We just love our Frogg Toggs. They came on recommendation to us for a trip to Alaska. Turns out we didn't need them there, but sure used the heck out of them when we returned to Texas where it was non-stop raining. Here's what I love: - Waterproof. This material will blow your mind. It's an odd combo of something you'd find at a doctor's office, and those little neck drape things they give you at the dentist. Oddly waterproof, but totally functional. - Breathable and movable. You aren't constrained in these, and you don't feel like you're wearing rain gear. The pants and jacket both move freely, and I'd often much rather throw this on than throw on my expensive North Face shell! - Packable. These crunch down so small that we just jam them in a kids subway lunch bag (similar material). We throw them in the back of the car, and leave them there for when we need them. - Pricing. Could the pricing be more fabulous?!? - Durable. My husband works at an airport for FedEx. All the guys working outside, buy Frogg Toggs and wear them anytime the weather dictates. They are handy, durable, and fit right in their assigned storage space. Here's what I don't love: - Sizing runs large. My husband is traditionally a large and we ordered him a medium, and they fit well. Same for me. Kids sizes are all wonky. The smallest size they make, will not fit your 2 - 6 year old. Unless your kiddo is abnormally large. I sure hope Frogg Toggs makes a smaller size. If you search ebay you might be lucky enough to find a size 2, which is an old size they used to make. But they are rare, even though they are the perfect size for the small kids. - Pockets. Please please please add pockets to the jackets! After buying these for the whole family, I have so much love for Frogg Toggs. They've enabled us to do so many things, with all the bulk, squeak, and price of regular rain gear.

Week long trip to Iceland; glacier hiking, hiking behind waterfalls - also weather predicted heavy rain the entire time. Needed a rain suit but was on a budget. Bought Frogg Toggs in a large with the black pants and cherry colored jacket. When it arrived I inspected the seams, zippers, toggles - everything. Everything was solid... even though this suit is essentially made of dentist bib material. I did not have high hopes. I rolled it up and it didn't take up room in my suitcase - which was great. I piled on my layers (it is literally paper so you will need thermals if in cold weather) and went glacier hiking and ice climbing in the pouring rain wearing a climbing harness OVER the rain suit. Not only was I bone dry, but the stress from the harness rubbing did not impact the material/seams at all!! The toggles allow the wearer to seal up at the waist and hood, while the elastic cuffs at the wrists sealed my sleeves. Additionally there is overlap at the waist, so if you wear the pants high and pull the jacket low, pulling the toggles tight, your core is doubly sealed. There is also a button overlap at the zipper on the jacket. After the excursions; it dried remarkably fast. Cons: There are no pockets in the jacket, nor pants. The pant cuffs have a velcro strap, which, while allowing the wearer to open them, pull on over boots and bulky clothes, end up (once revelcro-ed at the ankle or boot) gapping four to five inches on the outside of the leg above the ankle. This does allow moisture to get in as well as cold air so a bit of strategic tucking is necessary. Over all, FANTASTIC. I did look like the Sta-Puft Marshmallow Man in my bulky layers, but I was the one laughing in the end, warm and dry.

I WALKED 22 MILES IN THE POURING RAIN AND THIS SUIT KEPT ME DRY. IM STILL AMAZED BY THE QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT. IT IS THE BEST THING EVER !!!

If you want to look mahvelous in the rain, Dahling, you must keep looking. This suit could not be accused of passing for fashion apparel. I think the pictures may be somewhat misleading in that regard. In one or two of the pictures, the model appears to be wearing leggings, and in the other photos I think that the suit may have been pinned back to make it appear more fashionable. This is suit is actually very boxy, but it works very well for its purpose. In Oregon it rains pretty much daily for a good 5 months of the year, and if you are active at all, this suit can come in handy I bought a size up so I could wear it over my layered clothing to walk the dogs, go to the dog park, etc. The material is a bit odd, but I was prepared for that since a friend of mine bought a similar suit first. The jacket has elastic wristbands, and the collar can be closed snugly with pull strings. I would prefer that the hoodie had enough space to accommodate a baseball cap to the brim (to keep the cold rain off my face), but this issue was solved with a waterproof cap. The pants have velcro fasteners at the ankle, and pull strings to cinch nicely around the waist. Both the pants and jacket could be improved with the addition of pockets. All things considered, I enjoy the suit and thought it a rare bargain at $33.

Amazing product and Waterproof!! I purchased a pair of Frogg Toggs after looking at the weather forecast for one of my many epic fishing adventures here in good old Washington State . The product came very quick with a standard delivery option. I’m 5’1” and 130lbs I ordered a small and I’m glad I did! I have a short torso and long legs. I think the medium would have been to big and much to long. It fits perfectly with room to layer. The material is made out of 100% Polyethylene which is perfect for the amount of rain we get it’s also breathable so you’re not sweating like other rain suits you typically see. The jacket has several places with elastics on the hood and bottom of jacket as well as the in the waist on the pants and around the bottom of pants. It made for a better fit. I did read some reviews stating the hood being to small. I think it’s a perfect fit! However the con is—There are no pockets but I was aware of that upon purchasing. I will buy again! 😍

I ordered this product after it was recommended on a motorcycle website I was looking at because we were taking a long weekend trip and I was afraid it might rain. Was I glad I did!!! This rain suit worked great!! Riding at 60-65 mph in the rain wasn't fun, but at least I stayed dry. I purchased an XL and it fit great. I'm rather large up-top and normally wear an XL or a 12 or 14 shirt. I even could have had my leathers on underneath it and it would have fit well. Most importantly IT KEPT ME DRY!!! The legs were large enough that I could put them on over my motorcycle boots and then with the velcro straps tighten them down around my ankles to keep the rain out. I only had a light jacket & a t-shirt on and the jacket really blocked the wind. As others have mentioned it does make some noise when you're moving around, but I wasn't using it for hunting, so it made no difference to me. I also liked the jacket being pink so when it was raining I was more visible to cars than something that was black or gray that may have blended into the surroundings. When we arrived and my husband was soaked and I was so dry, he had me order a set for him too ... love it when I get to say I told you so lol

Though at first you wonder how this suit that feels like paper can work at all, well wait for a good rain. On a recent Pacific Northwest motorcycle trip, it rained for 12 out of the 14 day trip, Frogg Toggs saved us, not only from the wet but from the 40 degree temps. While wearing them in the rain, kept bone dry, didn't even sweat in them they breath well, but even when it was not raining but air temp in the 40's down to 33 degrees, Toggs added at least 10 degrees of warmth over our riding gear. They were life savers.

I bought a suit like this for my husband a couple years ago. After getting soaked recently from above knees to feet, I decided I needed a suit, too. I thought I had a good rain coat up until then. But I was tired of getting awfully wet.... I have good boots, but raincoat only covers so much. Got this yesterday, got to try it today. I put a lightweight fleece jacket on under, and a ball cap on my head to keep rain off my face. The suit is VERY bulky, lots of room in it. But I think that is what helps it breathe also. I went out in pouring down rain and my clothing stayed dry. I have short legs, so I turned the legs up so that they wouldn't drag... yes, there is velcro that you can fix around ankles, but some of our puddles here are quite deep. I'd rather have shorter legs on the pants than worry about dipping them into water. My husband has the same problem... we really don't want legs so long that we have to figure out a way for them to stay up... rain and or muck boots keep our feet and legs dry. After sitting out of the rain with stuff still handy I started noticing differences. They could be upgrades to both versions, I can't know. The new suit I got, the womens jacket hood is attached, not held on with snaps. My husband's older suit has a detachable hood. The hood on my husband's suit is HUGE. The only way to make it smaller are drawstrings that you'd have to tie. New suit has elastic cord and cord locks. That meant that I could fit the hood and have it stay without having to tie strings under my chin. The legs in the pants of my new suit were split at the bottom, I guess to make it easier to get boots through. Husband's suit pants are just really really wide at the bottom.. and his boots do not fit through. Mine fit, but I think it's easier to put the pants on first and then change into boots. (plus, no worries about getting dirt on the insides of the legs) His pants have a drawstring elastic with cord lock... and that is on the inside of the waistband. Mine is on the outside. One other thing: my ladies jacket has the zipper wrong side around. No one does that anymore, I can't imagine why they did that for this jacket. I am used to standard zippers all threading in the same side. Unisex zippers. I don't need a wrong way zipper because I am a female... I'm not going to be breast feeding a baby wearing this!

I do a lot of hiking and running in SE Alaska (lots of rain) . . .I use these preferentially over Arcteryx and Patagonia heavy duty and light duty raingear. I am always much dryer than anyone else in my group. Plan on replacing them every two to three years depending on use (I get about three years out of a set and really abuse them with lots of backcountry brush etc etc). The only situations I choose to wear some of my other raingear sets are when looking good is important (because frog toggs are great for keeping you dry but not for making you look slim or stylish) or if I'm fishing all day long in a downpour . . .then I will choose something like my heavy duty arcteryx (which is phenomenal at keeping rain out, looks good, fish slime can be rinsed off easily, but doesn't even begin to breathe . . . so frog toggs beat them out in a hiking situation hands down). If I"m headed out to hike in alpine and anticipate a combination of snow and rain . . .sometimes I wear the frog toggs but bring the heavy duty arcteryx as backup (even though - over the last three years - I've never pulled the arcteryx out of the backpack and switched - if I was dealing with a lot of wind in a almost freezing situation . . .the arcteryx hood design is super good and the frog togg hood is pretty basic).

My husband has a size large that we share and a men's large is quite roomy. I had read that the women's Frogg Toggs run on the small size so I ordered a X-Large. I'm very glad that I did because the Toggs fit perfectly. I normally wear a 14-16 women's clothes (if you want to know that for comparison. I read some negative reviews about the material they're made out of but it doesn't bother me. I'd rather have a light weight cover up to protect me than to be soaked. My husband's Toggs worked great for keeping us dry so I'm confident my suit will do the same.
