Love it
Works as said, and great. the difference between this and the more expensive standing desks........ there isnt, set up was easy and I did it all myself (1 person). I am loving the desk, I have had other brand names and in my opinion there is no difference.

I love this desk!
Maybe I have ants in my pants, but I’ve always found it difficult to sit in front of a computer for very long. I get jumpy, then tired, and generally want to run screaming from my office. Though I admittedly still want to run screaming at times, it’s not from being trapped in my chair. Assembly wasn’t too terrible, though I won’t say I enjoyed it. The finished desk however is awesome. I’ve got a large iMac on my desk along with its accouterments, and at the touch of a button I can go from sitting to standing or anywhere in between. I programmed the preset buttons to my preferred sitting and standing heights, making them one push adjustments, but I also find the I use the fine adjustment up or down on a regular basis depending on what I’m doing. It’s amazing what an inch or two difference in the height of your work surface can do to combat fatigue. Given the extremely reasonable price of this desk, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new desk. I would add only that some consideration is necessary for the accommodation of wires to and from the desk. Particularly many of my power cords where not long enough to stretch from the floor outlets to a standing desk position. I overcame this by placing my UPS power supply (it’s cord long enough to do the job, on the back corner of the desk to travel up and down with the desk. At first I didn’t like the extra clutter, but have come to enjoy the easy access to both power and USB charging outlets at my fingertips, standing or sitting.

Definitely worth the price
I did a lot of searching for an adjustable height desk. My employer provided our team with adjustable-height desks a couple years ago. I found the ability to sit or stand and work comfortably at my desk with the press of a button is not only convenient, but good for folks like me who have battled back problems for decades. So, I decided I wanted the same convenience when working from/at home. The price for most electric-based desks was more than I felt I could justify, but this SHW model was markedly cheaper than all the others I came across. I made the purchase, half-wondering if I was gambling, but the unit is exactly what I was hoping I'd get. The assembly was surprisingly easy (and I usually relegate all things assembly to my son). The desk is sturdy and works great. The four programmable buttons can be set for chair-sitting, upright standing, or anything in between. I worried the max height might not be tall enough when standing, but the worry was wasted. I'm just under 6 feet and the desk surface, at just under max height, works perfectly for me. I've stored three heights in its memory, one for sitting in a chair, one for standing upright, one for sitting on a bar stool, and still have one to spare. The four-foot-wide surface area handles my laptop, external keyboard, and a 22+" drawing monitor. When it arrived, the box looked too narrow, but I'd already read that the top board comes in two pieces. Since the joining is width-ways, I don't even notice it. I've only been using the desk for a couple days, but my back says the desk is definitely worth the price.

Amazing find! Do yourself a favor and buy it!
I have severe degenerative disk disease in my lower back and cannot sit for very long, which is very inconvenient for my desk job. When my job became virtual recently, I needed to find a movable desk for my home. I was looking at manual (hand crank) desks in the $300-500 range, because the $1000+ range for motorized desks was a little steep. I looked at several before coming across this one, which I almost passed by because of the price, thinking theres no way I'd get the quality I need for this price. I stopped on it because of the reviews. They all said the same thing, they almost didnt get it because of the price, and were pleasantly surprised. I trust reviews more than any other information on these pages, so I tried it. I love this desk!! It's sturdy, it's pretty, it fits all of my work equipment - 2 large monitors and my laptop, dock, keyboard, mousepad planner, etc. It has 4 memory settings. The motor is smooth, no bouncy or jiggly movements you'd expect with a cheap motor. It's really well built! To say um pleasantly surprised is an understatement. If I had to give one drawback, it would be that the motor is a little loud, but for me that's a non issue. I can't say enough good things about this desk.

Can't beat the price and works great
For an amazon shipped stand up desk this has to be the best price wise. I will note that it's a little small width wise depending on your desk setup. Another 10 inches would have been nice. Also I messaged them for the memory settings and usage. Going to include it below: Initialization Process: Press and hold the “UP + DOWN” Keys for 4 seconds. The LED Display will start to flash “000” and the table will slowly lower at the same time. After the table reaches the lowest height setting, the controller will beep twice. Initialization is now complete. If you stop pressing/holding the Keys during initialization, the initialization process will stop and fail to complete. The LED Display will show “- - -“. If the initialization process succeeds, the LED Display will be cleared. Memory Settings 1 - After initialization, press and hold the “UP” and “DOWN” Keys to adjust the table height. 2 - Press and hold (M + Memory #). The LED will flash twice. 3 - The current height will be saved to that Memory #. 4 - Quickly press a Memory # to check its height setting. 5 - Press and hold a Memory # to manually adjust the table height to that memory setting. Let go to stop. 6 - Double-click the Memory # to automatically adjust the table height to that memory setting.

Easy Assembly
I am in the same boat as the original reviewer. I was very skeptical buying something without review, so I figured I should leave a review :) Packaging was very good, everything kept put during shipping. I was a little put off that the assembly instructions were all pictures, and yet it was very simple. Initial operation is going well. I will be adding all of my components tomorrow and will update my review if needed.

Great deal one month in
I've had this desk for a month and it's great. I work remotely and a standing desk has been tempting but I never wanted to spend the money. Assembly went smoothly -- I gave myself a half hour away from work to put it together and ended up needing a full hour. All the parts were clearly labelled, including screws separated in individual bags for each size. The instructions were quite clear. The motor moves the desk smoothly and so far hasn't had any issues. I love the range of motion, from a comfortable sitting position to "way too high" for me at 5'11". I have a couple favorites programmed but mostly I just go with what feels good each day. The top of the desk isn't going to win any awards for appearance, and there's a seam going across the middle where the two halves come together (it's how they get away with such a small shipping box). But it's sturdy as heck and has plenty of room for my two-laptop & monitor/mouse/keyboard setup. I have a 2'x1' mouse pad under my keyboard & mouse which makes working on it a joy. I plan to revisit this review at the six month mark and I'll let you all know how it's working out!

Exactly what I wanted
This desk is exactly what I needed for my home office. I had an Ikea Kallax desk before. It was 30"deep which meant my monitors were pretty far away and obviously I couldn't stand at it. I had looked at st some desktop convertor, but decided for almost the same price I should just get the desk. I love the presets, it's very smooth and pretty fast. I find myself standing for almost half my day now. I wanted a white desk since most of my other office furniture is white, but the white one I found was $100 more with no presets. This actually looks good though with my card catalog. I have my monitors mounted and it still seems very stable. I ordered a desk mounted cable manager from Ikea (was already ordered kallax accessories) to hold all the power bricks for the things on the desk.

Surprisingly Well Made
This desk is very well made especially for the price you pay. I've been shopping around for a standing desk for a while and there are desks for twice this price that are equal to or even worse quality than this desk. The wood is nice and solid and the 4 hight adjustment save slots are great for having different positions saved for ease of use. Once you save a height you like you just double push the button and it goes right to that height. It's great! I highly recommend this desk to anyone.
