If you enjoy 'bubbly' water, you will appreciate this item. It's the whole package, so you get everything you need to get to sipping some delicious bubbly toot sweet. I noticed Bed Bath & Beyond had a deal with the machine, 2 CO2 cartridges, & 1 bottle (no flavors or 2nd liter bottle) on sale for $89 (as of 2/1/19), so you should probably price shop it before buying here. But the item itself does as stated, and quite well. You can pump more CO2 in for a more vibrant bubble, or less for milder fizz. There is no electricity required, so you don't have to use up those precious counter top outlets. Bottom line - best Christmas gift of the year for 2018.

What I needed to drink more water

Great idea and have seen my water intake go way up. The CO2 cartridge lasted about a month for two people, looking for a better/cheaper way to refill ...

This is the best thing I've bought in years.

We were drinking an embarrassing amount of LaCroix, so I decided to try this instead. It's perfect, easy to use, no problems, and I've found that I enjoy choosing my own flavors.

Great Stuff

We saw a sodastream at a dinner party we went to and picked one up for Xmas. Works just great, and the flavorings are surprisingly good and subtle --- tastes just as good as LaCroix! We are very happy with ours

Great product

A relative has this product and I enjoyed using it so I decided to order my own. The product itself is exactly what I expected, I've probably made about 40 bottles with it at this point and i'm still on the first tank, though I do keep the bubbles on the low side because I'm cheap. It's really not difficult to use, just screw the CO2 into the back like the instructions say then make sure you don't overfill the plastic bottles when carbonating it. I purchased this to help me drink more water and spend less on soda and it works great. I mix in a little 100% fruit juice and liquid stevia. I personally didn't like the flavoring that comes with it that much but I will admit it tasted exactly like a flavored sparkling water. Only downside is that I did have a problem ordering, it was missing one of the empty liter bottles and it took me a few tries to explain to customer service what I needed, however they did send me the missing bottle. Since I received it and the product works great, I am giving it 5 stars.

A Huge YES for Us!

We were spending lots on sparkling mineral water for me and flavored sparkling water for my husband and kids - Soda stream certainly looked like something to try and it has turned out to be a GREAT answer!!! It has cut down on our purchases of these beverages by about 90%. The other 10% are flavors kids want that we haven't been able to replicate. Maybe they need to experiment more. Me, I just like it plain and it works beautifully with filtered water from the fridge and using the LED lights to be sure I make it EXTRA fizzy, just how I like it! Don't be startled by the CO2 cartridge prices here on Amazon! Those are the retail prices, but Soda Stream DOES have a GREAT program through their site that allows for recycle and repurchase...MUCH, MUCH less expensive.

Great purchase

Overall, this has been a great product. Mine came exactly as advertised...3 bottles, machine, two cartridges and several flavor bottles. Customer service was excellent and very quick to get a hold of. I had to call them on Black Friday because I wasn’t getting the fizz indicating lights to illuminate. Only the first row was illuminating. They had me up and running within a few minutes. Apparently you want to release while the first row is still illuminated then press down again for more bubbles and so on. So far, I have made at least 30 1L bottles and my co2 cartridge is still going strong. Also, the Co2 cartridges are expensive and you get two with this purchase. They have a recycling program. Fred Myers, Target and many other retailers participate in this program. All you do is take your empty cartridges to one of these places or go through Sodastream.com and pay only $14 and change as opposed to almost double the price for a new cartridge. Amozon sells a two pack for $59.95. With the recycling program you pay $28 and change for two refills. I used to always have La Croix on hand. Now I pay less then half and I use my distilled water. There’s not too much to the machine...I wish the cartridge screwed into a brass or aluminum fitting instead of plastic. The instructions are very simple...pictures. The machine comes ready to go...all you need to do is insert the co2 cartridge and you’re up and running.

Stays fizzy!

I love this! There are options for how bubbly you like your water. I think that is not an option on many of the cheaper models. I was drinking a ton of canned seltzer so I’m saving a lot of $ but the best part is the water really stays bubbly for a long time. The canned seltzer seems to lose its fizz pretty quickly but this water is still fizzy many hours later even if it’s in a glass.

Lots of advantages to using SodaStream

Have been using the SodaStream daily for a week now. Both my wife and I like the flavors, the ease of use, and ability to adjust the taste and carbonation to our preferences. A big seller for me is that we no longer use so much plastic that comes in store bought sugar free carbonated beverages. We recycle every week, but we were using way too much plastic. So, there is a good environmental rationale for this product too.
