I saw an ad for this company and thought it would be worth checking out replacement chargers for my Surface Pro 4, because the proprietary charger is both expensive (when I bought my Surface Pro 4, they ran 99.99, although they now are *only* 79.99 and can occasionally be on sale for as low as 59.99), and also fragile. The junction between the wire and the magnetic charging interface can fray and stop working, and is naturally a high stress area, so, especially if you use your device on the go (which is extremely likely for a Surface device), you are likely to have the charger wear out over time, and the factory charger is pretty expensive to replace, since there aren't a lot of replacement chargers available. Egoway's charger is only 29.99 as of time of writing, which made it a reasonable bet at less than half the price of the Microsoft charger, and I was pleased to see that they advertise the wattage and amperage, so you know that it won't damage your tablet. The Egoway charger has all the same features as the stock charger, including the USB port for charging another device, and I was pleased to note that the quality seemed to be very good. In fact, the trouble area at the junction between the wire and the charging plug is not as bendable as the stock one, and seems to be quite a bit more sturdy. It also appears to charge my device slightly faster than the stock one, and I am planning on using it as the primary charger for a while, since it seems like it will travel better and be more useful since it seems to charge up a little faster. It's also worth mentioning that, unlike some other budget chargers I've seen, there's no humming noise coming from anywhere on the device when plugged in. It seems to be very well-made, and I plan to check out more of the products from Egoway in the future. The company seems to be quite responsive as well, so I suspect customer service will be good, although hopefully unnecessary in most situations. I think they're probably in a rather different time-zone than the US, since they seem not to be really active during US business hours, so do keep that in mind if you have to contact the company. Thus far, I'm quite satisfied with the quality of this charger, and am looking forward to checking out their options for my other devices.

Egoway sent me one of these chargers in exchange for writing a review on. Amazon. Ego way said I could give whatever rating I wanted. I really wanted to test that and find something wrong with it, so I kept it a month to avoid only providing a first impression. So here are the pros and cons for the charger. I'll start with cons, both of which are honestly inconsequential: -the power cord that connects to the wall is short but can be swapped with a longer one. It's less than useful when traveling because it hangs out of the AC socket instead of laying flat on the floor. It easily swapped out for a longer one and I cant imagine anyone without extras. -sometimes the charger does not have good connection with the Surface book It use. So I plug it in again. Charge light is on the side instead of the top but that’s mostly nit-picky. The Pro: - Looks almost exactly Like the original - Same specs as original - Has the USB charger like the original - There is a little clip on the wire to make it easy to wrap up. - The price. THE PRICE. New OEM is $99 from Microsoft. This is $29. - Safely turned off when I intentionally overloaded a circuit. Or at least I'm certain it did because it still works. The OEM one crackles instead. If this were $99, I would consider giving it 4-stars. Yes because of the short cord. Go big or go home, right? But it's $29. At that price I would give it 5 stars even if it were ugly or took longer to charge.

The company is awesome. It came with a six month extended warranty. Their shipping was very fast. The cable is an exact fit and feel for my surface Pro 6. It actually seemed to charge my tablet a bit faster than my original charger. Not super fast to where I would be concerned. I noticed it charged my tablet to full in about 15- 20 minutes less time than it normally takes. Cool. The phone charger adapter works great also. I'm very pleased with this item. I expect it to last a long time.

I was in the need of a backup charger for my surface and could not stand to spend $60 on a charger from Microsoft. At first I had my doubts that this charger wouldn't be comparable to the OEM charger. I was very wrong. The orginal charger always worried me that it would fall out of the charging port easily. This charger fills the port up more than the OEM making me more confident of it staying in place. I would definitely recommend this charger to everyone!

I recently purchased a surface pro 3 used and the charger that came with it worked but I wanted to get a spare just in case. I found this one while searching and decided to give it a try. First of all the price was really good and the build quality surprised me given how much less it cost than an original replacement. It actually seems to be built better than the branded one. It included the USB charging port just like the original which was a nice touch. I will definitely keep this brand in mind in the future.

This is a very well made charging cable that provides fast charging at a price significantly less than Microsoft's cable. It is surprisingly lightweight and compact (the brick itself is 3.5"x2"x1") and fits nicely in my messenger bag without adding a lot of bulk. I love the fact that there is a USB port for charging on the brick, adding additional functionality. The company provides an additional six month extension on the warranty for signing up on their website, and provides ample contact information. Works perfectly with my 2017 Surface Pro. Highly recommended!

This charger so far seems better than the original Microsoft that came with my computer. The connections to the battery pack are sturdy and secure, the magnetic piece that fits in the computer seems sturdier than the original. I bought another brand charger on amazon the other day and couldn’t even get it to work. I paid $5 more for this one, and it is 1000% better. Very happy with this purchase! Looks like I saved $70 buys no this, instead of buying the Microsoft brand!!

I bought this power adapter as a replacement for the original adapter that shipped with my Surface Pro. This charger is the same physical size as the original and actually is a bit more powerful. I've used it to fully charge my device without any issues. The quality of the wires is also very comparable to the original. Two thumbs up from me!!

This is my third Surface Pro. The previous power adapters from Microsoft kept overheatin during charging. Not only did the adapers overheat but they caused the computer to overheat. The other PLUS is the speed in which it took to do a complete charge from 25% to 100%. The older ones took anywhere from one and a half hours to 2plus hours while the new one is less than an hour.

I was mildy concerned to try a third party product for my surface because they're obviously a bit pricey, but the obvious quality of this one eased my fears immideietly! I appreciate the inclusion of a usb charger on the brick and the standard length of the cord. It makes it easier to stay mobile to have a back-up cord in my worspace so all I need to grab is the tablet itself!
