Works out of the box
Very simple assemble. Very easy to connect to the television. It is mounted on a J pole about 25 feet off the ground. We had an FCC map of digital stations and pointed the antenna in that direction when we put it up. The television we have scans for stations. It locked in 56 stations. The local PBS station was 5 bars easy. The majority of stations are 86 miles away and it pulls 2 to 3 bars. We tried the rotation device and it does turn the antenna easily and we could fine tune the signal. The stations further away are marginal. In all fairness, if I put an effort into putting the antenna higher in the air, I could probably pull the signals in. The antenna just went through a good storm and seems to be fine. We haven't had it very long so I have no idea on how it will function over time. We were curious to see how it matched up to cable television. The picture quality is the same so we were pleased with that. This antenna is ok for us, was inexpensive and easy to put into service. And we were impressed that just sitting a foot above our roof, it gets very good results.

121 Channels Crystal Clear in Riverside CA without rotating!
I suspected “one factory, many stickers” manufacturing on this as I’d bought a lookalike last year. It wouldn’t rotate, and even with it inside I got a decent channel selection. I picked the Vansky as it had the lowest cost. Assembled and tested indoors fine so I mounted it outside on my eave. Pointing”away” from the metro area I channel scanned and got 121 channels at a height of only 10’ above grade. My prior much larger antenna at 25’ above grade only got 81 channels, many of them intermittent and highly dependent on antenna orientation. Just for a lark, I went and hooked up my controller box to the old antenna I boughtlast year: worked perfectly! Guess tje other brand shipped a bum controller box so now I’ve got a spare antenna.

6 tvs using previous cable lines.
I like the fact that the antenna is small and Sleek looking. It was easy to assemble and I sat down and did it within about 10 minutes. The unit does kind of fancy and cheap but obviously that's what I paid for, so I opted to put it in my ass versus putting it on the roof. I live in Michigan so I do not think it would survive heavy snow in below-freezing temperatures, but also I do not know this I just do not want to take the risk. It does not come with a base or pole to install on, you must purchase your own seperately. The best part about this is that I installed it in the attic and this the wire back down to my basement where my old cable lines had coming to my home and I connected it directly to a 5 way splitter. My Splitters then ran throughout my house that were already there to each room and then there was also one other splitter because I have many rooms and I have six TVs total. I'm happy to tell you that I get cable on all six TVs running all this wire and splitters. I get 28 channels on my main TV that's closest and 25 channels on all other TVs in the home. If you're looking just to get local channels with news so you have something to play in the background other than Netflix or Amazon than this is perfect. The Price is Right and you get your local channels for your local news. I did look up to see where all the towers were and I and my antenna directly in the middle and I will not be moving my antenna at all after I put it in it will be stationary.

Very pleased with Product and Excellent Customer Support
I purchased this as a backup should I loose signal from my satellite provider. I wasn't really sure what to expect in terms of video quality or even number of channels I could pick up in my area. When the product arrived I tested it by connecting it with a TV and aimed the antenna out the window. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the signal and that I was able to see 18 channels. I proceeded to install this in my attic and ran a coax cable to a nearby TV. Once the install was complete I tested the signal as now I am able to see 26 channels. I then began testing the other functions - in particular the remote to control direction. This is where I ran into an issue. As soon as I installed the batteries the antenna began rotating. At first I thought it was some sort of self test but the antenna would not stop spinning around. The only way to stop it was to unplug power from the amplifier. I notified the MFG and they sent me a replacement right away. Swapped it out and everything is working fine now.

Works Great!!!!
Our friend told us about how pleased he was with this product. We were skeptical at first because we are in a remote area that does not usually have good reception even on cell phones. Since it seemed economical enough to try, we took a chance. We wanted it for our detached garage and it does great so far and we don't have it mounted outside yet. Right now it's in the attic and we have a metal roof and we are still able to get quite a few channels. Once it's outside, I'm sure we'll get more. It already surpasses what we had hoped for. Easy to assemble and install. Pleased so far !

NEED TO PROGRAM THE TV TO GET YOUR CHANNELS.
I found a problem with instructions! .How to assemble is good, but how to scan the TV and include channels, hopefully it may be from TV manufacture. Any way my TV Sony 2019, 4K HDR. I FOUND IT WA SNOT THE ANTENNA PROBLEM IT WAS THE SETUP ! IF ANY ONE GOT THIS TV ' PRESS TV ON REMOTE SCROLL DOWN ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM FOR SETTINGS.. This portion is hiding all the way to the bottom which I couldn't see IN THE INITIAL SETUP AND I RETURNED ONE ANTENNA. IF YOU DON'T SCROLL DOWN YOU YOU WONT SEE IT.WILL KEEP RETURNING THE ANTENNA! technical SUPPORT I GOT COULD'T FIND THE ISSUE. I AM NOT BLAMING HIM HE WAS A NICE GUY HELPING. I GOT THIS ANTENNA AND INDOOR ONE A DIFFERENT BRAND. BOTH I AM KEEPING. SO ANY ONE USING WITH THE TV I TOLD YOU, GO TO SETTINGS AND FIND OUT SCAN CHANNELS AND ADD UP CHANNELS OF YOUR PREFERENCE. IT WORKS, I GOT FOX CBS MANY MOVIES EVEN THOUGH I DON'T WATCH IT. I USE A SPLITTER AND BOTH ANTENNAS ARE CONNECTED TO THE TV.THANKS FOR READING.

Works Great - Great Value
I spent 6 months researching good antennas to cut off cable, finally i bit the bullet and did it. Initially i was going with the top end 4max for about $130, then i decided why not try this for 80% less $$$ ... worst case i could send it back? Assembly took about 10 minutes, then i found a 1 inch diam pvc pipe to attach it to my garage rafters with a clamp to test it out quickly, and hooked up to existing cable runs..... worked crystal clear!, about 51 stations, my tv towers are about 40 miles away, for some channels i just tap the remote to move it a bit. Note1: The remote is line of sight, needs to see the power box. Note2: It's staying in the garage rafters! ... why move it outside which would just cost me more and be concerned with a Florida lightening strike. Note3: Instructions for seating the deflectors (top and bottom) are not that good.... there are two moveable pieces on the main unit, bring them together (ie pinch them together with your fingers), lift the deflector up, then move them apart one at a time to lock the deflector in place. Note3: Saved over $100 buying this antenna, saving $1000 a year on my cable bill.

Much better than expected
I was very pleasantly surprised with this antenna. After ordering it I found AntennaWeb.org and when I plugged in my location it said I might get 3 channels but only if I put it at least 30 ft off the ground. I thought about cancelling the order but decided for the price I'd give it a try. I'm sure glad I did! I installed it about 18ft high and I get 35 crystal clear channels and that's without even rotating the antenna!! I haven't bothered to check in other directions yet. The nearest broadcaster is 55 miles away. If I have any negative it would be that there is nothing to tell me what direction the antenna is pointing so I am just rotating it blindly but considering the price I am amazed that it even includes a rotor! It does appear pretty flimsy and only time will tell how it holds up to the weather but for 1/3 of 1 months Direct TV bill I have added over 30 free channels! It is well worth the money. Now if they could just make them invisible.

WE CUT THE DISH
This is our second purchase...one is at our lakehouse WAY out in the boonies. The antenna worked so beautifully out there we had to get one for our house. Not wanting to climb on the roof, we hired someone to take down our satellite dish and install the antenna on the dish's pole and after replacing a short bit of damaged coax cable, hooked it to the existing cable in our home. We can now view 38 */- local channels on three TVs in our home (2 at a time but it seems all 3 will work at a time). On days 2 and 3, we had some pixallating on a local channel that has an extremely low VHF frequency but after that we have had no problems, and even pick up several channels that the different web sites say that no way no how will we ever pick them up. At our lake house we actually get more channels. We are very pleased with this antenna. Note that it WILL pick up very low VHF frequencies and most will not. We subscribe to Netflix, Amazon Prime and are happily trying out Hulu....with all of those streaming services and this antenna we have MORE to watch and are saving $60 a month from what we were paying the satellite crooks.

Cut my cord with this gem.
Wow! What a product! This antenna allowed me to cancel my FiOS TV and save over $80 per month. I mounted it in my attic using the available mounting pole (separate purchase) so I can’t comment on how it holds up in the weather. The power amplifier works over about 80 feet of RG6 and through a two DC pass through splitters. Red light on the antenna was exciting to see when I had everything routed and all hooked up. I’ve had crystal clear TV for more than two months in all kinds of weather. Transmitters are on average 25 miles away. I previously had little luck with the flat antennas mounted near the tv. An elevated mount is your friend here for the best reception. I am so pleased with this one. It more than paid for itself the first month. I highly recommend it.
