New home, new FIOS internet, and now signal strength is 3 bar for both 2.4 & 5 GHz in every room

Every review was great and so was the price. My Verizon tech recommended Net Gear; however, I shopped Amazon and was impressed with all the reviews, price, and features related to easy setup and 2.4 & 5GHz Dual Band WiFi Extender with Gigabit Ethernet Port. This product was simple to setup. Just plugged it in near the main router, pressed the WPS button and after 5 seconds having all 3 blue lights, just relocated the Extenders with one on each floor of my new home. Just remember to keep the extenders centralized on each floor and they work perfect. When I tried moving them all the way to the opposite corner of the house, the red light signal showed it was too far away. Now when going out of my office to test the WiFi strength settings on my laptop or iPhone, the options are FIOS 5G with 1 bar signal strength, FIOS 2.4 with 2 bars, and now FIOS 2.4EXT with 3 bars and FIOS 5GEXT with 3 bars in every room of the house. Simple installation with great results at a great price!

Great product, works like it should

I highly recommend this WiFi Repeater. It has a better range and is easier to set-up than the Linksys AC1900 Gigabit Range Extender. I've owned both. The WPS button works well when paring the Rock Space with the Linksys WRT 1900ACS router. Just plug the Rock Space in an outlet within 6ft to the router you are pairing it with and wait until to PWR led light is solid blue. Press the WPS button on the back of the Linksys router then within 2min press the WPS button on the Rock Space WiFi Repeater. When the blue led lights stop blinking the two are paired for 2.4GHz . Repeat the process to pair for 5GHz, it's THAT spimple! Unplug the Rock Space and move it half way between the Router and the dead zone. I have a 2,200sq/ft brick home with plaster walls and now get a solid 5 bar signal everywhere on the 5GHz band in my home.

Five stars easy set up!!! Works perfect

I bought the above product from Amazon to help eliminate some dead spaces in my house. I was hesitant because of so many products to choose from and so many have reviews where the buyer was paid to review it. I paid full price for this item on amazon and did not receive compensation. So it’s a real verified review. House is 2500sqft plus with walkout basement/living areas and 2 bedrooms. Our house is in a mountainous area by the lake. We use the WiFi connection to run fire sticks on the tv, business, school, home play etc. the basement had zero WiFi and cell coverage. The back bedrooms had dead spots for WiFi. We bought this to help with that problem. It was very very easy to set up if YOU READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS! I followed them and set up was done in minutes with complete coverage in the bedrooms and in the basement. Plus added bonus was to both decks. It solved my issues and I have been using it for the weekend with zero issues and good coverage. I would absolutely recommend this product for someone looking for a way to solve the same problem.

I was a little hesitant to buy this product based on the fact that there were no previous reviews on Amazon! It was a good price for what I needed, as my old one burned out on me. We have a fairly large area that needed extended, and I wasn’t going to spend hundreds (or close to) on a wireless extender. The setup was very, very easy...it took a little longer than it really would have normally because I had to do a reset in the middle of my install...ALL my fault—I just didn’t start initially setting up close enough to my router! Despite this minor setback, it still only took about 10 minutes or less! I’ve connected all our devices and tested it, and so far, so good! I’ll update later if it ever quits on me or becomes spotty! I have noticed that I’m on the extender at 2.4 ghz. I thought I had read that it would extend the 5ghz, but I honestly don’t know! I’m unsure on how to change not only that, but also how to change the network name AFTER the fact. After setup, it gave me not only one network EXT, but two EXT networks. I don’t know what the difference is as they’re named the same thing! You’d *think* it was 2.4 vs. 5 ghz, but they’re both named 5ghz. So other than that little confusion, it’s totally fine! It’s doing what I need it to do!! ;)

Great WiFi extender...install couldn’t be more simple!

I usually don’t purchase products with only 9 5-star reviews but all of them seemed legit. Once I received the WiFi extender it literally took a minute install using the WPS connection. Once it was dialed in connecting my devices was a snap. This immensely helped the signal to the bedroom TVs which are at one end of the house and the WiFi router at the other. Just received and installed today 10/28/18 but will update if anything changes but so far so good.

This is actually the third type of extender that I have ordered (I returned the first two because they either were very cumbersome to use or did not reflect their description in the Amazon listings) and I have found that it is wonderful in both of those categories, and also works really well. I would recommend it to anyone. Easy to set up, works as promised, and is a really good value for the cost!

A Great Product to Extend Wi-fi Signal Around Your House

My router is located at the back portion of the house and I wanted to leave it that way since moving it in the middle of the house to extend signal up to the second floor and up to the front portion of the house requires a long and different type of wires to run around from the router to the television (AT&T requires the cable box attach to router), as well as to my other ethernet unit attach to it (Hue Bridge, Extra TV router, Apple Devices, etc). Having this product plug into my living room area makes a difference. My Nest camera no longer lags. My wifi signal upstairs significantly improved. Just remember that this unit will assign a different wi-fi name similar to your home wi-fi but with additional _EXT extension. You have to connect your unit to the newly assigned wi-fi address to take advantage of the signal boost. Happy surfing.

Easy

This was my first product buy for Rock Space. I can say first hand that if I can follow these instructions so can you!! Easy set up and works like a champ. SEVERAL options out there but this product was small, affordable, low key and easy to set up. Very powerful as well..... Easy to say I would buy again.

Easy setup and reliable WiFi expansion

We just moved and in the new house I needed a way to extend the WiFi so my TP link bulbs would work outside. I went to the local big box stores and saw the WiFi extenders started at 79 and up so I decided to try Amazon. I found this one for much less and it was offered as free one-day prime shipment. It did come in one day and the instructions included made setup a breeze. The extender did just what it advertised and all is well in again in our “smart” home thanks to this!

Works great - simple install

Bought this range extender to help get my home's wifi signal from the 2nd floor to the basement. I had noticed that many similar products all had five star ratings, but none of them were verified purchases so were clearly fake. This product had actual reviews from actual purchasers. I've tried other extenders in the past from local big-box stores and none of them ever worked. This one was the easiest, fastest install ever. Literally took 5 minutes tops and we were up and running with computer and internet TV in the basement. Would highly recommend
