We live in South Carolina and almost once a year we have to evacuate for a storm or hurricane. My wife keeps important documents it two lock boxes that are bulky, awkward to carry and hard to pack because they take up a lot of space. I bought this bag to consolidate everything and I'm glad I did. As you can see in the pictures, the lock boxes are packed with a lot of things. The contents of both boxes fit in the bag with room to spare. The carrying handle and optional shoulder strap will make it easier to carry and it'll be easier to pack because it's just one item and is a little more pliable than hard metal boxes. Definitely worth every penny!

GOT TWO ROLOWAYs!!

My friend and I have two types of ROLOWAY bags. They are all very nice. Provides ample space to store important documents. I have to admit I love her larger black one better. Absolutely fireproof and great quality!

Absolutely fireproof! Just received it and it fits perfectly for my Mac and notebooks. Great quality. It comes with a strap so you could carry it on your shoulder.

Great size and very happy

Needed something for our vehicle titles and other docs. For fun I set it up next to our fire pit for a while to see how it would do. It held up great. Feel better about keeping our papers safe now.

For years we had stored important documents and DVDs in our SentrySafe. However, several recent fires in California got a little too close for comfort and we realized from friends that the safe we were using was useless. Why? Because in a house fire, while the safe itself won't burn, the contents of almost every safe like ours was burned. This made me look for other, better options. This bag is great because it holds the entire contents of what was in our little safe, and it is fire rated at a higher number than the SentrySafe. Heaven forbid we have to evacuate, we can just grab the bag and go! No more worrying about leaving behind a larger, heavy safe, and hoping it is still there or that the contents didn't burn. I love this bag and will purchase more as gifts (as odd as that might sound) and tell others about it, too.

Cheaper than a fireproof safe and works for what I need it for

Not going to risk setting my house on fire to test how well this holds up when I put a flame to it but the bag appears to be very well constructed. Bag has a light, but distinct smell and a balmy feel to it which makes me comfortable that it is indeed fireproof. I have historically used a storage cabinet to store all of my important documents but have always been concerned that they would be destroyed if I ever had a house fire. For the amount of documents I own, it would be nice if the bag was larger but I was surprised how much fit inside after opening it and thinking it looked a little small. A nice feature to consider adding would be some sort of padlock for an extra layer of security, but the reality is that if someone wanted to steal anything in it, it is light enough to walk away with. Having said that, the fire protection gives me great piece of mind given the reasonable price of the product.

Well made fire resistant document bag

We ordered 2 different brands of this type of bag and both were nice. They seem to be well made and very sturdy. Previously, we had been using a fire safe locked box but the last time we tried to open it, it almost didn’t work. A lot of key jiggling and we finally were able to retrieve our most important documents. That’s when we decided to try one of these bags. In reality, if someone breaks in to your home and steals a fire safe, they will be able to bust it open. So we really don’t need that aspect, just something to protects our documents in case of an emergency. This bag should do what we need. It’s a good size and easy to carry. I love that I don’t need a key every time I need to take something out of put it away again. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

Protect your important Documents and Passport!

I just received this Fireproof Doxument Holder today, and was pleasantly surprised by how roomy it actually is. I plan to put all my important papers, Passport, and some Jewelry in there. Maybe also some of my treasured photos. Right now everything is in a different drawer in different parts of the house. In case of Fire, I would waste precious time trying to gather all of them. What a great idea this bag is. I can keep everything all in one place! Not sure how Fireproof it really is, but one thing for sure, it provides more protection than zero protection in a drawer!

Great product

Good size for letter sized documents. About as wide as a brief case so it can hold a lot. Comes with a shoulder strap which would be helpful if having to flee in an emergency. As advertised, it is fireproof and water resistant. I held a flame to it for a minute and the material did not catch fire nor melt. The handle may melt, but the bag itself will remain safe. It is water resistant. I put it in the shower for a minute then let it sit wet for about 10 minutes (trying to simulate getting wet from fire hoses). The papers inside remained dry. I would recommend this bag for keeping documents safe but I'd still use ziploc bags for irreplaceable papers just in case of major water issues. Overall, great bag.

Perfect size for the important documents

I picked this up in the hopes of making my family a little bit safer. We had been keeping important documents like the house, insurance, etc in a regular metal filing cabinet. With this bag, I can now safely keep the most crucial documents at an arms reach should something come up where we need to be ready to go. As an added bonus, the case has a shoulder strap so I can easily carry it without giving up one of my hands. It is comfortable and not heavy at all with just a collection of documents and hard drives. I should have gotten one sooner!
