I have always use Pinnacle studio for creating home videos.

Great Program

The last version of Pinnacle I used was PS 16. A lot has changed since that version. If you are considering this software you need to make sure your computer can render the video that is required in most of the high end functions. Otherwise it will either be jerky, buggy or crash. The software specs have a minimum and a recommended level. If your computer doesn't equal or exceed the recommended specs you will have issues. I bought a computer specifically as a 'Media Computer'. Pinnacle Studio 22 Ultimate runs great. Multi-cam editing works wonderfully! My previous Computer died. I knew that there were some great new functions in the new Pinnacle Studio so I decided to upgrade everything. I'm really glad I did. I am especially impressed with the ability to move and adjust the windows to suite me. Working with videos is slightly different with each person, so it's nice to be able to adjust the studio interface so it feels right for me. Nice job Pinnacle Studio! If you've never worked with Video Editing Software this program will seem intimidating. The PDF manual isn't going to make it any less intimidating. There are however, some great videos that the help program directs/connects you with. I highly recommend them. The Pinnacle Guru is Jeff Naylor. His Pinnacle Studio books are sold right here on Amazon. The latest version is for Pinnacle Studio 21 (720 pages). I'm waiting for the new version to come out. I bought 22 Ultimate a couple of weeks ago because I had a request from a local HS to make a video. I shot the event only to discover my Media computer had died. I had to rebuild all of my files and resources with the knowledge that I was going to be using software unfamiliar to me. The software is everything I had hoped for and expected! I am now near completion of my first video with Pinnacle Studio 22. I love the new layout! Fortunately for me I have experience with Video Editors which helps with catching up to the new version. I Highly Recommend Pinnacle Studio 22. Just know that it's a full blown editing suite and it's complicated with a steep learning curve.

Works great with Windows 10

No problems using so far on Windows 10. The disc version does come with a disc in the box.

What did You like? Easy to learn and use Powerful editing scheme for video using multiple tracks Especial effects What I dislike? Difficul to install. Requires a lot of memory from your computer. I couldn't install it from a hard disk si required help from technical support in the USA (finally We got to install it by downloading). It will take time to install Suggestions Will be great to have book with ideas, tools, etc to exploute Pinacle Ultimate Estudio 22 to the fullest Will be great to have extra packs of especiall effects, images, sound, etc to enhaced the power of edition

Standard video software that's been around a long time.

I have been using Pinnacle since version 6. That was a long time ago and the upgrade prices have not increased much at all over all those versions. It continually gets better and I usually upgrade every other version. Had some issues with the rendering an SVCHD and Coral responded immediately and resolved the problem.
