First I had my doubts when I purchase it, but after a few games I was like wow. This thing is really good and for a reasonable price. I’m not a big fan of the original small red & blue controllers so this product helped me play super Mario like a pro again lol :) Recommend!

My kids are always on their switch, so I thought this would be a good purchase for them. The boys were so excited once they saw the controller, and immediately went to town playing with it. The controller is very sturdy, and I noticed that it fit perfectly in their smaller hands, and they were excited every time they felt the small vibrations. My older son said it made playing so much easier. The only thing I noticed is that they kept trying to turn the switch on by the controller like an xbox, but after a few times of explaining they understood that it does not work that way. Other than that it was a great buy for a low price, and I got “cool mom points” for this one!

The EALNK controller is a great value. The original equipment Nintendo Switch controllers are well designed and ergonomic, albeit a bit small -- probably engineered for younger hands. But, they are of excellent quality and always work. I will admit I had lower expectations for the EALNK wireless controller since it is approximately 25% of the price of the original equipment Nintendo alternatives. Indeed, the materials or fit/finish is not extraordinary, but for the price, they are great. I was surprised at how easily the controller paired with the Switch -- I fully expected to have issues getting the two to connect. However, within a few button presses, the controller was linked. I then expected to have issues with the various states of connection (e.g., with original Switch controller connected first and then attempting to connect the EALNK as controller #2, or using the EALNK controller as the primary controller, etc.). However, I was pleasantly surprised that the EALNK has connected flawlessly. It does NOT appear to be able to power up the Switch independently (e.g., when everything is off, pressing the home button on the original controller boots the Switch -- the EALNK does not seem to do this). This means you have to walk up to the console in the dock and press home on that... but from there, there are no issues. Regarding the controller itself, it is definitely larger in the hand than the original Switch controller. It may take a bit to get used to the feel/layout... but I now find I prefer it to the smaller size of the original Switch controller. Also, though it is a bit large in his hands, my six-year-old son can use this controller -- he ends up resting it partially in his lap. Consider this if you are purchasing for a wee-one. The buttons have a decent feel, though I would say the control sticks are a bit stiff compared to the original controller. They also don't seem to have a progressive/exponential tune-- they are more linear. Yet, you get used to it quickly. After approx. 10 hours of play, I can't say the EALNK has missed any inputs. The range also seems slightly better than the original controller (which tend to drop out if you sit more than 15-20 feet from the console as we do in our Family Room). I am still on the original charge of the battery, as well -- which was also a surprise. The EALNK has been solid. BOTTOM LINE: great value for a wireless controller for the Switch.

I have taken some photos to provide a closer look. Nice grip, features rigid sticks that provides good control. Button layout is pretty much spot on, just as I expect. The thumbsticks feel great and the buttons have a good feeling to them. The controllers themselves feel nice and sturdy, as if they can stand up to a lot of late nights playing.

My 6 year old son is so excited! This is easier to use then his regular switch remote! His little Brother likes using it too!! The battery life is great!

I purchased two of these remotes. We have been using them for a couple of weeks now. So far they have been working great. They were very easy to connect to the switch. I have not had any issues connecting the remotes to the switch since they were paired the first time. Battery life is pretty good so far. I believe I have only charge twice since purchasing with some pretty good usage. Let’s see how good they hold up in the next few months. If something comes up I’ll try and update this. Update 1-22-2019 Remotes still working great. No connection issues so far. Have only paired them to Nintendo switch first time and have not needed to be paired again since that first time. We’ve only used them on the switch, unknown what other devices it may connect to at this time. Maybe see other people’s comments and product description for further info on that.

A very good choice instead of the Switch pro controller. 1/3 of the cost with all the same features. Slight changes on the D pad and the XYAB button position that gives the controller a different feel then what your accustomed to. The biggest change was the L2 and R2 buttons. They are missing the traditional longer button style, but since the controller feels different to begin with, it's not a big problem when you get the hang of it. The controller also has 3 rumble settings not mentioned in the instructions. Off, low, and high rumble. It was super easy to pair with my switch, and I love the feel of the 2 Playstation like thumbsticks. (I was never an Xbox guy). Well worth the money.
