Solution for memory problems
Mr Trouble had a stroke two years ago and has terrible memory issues. One of the things that has saved him is an absolute dependency on habit. All keys go in one place. His phone gets put down in the same place. Still, he forgets and things go missing. Tiles have been a godsend. He has one that he uses for his phone and another for the boat keys. He was really thrilled to see the two pack and asked if he could use one of them. Apparently his wallet has been a problem. I can't even count the times when he has gone out to pick up take out hamburgers or pizza or nails and didn't have his wallet. Fortunately, we live in a small town and people tell him to come back tomorrow. The other one is for him too. I am just waiting to hear what he has to find.

Louder than Tile Sport
I love the user replaceable CR2032 battery. When using the Tile Pro, the first thing I noticed is that it sounds louder than my Tile Sport. So I compared the two using a digital sound level meter. Interestingly they both measured around 90 dBA from a few inches away (I was expecting higher numbers from the Tile Pro). Then I realized that the reason the Tile Pro sounds much louder is because it emits mid-range frequencies, whereas the Tile Sport emits very high frequencies. Humans don’t hear the extremely high frequencies as easily as dogs. The Tile Pro definitely has a bolder, thicker sound that makes it easier to locate. The high frequency sound of the Tile Sport might have something to do with its waterproofing muffling its mid-range frequencies. The Tile Pro is only water resistant (can’t soak it underwater) which allows the design to have a more effective speaker grille. Here’s a view of the two side-by-side.

Must keep bluetooth and location on
It took me a while to understand it has no functionality without bluetooth and location but with them both on, everything works perfect. I've accidentally turned off location and not been able to find my phone with the tile which is annoying, but the app will help on another device. Overall, great quality, works and very helpful.

Works great for dogs!
STRONGLY recommend if you have a pet that gets out of the yard like mine does! My dog finds clever ways to break out of our fenced in yard every day. I had used regular tile to find him until this one came out. This has incredible distance, great battery life, and an extremely loud ringer. As soon as my dog hears it, he comes running back from wherever he is. Highly recommend!

Best Tile product so far
This is my 2nd Tile product. Last year, I bought the Tile Sport and the app notified me that it was time to upgrade. If this new replaceable battery Tile wasn't released, I wasn't sure I was going to buy a new Tile. That's because the ringer on the old Tile was too low to be really effective and I wasn't a fan of being locked in to their battery replacement subscription process. Since this new Tile product had a replaceable battery, I decided to try it. This new Tile is physically bigger than my old Tile Sport. That's actually a good thing because it means the speaker is bigger as well. With the old Tile, if I rang it from my phone, and my keys were downstairs and I was upstairs, I could barely hear ring on the tile. With this new product, I could easily hear the ringer on the Tile going off when I'm upstairs and my keys are downstairs. It also appears that Tile changes the frequency of the default ring as well, which in combination of the larger speaker, makes the ringing easier to hear. The Alexa integration is good, but can be inconsistent. After enabling the Skill, and asking Alexa to find my keys, she will say that she is having problems finding my phone, but the ringer on the Tile will start ringing a few seconds later. Outside, the claimed 300 feet is real, providing there is a clear line of site and the ringer was loud enough for me to follow. Since the battery is replaceable, the new Tile is more water repellent than water resistant, but that's a fair trade off. So, all in all, this new Tile is a much better product than all previous generations. There is a new Tile Premium subscription which add smart alerts, location history, free batteries, and unlimited sharing. However, those are not features that I'm interesting in, so I didn't sign up for them.

More bulk and weight if you want to add to a keychain.
Works further than 300ft outdoors with a clear line of sight. A little bigger and heavier than I’d like but works great for what it does. Like adding a half size garage door remote. Works great and would definatly buy them again.

I dont wast time looking for my phone or my keys anymore !!!
I first got Tile bc i had gotton a new truck but it only had one set of keys. Dealership had lost the other set when it was transported so while i was waiting for the other set i was working in my garage after i had just got back home. Had not gone in the house at all. Went to look for my keys and they were gone ! 2 hours i looked !!! I was so mad !!! Finally i remembered hearing a funny sound when i was over by the cases of stacked water in my garage at the beginning of my 2 hour search... there they were ! They had slid into a open case of water to the bottom. Lost 2 hrs. of my life i can never get back ! Thats it ! Im ordering Tile ! While waiting for Tile i lost another set of keys... 45 min. looking... checked my purse 3 times still never saw them. On the 4th check knowing they had to b in there i emptied everything out and in the bottom of the purse were my other truck keys... So now im the proud owner of 9 Tiles ! One on every set even spares to 2 trucks, motorcycle and camper ! I dont even bother to look anymore i just call for my Tile... i lost my phone one day also and thanks to Tile i was able to figure out where it was hiding as well ! You have a customer for life !

Easy. Seamless. Elegant.
I was texting my daughter about these Tile Pros when I first started playing with them, and I actually typed the phrase "Oh joyous joy!" when I learned about the Alexa integration--more on which in a bit. But that should give you an idea of my opinion of these elegant little devices. Background: This is my first time using a Tile. I had been aware of them in the past and mildly curious. Had someone bought me one, I'd have been happy, but I didn't splurge myself. Probably that was due in part to the expense. Earlier Tile models are a little cheaper than these new Pro Tiles, but they come with a high price: The battery is not replaceable, so you have to replace the Tile itself every year or so. The company has a program where you can get replacements at a discount, but that's still too steep for me. These Pros, though, sport a standard replaceable battery. Now I'm interested. The Pro also boasts a much bigger range than previous models, 300 feet vs. 150 feet or less for the others. This pair of Pro Tiles come in a nice little box with what at first may seem like a dauntingly thick guide. No need to fear; the minimal directions are just translated into a bunch of languages. Setting up a Tile is super easy. You basically download the free Tile app and follow a few directions, and you're golden. It could not be simpler. Prior to playing around with these Pros, I wasn't 100% sure how they worked. Specifically, I didn't know if you had to attach one to your phone in order to locate your phone. And you may be wondering the same thing: But no, you don't. In fact, each Tile really does double duty. You attach it to the thing you don’t want lost, your keys say, and you can then find them using the Tile app on your phone. But if you can’t find your phone, you can double press the Tile’s single button and it will make your phone ring, even if it’s silenced. And on the off chance that you lose both your keys and your phone? Well, if you’re at home, there’s a solution. That’s where the joyous joy comes in. If you’ve got an Alexa, you can enable the Tile skill. Then, just ask Alexa to ask Tile where your phone or your keys are. Easy. Seamless. Elegant. Negatives? Right now, these babies seem to only be sold in a twin pack. I’d like single packs to be an option in the future. Other than that, it’s all good. Unless this thing inexplicably fails, I’m sold. These would also make a great gift (especially if singles were available). Maybe add them to your Festivus wish list.

Tile is the top finder.
After discovering that the tile has a replaceable battery feature I ordered and was happy to find out that its a great finder. I tried others and this one is by far the top. Just one feature is missing, and that is the smart finder, that would buzz the iPhone if the range of the tile and cell phone exceeds 20-30 feet. Many finders are including in their design. This feature is great because it prevents losing, rather than have a stress looking for the lost item. There is a subscription, but it covers only the radius of the house. Otherwise, I recommend.
