Great optics!!!
Especially for the price. Have been shopping around for a quality scope at an affordable price and after talking to some REAL shooters (ie SWAT snipers) they strongly recommended Vortex as a great, affordable scope. I have been very happy with it so far. Easy to dial in. Only complaint is that the crosshairs are extremely fine and hard to see at lower magnification but I believe that is simply due to it being FF plane scope. Otherwise, completely happy with it and the seller. Great price and excellent service.

Better than expected!
I had serious doubts about the quality of this scope given the price point, but it surpassed my expectations. The thing that worried me was that their wasn't very much parallax adjustment past 300 yards. In fact none. I went to our spot and dialed in a target at 347 yards. The adjustment was already out to infinity at this short distance. The picture was clear and crisp. Went to 400, 600 and then 850 yards. Still a clear picture on infinity setting. Glass was clear to the edges, big eye box. Even bobbing my head gave no parallax deviations. Tracked perfectly and returns to zero, spot on! Turrets are not mushy like others have said. They are just close ratioed, but concise feelable clicks. Using the Burris XTR Signature rings with 20 MOA inserts added gives me plenty of adjustment to go out beyond the 1000 yard mark. Not worried about not having a zero stop as one full revolution (15 MOA) gets you already out past 600 yards, so doubt you will get confused as to where you are at. Buy once, cry once! This scope is as good as or better than competing scopes costing up to twice the price.

Fantastic FFP scope in the sub $400 range!
Fantastic scope in this price range. Slightly better glass quality compared to my Athlon that was similarly priced, and although this has a few less features it feels very solid, great turrets and clarity. I love this scope on my Ruger Precision Rimfire. Absolutely love it.

Great scope for the cost and features
Great scope for the cost and features. Put the scope on a ruger American 6.5 predator was able to get the scope dialed in fast and can hit a metal gong at 500 yards with ease. The turrents also stay tight and don't move on you.

Best exposed turret adjustable magnifcation scope for the money.
Great scope. Holds zero and ran it through clicks at 100 yards and it's change in point of impact was prefect. Additionally I ran through the full range of adjustment and the scope had a few extra MOA on both drop and windage. Clarity is good but I wouldn't say prefect especially past 8 magnification once it nears dusk. In terms of build strength is really is fantastic. I used it for a 5 day advanced marksmanship course where multiple other users had their scopes break and many of us got our scopes slightly scratched but this scope came out as good as new and I abuse my equipment especially when it has a warranty like vortex. The biggest annoyance on this scope for me was that the hashmarks for both turrets didn't line up perfectly on zero. Finally I reccomened rings that have a slim profile or you won't be able to see what your turret is set to. Update 1/31/18 I returned the scope due to the fact the vertical hashmarks on the turret consistently didn't line up. I saw multiple videos online on how to fix this however I am not going to fix a product that should have arrived without issues as basic as this. Additionally at further ranges, 600+ yards, not having a consistent measurement for vertical adjustment became a serious issue. Finally I want to note that while the glass was great, the eye relief, "eye box" and light gathering at dawn/dusk were not what I needed. In a profession where you must engage the target and consistently hold sub MOA regardless of the conditions this scope failed to do the job. As a scope for basic training and everyday use it far exceeded my expectations. Ultimately it failed to meet the demands of more extreme situations though. For the money you will be hard pressed to beat it. However, if you expect this scope to be reliable enough to bet lifes on then this is not the scope for you.

Excellence meets value.
Beautiful piece of glass. Most are intimidated by 6-24 but it is such a good range of zoom. The parallax settings were spot on and the reticle is very eye friendly. Not to long for most rifles even with sun shade. The eye relief is more than adequate to prevent scope bite. Very happy there is finally a high quality FFP scope out there at a budget rifle price point.

Great optic for the price
Very happy overall. Mounted to a rem 700 with magpul stock and vortex medium tactical rings. Had great groupings at 100 and 200. One drawback is at around 550 yards you begin to get mirage, but I used it successfully at 680 yards.

Good glass
This is a nice scope, its very crisp and clear. Even zoomed in to 12 power its nice and clear. The turrets are nice and have a good audible click. It doesnt have zero stops but can be reindexed to zero and has revolution marks. I think 400 yards is probably pushing it for this scope. I havent used it past 200 yet but im thinking 400 tops. Im happy with it, maybe when i feel like i can shoot good enough ill upgrade it to something bigger. For 300 bucks though, cant beat it. Lifetime warranty, nuff said.

High Quality Scope that HOLDS A ZERO
Starting from the outside, scope is of sturdy build and turrets are well mounted and tight when twisted, while also being strong enough to not be twisted by bumping into things or moving around in a case. Using the magnification is very easy and it maintains clarity through 4-15x magnification. At 16x you will experience a dip in clarity but this is to be expected with any scope when maxed out, and even then it will still beat any stock or budget aftermarket scope you could find. The reticule is extremely crisp and defined, even so much so that at at 4x magnification it is hard to see the numbers on the hold over and wind correction marks. This is mainly becasue it is a first focal plane scope so the reticle zooms in when you zoom in, meaning it's outstanding and HD when you start to use higher magnifications rather than too large and in the way. Secondly is the fact that when I zeroed this scope and store it in a soft cover it retains it's zero to this day. I drove all the way from Texas to Wyoming, switching it between vehicles multiple times, mounting it on ATV's, riding back country trials up in the Big Horn National Forrest on the side of Cloud Peak, and it never bumped off its zero even after a solid week of that. If you are looking for a high quality scope that doesn't break the bank this is it.
