinda cheep

There was nothing that I don’t like with this device it’s comfortable to hold easy to read the numbers.

Worked as expected

It worked out of the box, battery was included. It was the cheapest, but it meet our needs. We use it to get a consistent sound level at church.
