Best case I’ve ever owned!

For the price I paid, this case can't be beaten. I own an iPad 5th and an iPad 6th, and it’s great to get this case to suit both. I’ve used it for some time and feel it’s nice. Pros: + The item is so lightweight than I imagine. I took my iPad here and there for work, so it makes my life much more comfortable. + The case surface is smooth and not easy to leave fingerprints, the main reason that I returned my last case is it was easy to get different kinds of prints. I always choose black case because black is the easiest one to keep clean; however, my last case failed. I’m glad this one is as what I expected. + The 360 rotatable feature is the most useful I’ve ever met. It allows me to share my screen with others very easily; also it can meet my other requirements in using iPad for working or entertaining, nice idea to have this feature in an iPad case. + The keyboard battery lasts long that I’ve been using the keyboard for over a week since my last charge and it’s still alive. And there is a way to check the battery life, convenient for me to use. + The backlight colors are beautiful and the light is bright. My last case also has a backlight, but it’s much darker, and the light is not that even like this one. My old one is like a kind of erratic thin light; this one has a whole circle of full light around the keys. + The keys are slightly recessed into the keyboard, so that they do touch the iPad screen, meaning I can close the case without too much carefulness, which is a pain when I want to close it and run to somewhere. + There is an extra area on the bottom of the keyboard to make your hands get a great rest and have easier typing time. + The keyboard offers shortcuts to the iPad functions that prevent my dirty fingers to touch the iPad screen to many times while I’m working. + The auto wake/sleep function is also a pro. Every feature is perfect- great quality

The perfect keyboard. Ordered Stealth Jet Black-revised keyboard layout from product page info-excellent. I have the 2018 IPad 9.7 inch. I did my research and this keyboard nailed every wish and want. Protects IPad -check. Does the 360 degree flip so I can use my iPad for reading and keyboard protected under iPad- check. Keyboard lights up when needed, off when not needed- check. Weight of iPad is counterbalanced with keyboard so no tipping-check. iPad does not move or shift off pivot point when touching screen and typing-check. Pivot point/hinge is sturdy and stiff, no movement after opening to type-check. Rubber feet on bottom so keypad doesn’t shift on tabletop-check. No keyboard delay AT ALL when typing-check. Case is not slippery or slick so I can carry it around without feeling like it will slip out of hands-check. This was such a great decision. I love this thing! There are so many options out there for IPAD 9.7 keyboards and I can’t believe I got absolutely everything I wanted. And the keyboard feel is awesome - it feels like my desktop and the layout is super intuitive. Now I have a portable laptop like device that will be perfect for business travel, as well as everyday use.

Great functionality and good quality case

I’ve had this case for a little over a month now and it’s been great so far. The keyboard feels pretty solid and I often find myself looking for the trackpad , I haven’t had to charge it yet since I got it. I got the purple case and was a bot worried that the color might be too bright, but its a darker plum color which was great for me. The case has started to show some scracthes on the outside (I tend to put my tablet along notebooks and chargers), however it’s not too noticeable and it shows that it is in fact keeping my device safe. So far the case is pretty solid and perhaps a bit heavy if one plans to use the iPad in tablet mode (it might or might not provide enough protection for the iPad in case of a drop, but I would not test that out). The 360 functionality is quite great, however I have noticed that when using the tablet in tent mode sometimes I need to turn the keyboard off, otherwise it will try to hide the on-screen keyboard.

What more could you want???

I have only had this new keyboard for a few days so I could not yet rank the battery life or durability, just the "versatility." I am not a stranger to keyboard cases having owned three or four from different companies. Every one of them lacked one or two features that "I would of liked to have had." This Yekbee covers all the bases and is very well built. This may not be a big deal to some but the majority of these cases have a right "shift" key that is the same size as the letter keys. When typing with any degree of speed, my little finger frequently misses that smaller shift key causing me to strike the key next to it, interrupting my flow and annoying me. The Yekbee solves this problem by having a uniform keyboard with all keys being uniform with regard to function and location. That includes having both "shift" keys the same (larger, as they should be) size. All of the function keys are appropriately grouped at the top of the keyboard according to intended function. The iPad side of the case can be set at any viewing angle and swivels to accommodate several different viewing/reading modes. How great is that design?? Don't get me wrong....I really liked the Note Kee case this one replaced. It had an aluminum body and was well designed except for the ANNOYING letter size "shift" key. Being aluminum, it would have probably survived being dropped better than the plastic Yekbee case but unless the Yekbee has dropped from the top of the Sears Tower, it most probably would protect the iPad and not sustained "significant" damage to it. All in all, this case is definitely a winner and if you are considering changing out your case, you would do well in selecting this Yekbee! I'll update later re the "battery life" and "durability."

The “CASE” for not purchasing a new laptop!

This keyboard case is very well made and comfortable to handle. Typing is exceptionally easy even considering that the keyboard is smaller than most laptops. If you rather not invest in a more expensive laptop, I found that by purchasing the new 2018 iPad 6th generation and this particular keyboard worked out to be much less expensive. The keyboard allows you to type comfortably assuming your hands aren’t especially large (this might be its only drawback in my opinion). Also, the ability to be able to turn the screen of your iPad by 360 degrees can be invaluable. The case besides it’s use as a keyboard, allows you to twist the screen easily to watch videos etc. or flattens out if you choose to draw with the Apple Pencil. Its functionality is absolutely incredible. Overall, this keyboard is an excellent choice as an accessory for the newer 9.7 in. iPads.

WOW!

WOW! I am so impressed with this iPad keyboard/case. I have been looking for the perfect one and have finally found it! This case is AMAZING. Here are some of my favorite parts about this keyboard/case: 1 - It fits my iPad perfectly and is slim and sleek AND protects my iPad from falls & drops! 2 - The backlit keyboard is so neat! There are tons of colors to choose from. 3 - The 360 degree display is AMAZING. I didn't know this existed! I love that I can turn the screen if I want to share something with others. 4 - This case/keyboard is very versatile. You can use it as a keyboard, tablet, and even as a stand for watching movies! Most iPad keyboards are just a keyboard - I love that you can use this in a variety of ways! 5 - The case is made well and is great quality. It is not cheap or flimsy like many other iPad cases I have seen in the past. This keyboard/case is very durable! 6 - The case is affordable! So many cases are $$$, but this case is a great deal and you are getting an amazing product! All in all, I HIGHLY recommend this iPad keyboard/case to others. I am even thinking of buying it as a Christmas gift for family/friends :). I always get so many compliments when people see my iPad keyboard/case!

The BEST case/keyboard ever!! Nothing is wrong with it!! Perfection!! It does all it claims to!

This case/keyboard absolutely is the BEST!! It surpassed what I expected, and made my new IPad a laptop too!! I was worried about the color, but its beautiful! The battery life is fantastic, and the different colored lights on the keypad are perfect! I cannot say one thing bad about this case! It is so sturdy, and my IPad locked into place with no slipping or sliding. The bluetooth connection works great! Connects to the IPad quickly each time. If you are looking for the perfect case/keyboard this is it!! I was worried about the color because it was the only color available to get quickly, but its beautiful!! I also, let it slip off my lap onto floor and it protected my IPad very well!!

Now I’m sure - this is a great keyboard!

Original review follows, but see the update below: ORIGINAL REVIEW: I like the feel of this keyboard and have no problem with the right shift key as some have noted. However, it seems that my iPad (not the keyboard itself) experiences terrible battery drain and the iPad charges much slower with this keyboard connected. I’m going to investigate settings and use it a couple more days and see if this continues. I may have to return it. Note, I used my iPad for the last couple of years with a Logitech keyboard and never had this battery drain. UPDATE!!! I originally gave this keyboard three stars since the iPad battery drained down to 4% through the first night with no use at all. As I first stated, I never had this problem with my first keyboard. I searched further and found that I needed to change the iPad’‘s Display & Brightness/auto-lock setting. As soon as I changed that from Never to a set time (5 minutes is what I chose), the issue was resolved. Now I am very happy with the keyboard. I use the backlit keys at night which is why I ordered this model. All is well now and I would recommend the keyboard to anyone. I’m changing the rating to 5 stars.

Exactly what I was looking for in a keyboard case.

This is the fourth keyboard case I've bought for my iPad Air 2. After dealing with broken parts and not-quite-right features in the first three products, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. First, while plastic, the material is pretty sturdy. I don't feel like the frame will break if I need to remove my iPad, and the hinge is really solid. I've caught myself trying to bend it in the wrong direction accidentally a couple of times when I first started using it, and it held firm. I feel that I'd really need to intentionally force it to break it. The satin finish doesn't hold onto smudges, but I'm a bit worried that because it's plastic, it will develop scuffs and scratches. Second, the backlit keyboard is really nice. It feels great under my fingers and only requires a little bit of retraining because the 'delete' key is above the 'backspace' key (and gets hit accidentally by those of us more accustomed to using full-size keyboards). The color preference is saved between "sessions" -- an improvement over the last case I used; why would you let me pick a color if you're not going to remember it?? -- but it's not saved after turning the keyboard off via the switch on the side. The power switch is another plus. I like not having to worry about draining the keyboard battery every time I open the case. Previous cases I used turned on every time my iPad "woke up," or whenever it snapped into the magnetic strip that aligned it with the keyboard. I only turn this keyboard on when I need it. All in all, I love this keyboard case. It has all the features I want (and then some) and none of the drawbacks I've experienced with other cases.
