Exactly what I wanted
It is a standard small lock box size. I got it to keep a few adult items away from my children. It is perfect for what I wanted. The "pages" are a hard plastic molding and the cover is like a real book cover. If you look closely the wording doesn't quite make sense which cracks me up every time. I keep a lot of books on a bookshelf and this disappears nicely into it. I wanted something with a combination lock so I wouldn't have to keep a key around.

Nice diversion!
Hate when people say there's no instruction when there's clearly one right on this site and also included in the package. Have to give this 5-star because I'm trying to find a normal looking book instead of a dictionary. And this just fits that criteria. Now I have a great diversion to keep my cash from prying eyes. The cover looks real as a book. The paper, not so much. Haha. But it does the job so no complaint.

Works
The paper on the side isn’t all that convincing but it works. It just barley fits a Beretta 92FS, I have to angle it out but it’s still nice.

Love this!
That's $2,000 inside the book . I hope I can put full of money in it soon lol ...Love this !

Nice looking, easy to use, good price!
I bought several of these safes as birthday gifts for my grandkids and will buy more for Christmas. There are a variety of covers, are easy to use, and the price is right. My grands really like having a "safe place" for their valuables, their parents liked that it isn't another toy! Granted this little safe isn't the National Bank, but it does provide security from the average sticky fingered kiddo from picking up my grands cash, etc.

Nice, secret "safe"
Once it's on the shelf, it looks like a real book. Easy to set combination.

Worth it!
Looks great. You wod think it's a regular book. But no you have this awesome secret compartment to store stuff. This is a cool unique piece. Also Great gifts for any age.

Better than expected.
Was better than I thought. Very strong metal lockbox.

Who reads books, or better yet, who steals books!
I was looking for a way to keep a loaded handgun safe and away from the babies, yet secure enough to not have to worry. You can see this is large enough to hold a Glock 23 holstered and with an extra magazine. What I like is that this is a glorified cash box. It has a book cover around it, but locks. I like that it looks like a book and the Paris title fits with our decor. This as you can see has a user settable mechanical combination lock. It’s nice to not have to keep track of another key. It is easy to change, easy to operate, easy peasy. The one gripe I see here, is people complain about the pages. I think they are fine at a glance or when you have it set in a book case. Then you only see the back spine anyway. If the don’t see it in plain sight, the won’t take it. They will be busy searching your closets and drawers. I spent less than $14 on this, which is less than if I used an old book and had to get a cash box. Well worth the price. If it is discovered by chance, you have no hope, someone can walk away with it easily and open it later. Still good for a hidden place with easy access. I have a close up shot so you can see how it connects to the binding and also how the pages look. Not perfect, but gets the job done.
