This was my first foray into gas grilling since I have always been grilling with charcoal prior to this. I was very worried that using a gas grill will not taste anywhere near as good as a charcoal grill but this particular grill proved me wrong.

The grill arrived in perfect condition. The sear station is actually an additional burner that can be turned on so there is a decent sized area that can be used at a high temperature. The grill seems to distribute heat very evenly and is a good size to be able turn off a burner for indirect cooking.

BOUGHT CHEAPER GRILLS IN THE PAST...DON'T BOTHER, SPEND THE EXTRA.

This was easy to assemble and even easier to cook on. So much better then the cheap Walmart grill I had. No more flare ups or cold spots. It does cost more then those other grills but it is so much worth it.

So far I love this grill and hope it lasts me many years. I assembled the grill myself and it was fairly easy except for 2 issues. 1st was trying to get the side burner fuel line to connect which was difficult but after many attempt to get the quick connect valves to lock I was able to muscle it in. 2nd was the miss alignment of the face plate causing the knobs to not align and rub causing issues with the safety push in operation. I was able to loosen the burner manifold and force it down about a quarter inch and retighten allowing enough clearance for the knobs to function probably.

I purchased the Genesis II S-435 about 30 days ago and have used it about 7 times since. It is fantastic; everything I wanted in a gas grill. I assembled it myself, to include manhandling the bulky heavy lid; a second person for that part would have been nice, but I managed. I followed both the written instructions and an online video and despite a few places where the pictures didn’t match my unit, I didn’t have any problems. There’s a point in the instructions however where you install the ignition system, attach a ground wire and attached wires to the switch. I recommend you stop at that point, install the battery and test the circuit. Unfortunately, I followed the instructions which didn’t have me test the ignition until after I had assembled the whole grill, and mine didn’t work. I had to back out the last few steps so I could get to the wires and troubleshoot what turned out to be a bad ground. I didn’t change the ground’s location, I merely scuffed up the connection a bit to complete the ground, tested and then reassembled. Everything works fine. If asked, I would recommend this grill.

The grill arrived on the schedule date and took about 1.5 hours to assemble. I have only used the grill twice since i received it but have found that the heating is even and the temperature control works well. I would recommend this grill to any looking for a grill that offers a consistent temperature and even heating surface

I love this grill. Cooks so much faster & evenly. No flare ups or burning anything anymore. I've grilled 9 times & we've only had it 2 weeks. The burner on the side was great for sautéed mushrooms & another time for herbed spicy butter on chicken.

The grill is amazing!!! After I put it together, kinda wished I had gotten the black one? but that's not gonna change the taste of the food. My first steak was amazing!!! Cooked asparagus and got the perfect char. The heat is so even.

This is my second weber grill - I have a 3 burner propane genesis, but wanted a bigger NG grill for my new house. Had the first grill for close to six years without any issues. This grill arrived in the mail, and when I opened it up, was disappointed to find the lid had a hole punched in the siding. When I contacted Amazon customer service, they couldn't replace just that part and would have had to send me a whole new grill (which didn't make sense, this thing weighs like 150 pounds and I had already unboxed it), so they gave me 10% off. I then contacted Weber customer service, and they responded and had a new lid on my doorstep within three days under warranty. Once I got the new lid, I assembled the grill (by myself, which by the way is perfectly doable though not as easy as with two people). Unfortunately, I discovered when i went to put the new lid on that the main tub had a crack in it where the lid connects from whatever impact event damaged the lid as well. I had already assembled the whole thing, so I wrote back to the customer service rep who sent me the new lid and told him the situation - that I discovered this crack only after I had assembled it and didn't want to have to disassemble and reassemble to replace the part, and then I asked if there was anything they could do to help out. The rep said that service isn't covered under warranty, but he'd reach out to the service department to see what he could do. A couple of days later, I received a call letting me know that they'd be scheduling a service visit as soon as the part was available. tldr; Grill arrived damaged. Accidents happen, but Weber customer service is/was top notch, and I will remain a customer for a long time. Also, the grill is great too.
