Just got it today, super fast shipping, this is so perfect for what I needed in a pinch. Stone patio and didn't want a permanent fixture. Puts of heat and breathes very well!

This is awesome for RV owners. We use it often and we love it. Very easy to set up, and take down. It generates a great fire as there is no shortage of air flow to the fire. Cools down very quickly, and the wood burns down to a very fine ash. We are glad we found this because not all campgrounds provide fire pits. We also use it when we dry camp.

There was a ton of thought that went into the design which makes this such a great product. Setup and take down is less than 20 seconds, empty the ash and hose it off for cleanup. Great bag to store it in. I used a laser thermometer to check temperatures and the sides were between 100 and 115. And directly below (on the pavement) was only 200-210. I have used it 10 times so far and would expect several seasons of use before even thinking of replacing the screen mesh. I highly recommend this product.

I did a lot of looking for a moveable fire pit. I really wanted the biolite fire pit. But I did not like the idea of listening to a fan , I just wanted to enjoy a fire. So I found this one. It's simple , it was cheaper and works very well. holds more wood than you think. IT's almost smoke free. and does not seem to leave any ashes on the ground. I could not be more pleased. And it packs down like a folding chair. Simple engineering done right .

Bought this and set it up for a 3 day camp. Worked amazingly and got many compliments. When I get home I will set it up in the backyard and put some bricks around it. Then pull it out when I go camping again. We used Charcoal and cooked several meals with it and made coffee. Also used it just for a big fire for smores.

We love camping & especially a good camp fire. We were looking for a new fire pit for our tiny backyard, but everything was too large. Not only that, other decorative pits blocked the view of the fire ~ which is my favorite part! This compact fire pit is the perfect solution! We've had really nice size fires with very little clean up. The Pop-up Fire Pit's mesh base allows much more airflow than a traditional pit. We hardly had to tend it at all! Clean up was a breeze. We just hosed it off & hung it to dry for a few minutes. Can't wait to take it on some adventures! Two Issues: 1. The edges of the 4 pieces which make up the ember guard/tray are really sharp. Our kids will be handling the pieces so we ended up sanding them down. 2. For the price, we were expecting a more substantial carry bag. This one is fine for now, but we're probably going to make a stronger bag out of canvas.

Love the portable folding aspect. My husband and i put it together when we got it. Simple to assemble. Looks durable. We have not been able to use it yet though. The campsite we went to required a top so we had to buy another pit from walmart with top. Not paying an extra $80 for a top to put in this one. Seems good but hopefully it lasts a long time. Was to expensive in my opinion but my hubby wanted it. It will be worth the cost if it lasts several years of occasional use.

I spent a long time searching for the coolest fold up fire pit...by far this it! It folds up, cleans up and stores super easy in its own storage bag. With the open screen design and heat sheild the fire is very easy to start and the heat sheild helps protects the surface underneath the fire pit such as grass, patio ect. Probably the nicest thing about it is the clean up...due to the fact that the screen bottom allows the wood to burn completely to ash. Just a rinse with a hose and your done, no burnt wood to dispose of. Everyone we have shown it to says it a great idea. We’re very happy with this purchase. Camp on! Matt

I bought one last October (2018) before a late Fall rafting trip, and it performed amazingly well. I especially like the lightweight aluminum and stainless steel construction for use on the water (no rust). We burned quite a bit of wood (I'd say 3 store bought bundles) the first night, and the wood burned completely to ash. This made clean-up in the morning quite easy as all that had to be done was to pick up the mesh screen and dump the ash into a can. There was minimal ash that fell through the mesh, however we had a fire blanket/welding blanket underneath to leave no trace, and I would suggest everyone buying this do the same. Overloaded with firewood, the steel mesh sagged, but held together. My friend even baked a cake in a dutch oven on it using charcoal without the grate. Everyone was impressed, both with the cake and the pit. There is a grill grate made for this pit now available, but I have not tried it. My only uncertainty is about the longevity of the steel mesh, so I think I'll buy a backup mesh to have on hand because that seems like the most likely point of failure, but so far so good.
