Minimalistic design yet works stably with laptop on. The stand pretty much match with my MacBook Pro 15". It has rubber pads on the top part of the stand which protect the bottom of the laptop from scratching and one metal lip at the front, which also has rubber pads on it, stops your laptop from slipping. Besides, the laptop features a swivel base so you can easily adjust the screen to any view you want. I've bought several products from Lamicall I love their idea of simplicity and they're great convenience to my life. Will look froward more new design in the future. Thanks:)

This stand is really nice. It has a solid weight to it, the pads keep my laptop from getting scratched, and the metal keeps my laptop cooler than simply stacking it on some books. I think it's worth the $30 I paid for it, as I returned another stand that was $10 cheaper but not as solidly built. Two things to know before you buy: 1. The height is NOT adjustable. That was the reason I didn't buy this product first, as I was hoping to get a stand that could be either height adjustable or stand angle adjustable. The current height is fine, but if you're concerned about ergonomics, check the specs and see if the height fits your desk configuration. 2. The base is as big as the stand that holds the laptop. As you can see from my picture, the base is flush up against my mouse pad, which doesn't leave much room on my medium-sized desk. Not a deal breaker (and the laptop stand itself is fantastic in and of itself, so it still gets 5 stars), but something I definitely wasn't excited about. I'd love to see the next version of this stand have a slightly smaller base for more desk space as the ability to raise and/or lower the stand itself to the perfect height. Other than that, it's excellent.

I have been searching for a standing desk for a while but they are so expensive! They also take up quite a bit of room. I ordered a couple of portable/convertible ones that were a hassle to move around. I don't know why I never thought of this before! This riser is sturdy, functional and sits atop my kitchen counter/table/desk with easy portability. I tend to work wherever is convenient. It allows me to keep my arms/head in a good ergonomic position and move whenever I need to move. I cannot recommend this enough! The ONLY THING I might ask for is adjustability of height but I'm kind of afraid to because that can make it feel rickety.

I ordered this stand, as well as a matching tablet stand from the same company (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DBV1OKY) and a matching phone stand also from the same company (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B014INJCT4). Funnily enough, I didn't even realize they were all by the same company until the package arrived, I had simply picked them based on their aesthetics and matching appearance, didn't really pay attention to the company brand. Speaking of brand, one thing I hate about these types of products is the inevitable, ugly brand stampage--- but very well done by Lamicall. I actually can not even notice/see the branding on any of the stands, unless I put my face close to it and the light reflects the right way for me to see it, otherwise it looks brandless, which I personally love. The build quality seems very sturdy and the stand of course looks elegant. It's a bit on the pricey side to me for just being a simple laptop stand, but the quality does seem to be there. For my purposes, this works great as a pedestal-like display stand for my laptop. It rotates in a nice 360-degree direction easily and simply. One thing I wish it had, although not as important in my case, is height adjustment in addition to the 360-degree rotation. Oh, also having some venting holes in the bottom could probably help even more with heat dissipation, but again not very important in my use-case. Putting this thing together was super simple and took my 2 minutes. They include a couple of small hand screwdriver tools for you to screw in the 8 screws needed (they include 10 screws in case you need a couple spare). Would purchase again.

This laptop stand is a godsend to me for two reasons: (1) I have chronic neck pain from a career of leaning over laptops, and (2) I am also changing a lifelong habit of reading the morning newspaper while eating breakfast, which causes me to extend my neck in an unhealthy way. Instead of subscribing to print newspapers, I've switched to getting my morning briefing from a variety of good, semi-reliable online news sites. So I now have breakfast in front of my laptop, which is placed on the Lamicall laptop riser. That keeps my neck in a healthier posture. The riser looks nice, clean and modern, and I like that it swivels. The price is fair, and I would have paid more if the height could be adjusted up and down. Having this laptop riser enabled me to cancel two newspaper subscriptions, a significant savings. If you're interested, the "semi-relable" news sites I've chosen (I'm a retired journalist) are Associated Press, The Week, Reason, Flipboard and the Christian Science Monitor. Most of the other mainstream media outlets have become, shall we say, unreliable.

I was so tired of moving my laptop (17in) around and it taking up so much space on desk I went on quest to find a solution. This stand had all I needed. It was a no brainer to put together, the stand had small footprint, it is elevated, it swivels making it easy to get to ports drives cables (OMG that in itself was a high five) and last but not least it has protected bottom panel to avoid scratches. Sturdy little thing too. I just love it!

This Lamicall Laptop Riser is well machined. It comes in a flat pack and needs some assembly, but it is very simple to put together based on the picture instructions and the included 10 short screws and 2 allen wrenches ( you only need 8 screws and 1 allen wrench, but mine came w extras). You basically use 4 screws to get the riser tube attached to the base, and then the other 4 screws to attach the top platform to the riser tube. You just need to get the correct side down for the base (the side w 4 silicone non-slip pads on the bottom, face down) and the correct side up for the laptop platform (side w the 2 silicone strips and metal protrusion keeping the laptop from slipping down should be face up). The top platform should be angled so it's tilted down towards the metal protrusion, so the laptop can rest on the protrusion. The entire top platform rotates in a smooth and slow way w a gentle push, so you don't need to worry about this spinning out of control, and the whole set up is well balanced. My son is using this on the coffee table in the pic, so he can reach the keys on his laptop while using a graphics tablet. He doesn't have to lean down and can also rotate the keys towards him, so he says this really helps. This is a well made and attractive stand that moves your tools to you, rather than the other way around.

This is one of the best Lamicall products I've had yet. It's a simple and elegant labtop stand that's easy to put together and looks great. Building the stand took under five minutes and was easy, as it came with extra screws and the tools needed for the job. The stand itself comes in two metal slabs connected with a pole in the middle, allowing it to be rotated a full 360 degrees. In my use, it did not stick and it felt good to use. The stand has an all aluminum finish and has a great modern look to it. Rubber grips on the top and bottom make it hard for the stand to move out of place and keeps your labtop stable when using it. At no point did i feel like it was not up to the task of holding my labtop. Overall i would give this stand a 9/10. The only negative is the slightly steep asking price.

The Lamicall Laptop Riser is extremely well made. It ships in a carefully packaged box with simple assembly instructions. I was able to put it together without the instructions in 10 minutes with the included screws and hex wrenches. Two hex wrenches are included and 10 screws - although you only need 8 to assemble the product and the wrenches are the same size. The base plate and the laptop plate are the same sizes, but it's easy to see that one has 'feet' and the other a 'lip' to keep a laptop from sliding off of it. A short pole is attached to the base and the laptop stands with the included hex screws. The top part of the post is angled, so you can't really confuse how it goes together. I was very impressed with the sturdiness of this stand. I own two other Lamcell stands for my iPad and iPhone, and both are of excellent quality as well. Putting the stand together was very easy, and everything you need to do it comes in the package. The hex screws are very shallow and it can be a little tricky to get them started, but a good light source and patience will get the job done. I found getting one screw loosely anchored first worked best. The stand is sturdy, and the laptop shelf swivels 360 degrees. I would feel confident using a laptop of any side on this stand provided it was on a sturdy tabletop. But buyers should be aware that this laptop stand does have a few things that make it not-quite-perfect for me. I didn't take a star away from the review though, as this product is well built and as described. Features I wish this stand had include: ♦︎ The laptop shelf is angled, but the angle is set and there is no way to adjust it to a different degree of slope. An angle adjustment would be a great addition to this product. ♦︎ The laptop shelf is metal with no vents to allow heat to escape. It does have two thin rubber bumpers, and heat should dissipate quickly through the aluminum frame, but I found my Macbook's fan came on rather quickly when using it on this stand. Some additional vent holes in the laptop shelf would be helpful. ♦︎ There is no height adjustment for the laptop shelf with this stand. The laptop shelf is approximately 4-5"'s off the desktop and rotates 360 degrees, but will not go up and down. As long as you know what you're getting - a sturdy, good-looking laptop stand that can swivel, but not change its angle or height - this one is worth considering. --------------------- ----------------------------

When I purchased the Laptop Notebook Stand by Lamicall, I wasn't expecting much because the price was so cheap. I paid less than $30. When my stand arrived, I was floored by how well it was crafted, how easily it went together, and how great it looks and works. I love it. I'm sure I'll be using it for years to come because it is so well built and sturdy. It's a good height and it holds my laptop securely. It has grips in the right places and a very solid front bar that holds everything just right. Thank you, Lamicall, for such an amazing product. I can't recommend this stand enough!
