Wow Love this thing.....

what a big difference in taste and texture of food... anyone using a stainless steel steamer needs to give bamboo steamers a try. I just chopped up some kale, yellow and red peppers, threw in some purple onions... I didnt even have to season it, I had zero idea how much flavor was being lost steaming in a stainlesssteel steamer... This bambo steamer leaves food nice and perfectly steamed without flavor loss..if you are a steamer and never tried a bambood steamer do yourself a favor and get this thing.. I love the lil chopsticks and sauce plate for dippin dumplings in was a cute lil touch.. Now I want to steam some dumplings...lol

This bamboo steamer is wonderful! I bought it initially to steam fish, but since, I’ve also steamed dumplings and chicken with it! Such a healthy means of cooking. Great product. Excellent customer service too! Very pleased all around.

This is one of those "five stars in all categories" transactions... The product: The steamer is entirely bamboo, no metal to rust or stain... The parts fit properly... The washable and thus reusable basket liners are a nice touch... I normally don't write a review this soon (four days) after delivery, but no need to wait... We've used the steamer every day (sometimes twice per day) on dumplings, veggies, fish & pork... Food came out perfectly each time... The transaction: The price was fair for the product and accessories... It arrived at our rural front door 27 hours after we placed the order... Amazon packaging was not excessive... (We had a couple other items in the order so Amazon could not use a snug fit package...) All items were packed safely and arrived complete... We are looking forward to a long useful life for this steamer...

Well Built, Cleanup is a Snap!

All bamboo steamers are not built the same. This one is ALL bamboo, no wires to rust or leave a bad taste in your food. An added bonus are the reusable mats to keep food from falling through and to prevent getting the steamer dirty. When you are finished cooking, simply hand wash the mats with dish soap and hang to dry, and a simple rinse is all the steamer needs before putting it away to dry. The set fits perfectly in my medium wok and I steamed 2 dozen shrimp quickly and to perfection. Next up is Dim Sum and I cannot wait!

Love love love

I LOVE this. My mom ordered it for me for Christmas. I’ve used it at least 10 times now. I haven’t had any problems with it. I cut little squares of wax paper out and place them on the cloth and steam my food. I’ve even put plates in it to steam fish. The ONLY dislike I have is it has a strong plastic smell while it’s sitting on the pot...it’s not burning...so I’m not sure what’s happening lol. But this is my favorite tool ever.

Eating healthy and not spending a lot!

I love this steamer. You come home put some water to steam. Add your food and in less then twenty minutes a healthy dinner is served. This is going to save me so much money on going to the fish market. You get a bag of corn for 5.00 with twelve in the pack. Go to the fish market get 2 pieces of corn for 1.75 a whole cabbage about 4.00$ fish market a small slice 1.75 You do the math. I steamed four different meals on less than what I would spend on one trip to the market

Great steamer with great results

I love this steamer. I used the day that I received it to make beef Chinese steamed buns, they came out great! I love the smell of the bamboo as the steam is coming out through the top. It was really easy to clean and ready for the next thing right away. I received it fairly quick. The make is sturdy and well put together. I would recommend it.

"The Steamer Basket Lid had about 10% of the upper layer of bamboo not seated in the groove. I didn’t take pictures but was able to push it all back down and get it seated without any issue. All is good and looking forward to using my new steamer. I really appreciate all the extra goodies that you sent with it. I never had those with my old one." Their response was that they are handmade and that can happen. Just push on the middle of the lid and they will fall back into place.

We have used it a few times now

We got this for a dumpling making adventure that went very bad. Since then we have used it for a few easier recipes, and it has worked great. As long as you line the bottom it is easy to clean.

I needed a large bamboo steamer for my 14-inch wok. Not easy to find. I finally found this one and it had a reasonable price. It came well packaged and arrived within the time specified. It may have said so in the description, but I was nicely surprised to find a set of chopsticks, sauce bowl and round cloth disks for placing over the steamer bottom to place your food on. I have not used it yet so cannot comment on how it holds up. Judging from other bamboo steamers I have owned, I see no reason that it will not be with me for a long time.
