This Really is a Tangle Free Spinning Flagpole

The advertisement was not clear as to how this works, but the design is unique to other types of flagpoles I have seen. As shown in the picture, there are two sections to the flagpole. What was not shown or described is the fact that all of the upper section of the pole is free spinning and once you attach your flag to this section, the flag and the upper portion of the flagpole spins together. I accidentally ordered a double set of two. After opening and installing the first set, I cancelled my return and decided to keep the second set. This is well worth the money and I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of solution.

Best tangle free pole so far!

We get high winds where we fly our flags. These have been the best poles yet. They can withstand a lot.

The rotating pole keeps the flag hanging down and up when wind is up. Very nicely designed pole. One thing to keep in mind; The kit does NOT include flag.

Believe the hype

Does not tangle. Period. Other "tangle free" poles have made me extremely frustrated, as I was forced to manually untangle the flag several times per day. Haven't touched this since I installed it several weeks ago, and that's a very good thing.

High quality and it’s really tangle free!

We’ve had this two months now and I’m happy to report that it really works. It never tangles, no matter how much wind we get. We love it. I was afraid it was too big for our front porch, but it actually looks really good at this size.

A very nice flag pole!

I like everything about it except the clip for the top of the flag aad the tiny plastic ring. I have rescued several of these poles from the trash and 3D printed rings that clamped around the pole, a bushing that reduced the flag grommet to 3/16" and a 10-24 SS screw that passes thru one tab on the ring and threads into the other tab on the ring

GREAT quality. Easy to install. Vibrant flag colors. Very uniform. I'm not over-promising, but these two flags survived a tornado without so much as a bend in the frame or even a loose thread. Very impressive. Will definitely buy these again, to add to our horizon decor.

Very Attractive and Well Made Flag Pole!

Good looking flag pole. I like it much better than the old wooden broom handle I've been using. Pole takes only a few minutes to assemble and seems to be very well made. The base is made of pressed metal. These tend to break easily and will in high winds areas. I replaced an old nylon base that I've been using for 20 years. I hope this one last that long. As you can see in my first photo, I use electrical tape on the end of the flag pole to make the connection a little bit snugger and to also help fight off damage from the thumb screw that holds the pole on. Without the tape, the pole always seems to come lose and the screw destroys the end of the pole. I apply the tape like I would a baseball bat and it works great. The pole itself is also well made. It's not as sturdy as maybe a steel pole would be, but it gets the job done. I've been using a 5 foot pole for as long as I can remember. For even a 3x5 flag, the 6 foot pole seems to be a much better option. I like the way a 6 foot pole looks and how it extends the flag high enough to keep the flag from hitting the down spout. The pole does sway a little, but even in strong winds, the flag does not tangle. My previous tangle free pole was a plastic tube over a wooden stick - I can tell you from experience that it did not work. This pole is absolutely a much better design. The gold end cap is very nice. It screws on and I took it off when I connected my flag so I didn't scuff t up. It's made of plastic and cover in some type of gold film. It looks nice and if the gold peals off, it can always be repainted. Or even without it, the pole still looks nice. All in all, this is a great purchase. I love this flag pole. Especially the white - it really looks nice and give the flag a clean, sharp appearance.

DOES WHAT IT SAYS!

I purchased this for my husband for over our garage. It's the only place where we can hang a flag. He got tired of always having to untangle the old one. This does not get tangled. He is happy!
