Pet fountain

So far, so good with this pet fountain. Easy to set up and cat is already drinking more water. Purchased so my male cat would drink more water to help keep urinary issues at bay and it already is helping him drink more. He likes the running water feature from the flower fountain. My primary reason for choosing this fountain over all the others on Amazon was the warranty. Customer service is A+ and they guarantee replacement if anything goes wrong with the fountain. Cannot beat that for the price. Fountain is very quiet, actually peaceful with the soft sound of bubbling water. I like that it came with 3 filters also and holds a lot of water. So far, very pleased. Would recommend to anyone shopping for a pet fountain. :D

Makes my cats happy and they drink more!

Until we purchased this I had no idea how much the cats prefer moving water. Our 17 year old cat is much more alert and healthy than before as we think he didn’t drink enough out of the regular water dish and was somewhat dehydrated. Both cats love it. I didn’t even realize these were available until I cared for my brothers cats and he had one and said both the cats and small dog loved it. He was right!

Better Then 60 Dollar Competitors

My cat likes to drink out of the toilet. I bought her a 60 dollar stainless steel teardrop fountain which she never used- not to mention how loud it is. I tried closing the toilet to force her to drink out of it, but then she resorted to meowing next to the sink. So I asked my sister, who is a vet, what I should do. She suggested a flower fountain since cats are more inclined to drink out of them. After searching though 100 different flower fountains I chose this one due to the color and flower stem length. The only concern I had before buying was the ugly text font “Veken” on it. It arrived well packed with a silicon mat and two replacement filters. This thing is amazing. It is DEAD silent with the flower cap on, and without it it has a nice waterfall sound. Much to my delight, the times new Roman font was actually on a sticker- which I could easily peel off. My cat, even with the toilet bowl open, consistently chooses to drink from this. It’s been a life saver. I honestly do not have a single bad thing to say about this. 2 year guarantee, upped to three if you message them, cheap filters, completely quiet- this is incredible. And at a FRACTION of other high end fountains! You can’t get a better deal.

You need this is you have a cat

First of all, please get ANY pet fountain if you have cats. My vet explained that cats will not intentionally find water when they're thirsty. That's not how nature designed them (and this is why their pee stinks so bad -- it's often very concentrated). They are 'opportunistic' drinkers, so the more places they have to get water when they're thirsty the healthier they'll be and the less likely they'll have UTI & kidney problems! That being said, I'm really happy with this make of fountain. All my cats use it - I keep it on the second floor as they always have a bowl of water where their food is on the first floor. Some like to like the water as it comes off of the "flower" while others like the water in the top dish. Seriously, wouldn't you rather have fresh than stale water, too? The dog uses it also (and I SWEAR the cats give me dirty looks because, hey, she slobbers, so I do clean it out pretty frequently). This isn't to say my cats still don't help themselves to my bedside glass of water, but after learning how important it is to make sure they have multiple opportunities to drink when they're thirsty, I just try to remember not to take a sip from that glass in the morning!

The cats love it. Easy to fill and clean.

This replaces a well-used, ten year old fountain that had a detachable reservoir, the water ran down a slide into the bowl. The Veken takes up less space, holds more water, has fewer parts, is much easier to fill without spills, and is far easier to clean. We have three cats, all of which seemed to be most pleased by the falling water. Con: Doesn't have a way to see the water level. Pictured is Cayla, age six. She likes strangers, treats, kibble, eating the other two cats' food, sticking her head under water faucets, making funny noises while window hunting even though she can go outside and give hunting a try any time she wants, and waking up her mommy. Has yet to catch anything not stuffed with catnip.

motor quit after 3 months of use - updated review

My cat and I both love this cat fountain. It worked fine from 9-17-18 to 1-6-19. Dismantled/cleaned unit, put in storage as cat and I gone for 6 weeks. Came home, re-assembled unit, put new filter in, filled with water, plugged unit into wall outlet.....NOTHING!!!! Disassembled, cleaned again, made sure motor was clean, plugged back in....NOTHING!!! Had to order a new motor for the unit. Installed new motor today when it came...fountain again working beautifully. Somehow I think that a motor like this should last longer than 3 months!! What a waste of time and money...not to mention my cat was not pleased she had to drink from the dog's bowl! Update 2-22-19: Veken customer service contacted me after my original one star review, reminded me there was a warranty on the unit, apologized for the original motor failing and then refunded the money I spent on the new motor. Excellent customer service! They have a new customer for life!

Awesome! My cats LOVE it!!!!

I bought this for my moms cat because he loves running water. Her cat loved it so much so I bought one for my cat. It’s been out of the box for five seconds and he’s already drinking from it. It’s so cute! Very quiet. And holds a lot of water!
