Great phone, not complicated!

Love this phone. It does everything I want it to do without being complicated. The screen has great color and the camera is great too. Battery life seems good. Was $20 less than at the Tracphone site.

Serves my purpose

Not a heavy phone user so this phone works just fine for me. Tracfone had it up and running after I logged in my info online at Tracfone in about 10 minutes. Had the Samsung Galaxy j3 Luna Pro before this and it worked great too. Mainly I upgraded because of the good price on the Orbit and that it has Android 8.

bargain smartphone from Tracfone

I've always used Tracfone for my cellphone use. I have never used any other carrier company. This Samsung is the first smartphone I have owned. I have always shied away from owning a smartphone due to the high cost of monthly plans that other companies charge. Due to the very low cost of Tracfone yearly service plans it was a better idea to get this smartphone rather than reload my old cellphone for a full year. I called Tracfone for set up the device as I could not do it on my own online. Tracfone used to have foreign service people, I would guess maybe they were located in India. Some of the service people used to ditch my call if they did not want to talk to me for setting up a new phone but I would eventually get somebody that would help me. The new Tracfone service is automated when you register a new phone. I did not have any problems with the automated service. It does take a while to transfer your old phone number to the new device. This smartphone is small and Samsung seems to be a good brand name to trust. This phones case is very slippery. The first day it slipped out of my hand into my cars trunk space and today it slipped off my sofas arm rest on it's own and landed on the carpet. I bought an inexpensive case protector for the phone today. This phone sure needs some kind of case protector due to it's slippery nature. It took me quite a while to learn the different functions of the phone since it is the first smartphone I've owned.

Great Phone at this price!! Samsung "Smart Switch" App made for easy transfer from older Grand Prime to the J3 Orbit. Had to upgrade from Lollipop to continue using my Dunkin Donut App. Gotta have my Dunkin! I also feel Tracfone has the best no contract phone plans. Very flexible for my use.

Good phone for the price

I bought this for my teenage daughter because she (once again) broke her other phone. This was within my price range and seemed to have good reviews. She loves it. It came quickly and was nicely packaged. No issues with phone whatsoever. Would buy again if I had to.

Excellent Value

Excellent camera, even has HDR. Bright screen with outdoor setting. Almost as fully capable as my S7. Great battery life. The J3 Orbit is a budget camera that doesn't act like one. Tracfone service is very good, also very cheap for what you are getting. I am using this phone as my Florida phone, as my roaming charges from Canada are ridiculous. I send and receive lots of texts with images and for that the phone is superb. Local calls here in Florida work fine, and long distance to Canada is good (with an extra $10 add-on).

I'm using this with Pageplus cellular

I really like this phone. To get it to work with Pageplus, I had to give them the phone SN and Tracfone SIM # which are printed on one of the pamphlets. The only issue I had was that I had to change the preferred network on the phone from LTE/CDMA to CDMA. It would not work with Pageplus otherwise. This could be cause I'm on the $12/month plan.
