Works well so far, I wish it were smaller.

I would like it better if it were a little smaller, it is a little bulky. The phone is already large, but the price is right for the case. Need to protect the phone. I was a little worried from some of the reviews. Reviewers said screen touch is not as nice as glass. I used some car wax on it. It feels much better, even better the next day. They said the face recognition and iris scan do not work. Well they do not work if you set it up, and than later add the screen protector. I know that because I tried it. Than I decided to set it up again with the screen protector on, guess what, it works. It charges on the wireless, but it is slow, but it may be the charger. The charger is a BTCHARGE iPhone X Wireless Charger, 10W Fast Wireless Charging Pad Stand . My note 9 went from 3% to 15% in about an hour. Too long I think. Maybe it is the charger? I may pull the case off and see if that helps. I have not dropped the phone, so we will see about that. I like being able to see the phone though the clear case. The pen is a bit hard to get out. I may modify the case. The charging cover is kind of a pain, but I hope to not need it much.

Great case. Worth the try!

Update: dropped my phone on the pavement, the case held its promise, scuffed the corner a bit (the case, not the phone) and the phone is left flawless. This is my favorite case! Pros: This case is really awesome. It's well built and offers true 360 protection for your phone. It has the front protection that covers the entire screen, and the back casing which is see-thru showcases your phone well, not to mention the sealed ports at the bottom to avoid extra dirt or water or whatever (see pics for details). Cons: This is a massive phone case. Gives your phone several extra mm in every direction, and adds weight too. Also, since no screen protector substitutes the actual phone screen in terms of quality, responsiveness and touch, this one is no exception. If you swipe your keyboard, you won't notice much, but if you type individual letters, you'll see that responsiveness is less than the actual screen. It does however work good, no distortions when looking at the screen and since it's not glass, it's better than I expected. You also cannot use just the back protection, without the screen, the phone will fit but will also fall right off, as the front is what snaps everything into place. Overall: Good case, feel like I can drop my phone and it will hold it inside intact. Both front and back are plastic, but nicely built without bubbling or sticking to the screen. But, if you're looking for a snug case, this definitely isn't the one.

Great case for the price.

I have this for my note 9. I tried the glass screen protectors first. But none of them would stay stuck on. So went with this case. This is my 2nd day and I like it. I like that the back is clear so you can see the blue phone. I haven't had problems with the buttons or s pen writing. Only thing is there is like a little rainbow on the front screen protector sometimes. But this case is very easy to take off and on. I like that it has the dust protectors for charging port and head phone Jack. And my ring holder sticks very well to it. All in all cant beat for the price.

FINALLY a built in screen protector that WORKS!!

My second case from i-Blason and they're 2 for 2. I LOVE the covered ports, the quality of the material is great, well worth every penny. I don't typically like cases with built in screen protectors. I, like many im sure, have had terrible experiences with loose, flimsy built in screen protectors that affected the touch sensitivity horribly. In fact i was expecting to remove this built in screen protector and bought a separate screen protector from another company so i could be ready for my disappointment, but i think i might return those extra protectors because FINALLY i have a perfect case with a built in screen protector that actually WORKS on a curved screen!! I didn't need to adjust my screen sensitivity either. The S pen works perfect as well. It's not tempered glass so keep in mind if you drop something on your phone or your phone lands screen down on something hard/pointy, your screen will probably crack. This screen protector isn't the almighty savior from all things anti-glass, it's thin plastic, it protects from scratches, residues and other junk from daily use. If you have something expensive, treat it as though it's expensive. Don't get a $10 phone case and expect it to fend off all evil. Popsocket is mine, not included from this company, and has stuck perfectly fine to my last i-Blason case and now this one. Front and rear cameras show no glare, all buttons work flawlessly. I will update if anything changes after more use.

Buy 2. Just in case they stop making it. It's that good

Wow. What a great investment. I have enjoyed Samsung for years now, and my old Edge 6+ lasted forever even though I dropped it every day. However, when I put down $1k on the new Note 9 , I decided to pop it into a case the moment I bought it, and never let it out. I spent 2 hours on Amazon browsing Note cases, reading reviews, checking photos, and comparing them off of each other. I couldn't decide between the top 3, so I ordered all of them. By far this case was the best. The installation took about 15 seconds, after I used rubbing alcohol to clean the phone and the inside of the case, everything snapped together perfectly. Several important things which have me posting this review, and ordering the same case again for backup: 1. THE GRIP. I am constantly dropping my phones, on average once per day. This case makes a (very large) phone fit snug and comfortable inside my hand. The edges are contoured perfectly. The edge material feels like hard plastic rubber, and is not slippery like the waterproof case I also bought. There is a really nice opening for the Pen, and also a perfectly beveled opening for the fingerprint sensor on the back. 2. Full screen protection. Some of the popular Note cases only protect the back! That makes no sense to me! I honestly could care less if the back is cracked or scratched up, the FRONT SCREEN is the entire purpose and experience of the smartphone, and protection of the front is the only thing that matters. This case completely covers the front screen, and also has a large raised rim on four corners which prevents the screen from ever touching a flat but dangerous surface (like asphalt). The case is not waterproof, but it doesn't need to be because the Note9 itself is waterproof! 3. The look! It actually looks much sexier in real life than it does in the photos. The case should not subtract from the aesthetic appeal of a 1,000 dollar modern marvel of technology, however some of the most secure cases are also ugly af and look better on an old flip phone. This case looks really tight, well- made, and the blue color that I picked goes really well with the dark colored phone. 4. The little buttons on the side are part of the rubber edge, and they actually make pressing the power and volume buttons require a little more force WHICH I LIKE. Sometimes adjusting the volume on the phone leaves your opposing finger on top of the power button, and instead of turning down the volume you lock the screen >: ( With this case, it requires a deliberate press of the power button to activate it. I don't have to hold the phone delicately, I can grip it like a brick without inadvertently hitting the wrong button. 5. The screen sensitivity is not affected, because the Samsung Note 9 has a toggle in settings allowing you to increase the sensitivity, with the sole purpose of preventing a case from interfering. That being done, there is no noticeable difference between a naked screen and the fully protected one. 6. I like the rubber flaps on the bottom which plug into your charging and auxiliary ports, preventing dirt and other crap from entering. When you're ready to charge or play music, you simply flip them open. 7. BUY THIS FOR YOUR NOTE 9! You won't be disappointed. Get blue.

Superb case and screen protector!

Back when I had a Galaxy Note 8, I tried tempered glass screen protectors, but they never stayed on properly, because the glue was only on the edges. Then I tried a film screen protector, and while it covered most of the screen, the edges of the film quickly got super dirty. Also, the film itself felt rubbery and not nearly as nice as glass. Now that I upgraded to the Note 9, I was determined to find the best protection for my expensive phablet. I looked at the reviews, and ended up getting the i-Blason case you're looking at here. All I can say is "wow." Superb case, with excellent protection on all sides. The best part is the built-in screen protector. While it doesn't feel quite as good as the phone's screen when completely uncovered, it's way better than the film screen protectors I've used. Smooth, with no bubbles or gaps, and zero dirty edges. I have no issues with the screen sensing my fingertips or the S-Pen (make sure you switch on the "enhanced screen sensitivity" button so it works properly). All in all, I couldn't be happier or more satisfied with this case. Highly recommend.

Good Case -Protective, so far so good

For: i-Blason Ares case for Note 9 in pink. Case was easy to put on. The two part design seems fairly protective - I really like the thick rubbery outside bumper. Just the right amount of tacky to not slip out of your hand. It's a tiny bit bulky, but the angled style of the bumper makes it feel slimmer in your hand than square edge styles. The front protective screen cover is thin plastic and attached to the front frame part. You can't fit this over a glass protector as far as I can tell. Phone response is still very good through the plastic. I didn't really have to adjust the "touch sensitivity", it worked fine without adjusting, but I decided to do anyway to optimize. I'm not sure how the plastic screen cover will hold up - 3 days in and I have some scratches, but nothing too noticeable. It will protect the screen from scratches, but likely would not prevent breakage if you dropped the screen directly on something. There are port covers over the headphone jack and the charger port. I've used both ports and the covers aren't too bad to pull out [even with medium length nails]. Since this is not designed as a waterproof case, the only function these really do is keep dirt and debris out. I may opt to trim off these port covers if I find they annoy me. For now I'm leaving them. Back is crystal clear and shows the phone color through nicely. Case buttons have a nice responsive feeling - lined up perfectly. The s-pen might be challenging to get out for people with larger fingers or short nails. I'm able to push it in with my longer thumb nail and it pops out where I can pull it out. Because of the case edge thickness [for protection] the holes for the mic and speaker are a bit deeper than I'm used to. But... sound still seems fine and nobody has mentioned they can't hear me well. So I think it's fine. Overall I'm very pleased with this case. My last phone/case [SG6] lasted me the entire 3 years of that phone. I suspect this one will have to be replaced when the screen plastic becomes annoyingly scratched up. Until then.. I really like it.

SAVED MY NOTE 9 SCREEN!

THIS PHONE CASE SAVED MY NOTE 9 SCREEN! I accidentally dropped a jagged edged flat head screw driver on my phone screen. Everything literally slow down as I watched the screwdriver edge fall uncontrollably toward my phone screen. My heart felt like it had stopped, and I immediately thought the worst. The case suffered a little knick on the front face, but my main concern was my actual phone screen. I quickly remove the case from my phone to see that my phone screen was a 100% flawless with no damage! I love this phone case! Not only does it protect your phone, but it also doesn't make your phone extremely bulky. Plus its stylish, yet simple at the same time. I just placed an order for another i-Blason case, because that little knick is going to bug me so much with time lol. But it's 100% worth it since I know this case does what it is supposed to do. Thank you i-Blason! Great product!!!
