Love this thermometer...its got a strong built in magnet to stick it wherever its convenient...love the on off feature just by opening it up as i have ran down batteries on my other thermometers by forgetting to shut it off. I like the waterproof design as a little rain never stops me from grilling. And it has a awesome warranty..very happy

Need to use this for cooking steaks

Simple to use and works as intended. Use this mainly to cook steaks and it has helped me improve my cooking since buying this thermometer. Comes with 2 batteries and Velcro attachments to stick somewhere convenient. Also a plus that they include a bottle cap opener. So far temperatures have been accurate to my knowledge. Good value for money

Amazing for the price!

Less expensive, more accurate and more features. I bought this as my old instant read died (I paid something like $40 for that one) this one has more features (Hello Hold/Min/Max!) and is almost a quarter of the price! The magnet holds it securely to the fridge where it'll be with easy reach and the finger hole makes it easy to temp stuff further away if you don't want to stick your hand over the hot coals. I've only had it for about a week, but it's exceeding expectations!

Easy to Use

Found the device easy to use. I was using two other thermometer to monitor two seperate pork butts. When I got close to the finish temperature I used the Kizen Instant thermometer to obtain a second opinion on the internal temperature. The reading on the Kizen was quick but differ from the other thermometers by a degree or two. Not a big difference but still different. Now my questions is which one of the three is accurate. That said, the Kizen did give an instant result and that is why I bought it.

A bargain for what it does.

This thermometer is very FAST, accurate and very easy to use. Calibration feature is handy, although mine was right on the money out of the box. I don't see any reason to spend more on a different thermometer. I particularly like the sharp tip on the end of the probe which easily penetrates the food without any need to push very hard like some other units.

Nice Thermometer with great features!

I bought this as a gift for a buddy. He loves it! It's lighted, display flips to always read upright. It reads fast, can be calibrated, and most importantly it has a beer opener!!

Why did I wait so long?

For years I was using an old thermometer that I was not sure even worked. I was right! The first time using my new thermometer, I compared with the old one and was surprised how easy it was to use, how clear it was to see and how efficient it was! What was I waiting for? Thank you!

Great thermometer,i had one before that broke so i got this one to replace it, feels really heavy duty and works really well and i like that it comes with an extra battery.
