This computer is awesome, the setup was very fast, you just login with your google account and take a couple of minutes to set it up and you are running fast. Easy also to find apps on the marketplace to install.

Have the original Asus Chromebox and loved it.Jumped on the chance for a Chromebox 3.The entry level is just fine and love having it hooked to my 65 inch Sony.Speed, ease, and having the Google play store makes this the perfect all in one unit. After a month I downloaded the COG app and discovered it was only the 4GB unit. The seller was going to refund my money but I decided to keep the unit since it was already integrated in my home entertainment system.

I've owned two Chromebooks, so I'm settled into the Chrome ecosystem. They are getting on in years but function perfectly. Buying a third Chromebook simply for an upgrade seemed like a waste of money, but I was curious if a Chromebox with 8 gigs of memory would yield a performance upgrade. It really did the trick. Everything downloads faster, having lots of simultaneous programs running is smooth as silk, and my internet download speed even jumped from 180mbps to 400mbps. Obviously YMMV, but in my case I've had a serious upgrade in every area of the Chrome experience. I'd say if you're looking to kick start Chrome situation, this is money well spent.

I've been using this on a 4K display using a USB-C to DP cable. I often use it with two side by side windows, holds up really well streaming video at the same time as other work. I had pretty low expectations because it's so cheap but it ended up working well enough I mostly don't bother connecting my laptop to the display. I also use Linux and that works well, a big step up from that web based ssh client you use on older chrome devices. Overall very pleased with how it's working.

I am super impressed with this thing. Turns your high end set into a tablet that can access all those free streaming tv sites. It looks and sounds fantastic. Setup was easy and now my YouTube and smart watch are linked to the tv! Ditch cable Netflix all that.

Small footprint, quiet fan, inexpensive, does everything a PC does, no need for virus protection.

Love our Firestick by literally don't use it anymore. We have one of these on every large screen in our office and at our house. It's fully featured Chrome browser, and almost everything from Amazon videos, Netflix, Youtube, Youtube TV, etc, works much better than on their limited feature apps on devices like FireTV.

Familiar with Chrome OS from three Chromebooks and a 2-year old ChromeBox, I wanted a new Box for a monitor that I had lying around. This was the plug-and-play solution that I was hoping to receive. Set up with HDMI cable (not included), sign into Google account, and boom, in beeswax in 5 minutes. Note that, as of January 2019, the 8GB RAM model is only $20 more than the 4GB RAM model, so that is a no-brainer. The box in which it arrived indicated 8GB RAM, and was in new, sealed and unopened condition. The power button is oddly built-in to the corner panel; I literally for the first time in my life, had to look at the instructions to find the power switch. Haha! Works fast, I like the video card for general use (Youtube, Twitter/Tweetdeck, etc), keeps up nicely, not laggy. No regrets, a very fine Box for $269 flat. Much cheaper than a Mac Mini (I'm well into the Apple ecosystem with many devices, including my phone, but it's becoming increasingly hard to justify with Google's ecosystem becoming more dominant and easier to use every single day). This Box is a winner. Proceed with adding to Cart. :-))

Great little computer. It runs chrome OS obviously and looks cool and runs great for my needs. I wouldn't use this as gaming PC unless it's for like Google play store games. This pc in no means is really powerful enough to game on. It's great for daily use of checking emails on, watching some YouTube maybe or even Netflix or hulu too. Even doing some online shopping and web browsing too! It's like having a stationary chromebook. It's a desktop version of a chromebook, but with a slight bit more power give or take is how I'd describe this product. It's also pretty small too. Takes up almost no space at all.

I have a 3.5 year old Asus Chromebox with a Core i3 along with 6GB of RAM but it doesn't & won't get Android, so I bought this. So far, this Celeron processor and 8GB of RAM make it fast with no lag whatsoever. I'm not seeing a performance drop off from my Core i3. Love it. The Chromebox itself is larger than my previous one. It also connects by way of HDMI to my monitor and not DVI like my old one did. Much better than Windows.
