Saw that they had this for $49.99 plus a $5 discount for prime users, making it $44.99. I decided to order it even though my plan is good until May 2019. I got the product key, put into the Office website, and I'm good until May 2020. Took less time than to write this review. Office 365 is a steal IMO. The 1TB OneDrive alone is worth it considering Dropbox charges $150 per year for 3TB, which is way more than most people need. Might as well be a bazillion TB's and ALL you get is cloud storage and not all the must-have Office apps. Will be back soon to renew this.

This was the fastest purchase to download I have ever had the pleasure of purchasing. I previously bought through Google Express. What a joke. They took 10 business days to send me a key card that Best Buy never actually activated. Then I got runaround for 2 hours. They both lost a customer for life. Don't waste any time. Comes with all apps advertised and if you take a direct download key, Amazon links you to Microsoft website and keys in your code for you (assuming you have and are logged into your Microsoft account). There's even a feature for you to unsubscribe from automatic renewal billing. 6 minutes from purchase to activation. 5 star experience!

Microsoft extended this subscription to 13 months in exchange for signing up for auto-renewal. Subscriptions seem to be the way much software is being delivered today. I have other subscriptions and am generally satisfied with the cost and the way app updates are delivered to my PC's.

on 4-18-2019 I purchased the MS Office 365 home subscription and I used it for a year with no problems. On 4-20-19 I tried to use MS Word and it said my subscription expired. So on 4-20-2019 1 year subscription purchased Office 365 PERSONAL for 1 user on multiple devices on Amazon.com for $49.99. Do NOT have to delete and reinstall office 365. you just to log in and then you can start using the programs. easy peasy. note that buying on amazon.com was cheaper by $20 that buying on microsoft.com. the subscription is actually through microsoft.com but you pay for it on amazon.com. the download for MS Office 365 is from Microsoft, not amazon. You set up a free account on Microsoft and put your subscription info and then download the app. I use Office on 5 different mac computers and a couple PC's. I went with the Personal subscription this year because I did not see that option last year. there was a concern about losing data: word and excel documents (I don't use powerpoint but I suspect that is the same) are stored on the hard drive, not in the program so all of those files remain. I only had one item in the OneNote and it was still there when I changed from Home to Personal Office 365.

I am not sure why people are having a problem with this software through amazon. I loaded it on my laptop and my microsoft surface pro with no issues. I was having a lot of problems figuring out if the personal version could be loaded on laptop and my tablet, but it worked with no issue. It was priced $20 less here than through any of the retail outlets and again I had NO issue with it loading. Follow the instructions and you will be good.

After owning an iMac for over 10 years, I couldn't upgrade my software anymore. I was still using the 2004 version (stop laughing!). Any work I brought home converted to the old version, which drove me crazy. I finally purchased a new iMac and needed to load it with the latest Microsoft Office Suite. I was reluctant at first when I saw the one-star reviews, but I loved the initial cost, which was cheaper than Apple. Immediately after purchase, I received my key needed to download the software, which didn't' take long. I was shocked to see that the Microsoft Word icon on my Dock had a circle with a line across it. When I clicked it, it said that the software was not compatible with the PowerPC. I called Microsoft and had someone take control of my Mac to help me. Boy, did I feel stupid when I realized that I was clicking on the old version of Microsoft Office that I had transferred from my old Mac. Why am I telling you this? So you don't do the same thing. The very helpful Microsoft rep opened all my new Office applications and placed new icons on my Dock. I also opted for auto renewal so I don't have to go through this again. I couldn't be happier to finally be up to date with my 2019 version of Microsoft Office!

I buy a 365 annual subscription every year. Surprisingly, in the past the key card version has always been less expensive than the download version, so I've always purchased the key card. This year, though, it was less expensive to buy the download version. It was super easy to renew the subscription and I like that Amazon keeps the code on their website should I ever need it in the future Once I entered the code, the year simply stacked on top of the remainder of my previous year. It worked great.

I am surprised on how cheap the digital download is. Additional 5 dollars discount from PRIME is just super. My Office 365 HOME is expiring and I decided to downgrade to Personal version. I checked prices on Costco, Neweggs, Amazon, Microsoft and Bestbuy. 45 bucks for 1 year is a great value. I was confused at first on how to use this product code but its as easy as pie. Again, I already have 365 HOME and all products were installed on my PC. I am just updating my sub with new product code for another 12 months. Step 1: Purchase from Amazon Step 2: Go to Amazon Account / Digital content & devices / Games and Software Step 3: You will find your purchase here with a "GO to Office.com" button. Click on it Step 4: Log into your existing account and your sub will be updated. If you don't have account, than create one now. Step 4A: You are done now. If you are in doing what I did and switching from Home to Personal, I got a message after logging in. I was presented with 2 choices: 1) Stay with Office HOME but only get 9 months for this product key or 2) switch to Office Personal and get 12 months subscription. I chose #2 and my account was reflected with 1 year sub extension. I also got an email from Microsoft stating that I switched from HOME to Personal. Hope these minor details help some of you. =)

Worked perfectly, I didn't have any of the problems others have commented on. Amazon provided me with a key, I input the key on the Microsoft website, and my subscription was extended for another 12 months. It took me less than 5 minutes. This is the third time I have used Amazon to update a software subscription and it works like a charm!

Everything went as hoped for: Download link was available within a few minutes, Validated with MS account easily, And, most importantly, it gave me full installed (not online version) versions of what I needed (specifically Excel)
