Best compact vent mount I've found

Granted I haven't tried every one out there. But by count, there are nine different very mounts in my pile of stuff. They all seem to hold a phone just fine. What they don't do is hold on to the vent. These simply do. At the moment I am using a Samsung S9. It holds the phone nicely with no slip of any kind, and it holds the very blades. I can't ask for anything else from a very mount. This one is a winner and considerably less expensive than several others that either didn't hold at all or lost their grip after a short while. Buy this. Highly recommended!

Works Great!

Best car mount I've used! My previous mount was an iOttie, but it was too much bulk for the cabin of my new car. I stray from magnetic vent mounts because I wirelessly charge my phone at home and work and taking the metal back off Everytime would be annoying. I found this mount while browsing and decided to give it a try. I was concerned about it's size at first, but it fits my cars vents perfectly. I also didn't thing it rotated because of the double mount design, but it actually does. It holds a very firm grip on my GS9+. I highly recommend if you're looking for a non magnetic vent mount.

Finally a stable phone holder!

I have gone through several phone holders, most of them were too complex and added bulk, so at the slightest bump of the SUV the phone would crash to the ground creating a dangerous situation not to mention the risk of a phone break! Basically this design is simple, sturdy and minimal. The best part is the TWO prongs to hold onto the vents which the others were lacking. It stays on tight and its easy to put your phone in and out with just one hand while driving if needed.. thanks !

It works perfectly

Single-handed operated, instantly on and off phone holder just like what I am looking for, plus the rubber-like material vent gripper makes it very easy to install, firmly hold, and won't damage your car vent blade, very thoughtful design yet a reasonable price. Recommend it.

Great value, nearly invisible, portable and very stable

Pros: Ridiculously easy to mount unit on air vent (1 second) Fairly easy to mount phone on clip (1 - 2 second) Extremely stable even on dirt roads and potholes Aesthetically pleasing... The mount is invisible except for the small phone side holders Does not scratch phone, although I use a clear case Extremely Portable: fits in pocket, use it for rental cars as well as my own car Fits every phone in my house (main ones are 6" Pixel 3 and 5" Moto x4) Excellent value for money Cons: Clipping and releasing phone does need a little force to push open the spring loaded clip (but I'm disabled with limited right hand strength and have little to no difficulty with it) Not for every car... Depends on having a vent ideally near eye level (but have yet to rent a car with an usable vent) May partially block air vent when phone clipped in (but, of course, the car will have other vents)

Easy to use like a magnetic mount

Because I use the wireless charger on my iPhone XS, the metal plate magnetic mount isn’t an option anymore. Went through a few different phone holders but this is as close to a magnetic phone holder as you can get. One hand operation to get the phone on and out of the spring loaded rubber grips. The grips in the rear that hold on to the vents are also soft rubber materials. Prevents scratches or damage to the vents.

iPhone 6S

The holder is easy enough to press onto the vent slats on a BMW i3 and a Prius V. It holds tight and will not fall off. The mechanism to hold the phone is simple and only one hand is needed to insert the phone in the holder. It can hold the phone either horizontally or vertically and no acceleration, braking, or rough roads will dislodge it. The holder has a little space between it and the vents so air from the vents can pass around it. However, expect the phone to approach the temp of the air from the vents. I like that the holder is close to the vents because the closeness minimizes the strain on the vents created by the weight of the phone.

Two vent grips are better than one

I've had a couple of vent phone holders for a while and their single grip which attaches them to the vent is unavoidably their Achilles' heel. Yes, it allows to easily rotate and tilt the phone but they are also somewhat prone to slipping off the vent when handled with less than the utmost delicate touch. This phone holder has two grips and it feels solid and reliable. How often do you need to tilt and rotate them anyway? Once you find the optimal position, you stick to it, right?

Great product especially for the price.

This is a great car clip if you don't want to install anything permanent like a magnet. It fits both my phone (iphone x) and my mom's phone (Iphone 6sPlus) with ease. It fits perfectly in my vent and swivels easily, it holds the phone snug without falling out and it's easy to put the phone in/take it out even with one hand. I bought this to replace the five dollar vent clip I got at walmart where the rubber on the clip separated after 6 months. For only five dollars more, this product was a great buy.

Best Clamp-Style Vent Mount, So Far

Very sturdy and stable vent grippers on back. Will not fall off vent, even mounted in angle with one gripper 100% clinched on and the other about 50%. The spring holding phone is not a heavy spring, yet the design and choice of material somehow make the grip much stronger than expected. This is good for mounting phone with one hand. Holds my phone very well, but my phone is a thin phone (Pixel 2XL) with an ultrathin minimal case (similar to Peel), so your experience may vary. Feels much more premium than other vent phone mounts I've owned.
