I used to use the strap that came with my camera and put it over to the side, this was short and always felt uncomfortable. With this strap that is made for being worn this way, I have my camera set to just the right level and can easily shoot pictures. Various settings to make it personal in where to hold and place your camera. It is comfortable and always in the right spot.

Just got it, so can't fully assess and give exact review, especially on durability, but overall material quality seems to be good, quite comfortable and the most important is carabiner lock with blocking pin, so it doesn't open outside (usually happens with time) and thread lock.

After careful review of other products like this I chose it because it has a carabiner with a screw built in to keep it closed. This keeps the strap from coming loose from the connection to the camera. Be careful when attaching the screw to the camera. The threads at the connection to the base of the camera are a "not quite" match as you would expect. Take it slow, don't force the threads to start and you will find that it is very secure when fully seated in the camera base. After adjusting the strap I found that the camera with both a regular and a telephoto lens hang very nicely at my side. The best part is that it takes the weight off my neck and allows me freedom to move, tour the sights and shoot pictures without feeling like I have a bowling ball hanging on my neck or worrying that I would forget my camera in a restaurant or somewhere.

I almost didn't order this after watching a YouTube video not rating it well. His complaint was trusting expensive equipment to the strap's (tripod) screw-in adapter. Well, they all mount this way! You can attach a safety cable to the camera's upper mount brackets if you need extra assurance. I needed a strap that kept the darn thing from riding up my shoulder and inevitably hitting my neck, and this underarm sling performs perfectly! I have another brand strap the drives me crazy with climbing up my neck. The strap feels secure, strong and plenty capable for handing my Canon 5D MarkII with medium telephoto lens. There is, of course, a limit to what you want to carry around with any shoulder strap system. My only complaint is the shortness of the strap length. I am only 5'8" with a, sort of, short body length and I'd like to have it a little longer even for me. I'd probably not recommend it for long bodies, or tall people.

Even though I haven't had the strap very long, it seems to be providing very nice ergonomic support, which is incredibly important when you have a camera in your hand for 5 hours in a row. The material is sturdy, and I do trust the weight of my DSLR on it. I really like the soft padding on the strap, it's very comfortable and doesn't dig in to me. I think it's going to save me a lot of neck and back strain, which is a huge issue with a conventional sling style strap. I'm super excited to see how I feel using this long term.

It's very comfortable and easy to put on. It has these little adjustable stops so you can set the range of slide that the camera can move on the strap. I can easily let the camera sit at my waist, then grab, shoot and back to hanging in a fluid motion. The underarm strap adds a layer of security that it's not going to fall off or be ripped off.

Very happy with my purchase. I went on an expedition cruise and this camera strap came in very handy. It was comfortable than the neck straps that came with my Nikkon camera. The adjustable strap made it easy to just grip your camera and point and shoot then let it drop down till your next photo shoot. I felt sorry for those wearing the cumbersome neck straps. This product makes it ergonomic and easy on your neck.

This is an absolutely wonderful strap. The wuality and look of it is excellent. I love the mounting design. The scew and mount are very thick making it durable and able to hold your camera securely. The angle of how the camera hangs it straight down. This make it so your camera hangs more naturally out of the way. Its really comfortable especially when compaired to any neck strap which caused me a lot of discomfort in my neck. Disconnecting the strap from the camera is quick and easy. its nice that altura also included a tether for added security. I don't use the pocket at all/ but it seems like a secure place for sd cads. The strap has a good range for sizing. Overall this strap makes camera movement so smooth and fast Best camera strap ever!

Have only performed casual use with it so far. I'm not a professional by any means. The most difficult aspect is remembering how to put it on. Bought it for an upcoming international trip because the strap that came with my camera (a6500) was VERY uncomfortable. This is very comfortable and keeps the camera at the ready without being in the way while walking around. Would recommend!

This is a great shoulder camera strap. Took me a few minutes to figure out how to use it, but once I figured it out, it felt very comfortable and easy to use. I much prefer this shoulder strap than the traditional neck strap. My camera is held secure and is easily accessible. I really enjoy using it.
