Great filament, great price.
I've gone through several rolls of this filament, in black, white, gray, and blue, and had excellent result. I'm using an all metal hot end and run at 220ºC. The filament sticks to the bed well, lays down cleanly, and has a great surface finish. The hole in the spool with length remaining marked off is very handy. This is my go-to filament for most projects. One note: some people have complained about tangled filament; I experienced this once and it was totally my fault. It's _very_ easy for the filament to wrap under itself (due to the spring tension in the filament) if you _ever_ let go of the end, and you won't even notice it's happened. I've been making a point of always pushing the end of the filament through either two of the convenient holes around the edge of the roll if I'm storing it, or into a hole next to the spool holder on my printer if I'm loading the filament into the printer. I've never had an issue with tangling following these simple steps.

Sturdy and consistent filament
This filament runs perfectly in my Ender 3 Pro printer. It extrudes consistently and does not have any artifacts. I run it at 60° on the bed and 200° for the hot end. I like the gray color. It takes acrylic paint well. I have painted a print that I made in vase mode. I gave it three coats of white paint and it looks great. The prints are strong. I haven't had anything break on me. I'm using it to print RPG "dungeon" tiles using the OpenLOCK™ system. The tiles print perfectly and the OpenLOCK clips themselves are very strong. Overall, I would recommend this filament to anyone. I like it so much that I just ordered a 3 pack of the white Amazon Basics PLA. I'm going to stick with this filament as long as I can.

Strong, and very easy to print with
I have a custom printer, but printing at 217c and 55c bed works perfect for me. My prints are mostly at 1.5m layer height, 5-6 walls, and 100% infill. Never had a tangle, and I'm on roll 5 this month. I wish they would make a 3Kg or 5Kg roll. My machine prints 24/7 and changing rolls in the middle of the night I could do without. If you have used the PolyMax product, this is very comparable at a third of the price. Amazon; keep up the good work!

Excellent rich color
I wanted to try a new gloss black and discovered the Premium AmazonBasics filament. After about 12 hours of printing I can say I'm a fan. Great bed adhesion and the parts have no blobs on the surface. Finished isn't quite as glossy as silk plastic is, but has a nice shine on flat surfaces. I'm printing it at 220C and have had no issues at all.

Great general purpose filament
Tried a roll and was very pleased by the results. Very easy to print and consistent results. I've ordered 3 more rolls and have made this my default PLA. After testing multiple settings, I've found that 215C with a bed temp of 50C creates the best results for my Flashforge Creator Pro. The filament feels a little silkier than the other PLA's I've printed and the prints are considerably more durable.

Working great so far
I've printed a few things with this black premium filament on my stock cr10s and it is working great. I print at 220* nozzle and 60* bed. I haven't had any issues with the winding being off and causing any issues, but I'm only ~20% into the roll. Will update once roll is finished. It is sticking to my painters tape a little too well. I am planning on upgrading the bed anyways so no big deal. The quality I am getting with the unmodified cr10s and this filament is pretty amazing. This filament is noticeably better than the white sample filament the printer came with.

I love this stuff
Once a few settings are dialed in, this stuff is fantastic. I'm printing on a Prusa i3 Mk3 on the standard resolution from Slic3r PE and the prints come out great. I've already ordered another spool and plan to continue. I also ordered the multi-color sample pack although I don't think it's the premium stuff, and that's also great.

Better than expected!
I ran out of filament for my print which is why I have a great comparison picture. I decided to order the 3-pack because I kept running out of black pla despite the slightly higher price. I usually order Hatchbox spools but I wanted to branch out and try some new filaments. I am happy that I did because I have discovered a matte finish! All of my prints are coming out cleaner than ever! I have printed with this at 200 °C and that seems like a perfect temperature to use if you need a recommendation. One thing may concern you is that I did experience my first hotend jam while using the first spool. It could be that it was from all the other filaments that I used (over 7 months) or maybe this filament isn't very pure. I decided to go with the idea that the jam was being built up over time. I have gone through all the spools now and I haven't had a jam since. I really recommend this over Hatchbox if you like the matte finish. Also, the filament level indicator on the spool is a nice plus!

Works great at 230* C instead of 200*C
When I made my first print with this, I tried at 200*C, which I usually use for PLA filament. However, it came out so gloppy that it didn’t melt all of the way, so it hardened before the extruder could move on. I then checked the spool and noticed that instead of a 175*C-200*C print temperature like other filament, it recommends 200*C-230*C. I tried a second print at 215*C, and it was better than the 200*C one, but it was also not melted enough and I had to cancel that print too. Finally, I tried printing a small Candyland test piece at 230*C and the filament melted into a nice creamy texture and printed properly. I use Acura slicing software, and I’m able to save custom materials, so I created an Amazon premium PLA material with the same settings as generic PLA, but with a printing temperature of 230*C instead of 200*C and it is working great!

Perfect prints so far
UPDATE 2: I'm adding back the star. I ran into the tangling issue, but the more I thought about it, the more I believe that it must have been user error. It's really not feasible that the spooling process could have introduced a tangle. I've now finished this entire roll and only had that issue once. I just make sure to unroll it a few turns at the start and spool it back to insure I haven't accidentally introduced a tangle. For what it's worth, it printed great prints to the very end! :) Definitely getting more. UPDATE: -1 star. Another reviewer pointed out a problem with the filament winding on the spool causing issues. I can definitely confirm this. This is a major issue for unattended printing. Don't know whether this will continue to surface or not, but at least at some points in the spool, more "inner" layers of filament are overlapping the outer layer, causing binding and could easily ruin an unattended print. This is a significant QC issue. The supplier definitely needs to look into improving their spooler. I'm new to the 3D printing game. Maybe a month in. I used the sample PLA that came with my printer, of course. But I needed to make some strong and more heat-resistant parts. So I ordered a multi-color pack of Amazon Basics PETG. Wasn't that well rated, but no PETG really was. I've YET to get a really good print with the PETG. Clogging, stringing, blech! I somehow wound up with 10kg of the stuff, so I need to try to make it work, I guess. Or donate it to my local maker-space. BUT this Amazon Basics Premium PLA is the exact opposite. No runs, no drips, no errors. I've printed maybe 50 hours so far at 60mm/s and 215C / 60C and, man, beautiful stuff. Layer adhesion is very good. Bed adhesion is fine, though I generally use painters tape since my bed's not 100% flat. I got the Blue this time and the color is great. Consistent and a really nice sheen...somewhere in between gloss and matte...semi-gloss I guess. And the prints seem strong. Softer "feel" than the base PLA, but definitely stronger. And a bit more rigid than the PETG. Anyway, I'll be buying more. If the QC on this is good and the rolls keep coming with the same quality, I don't know that I'll need to print with much of anything else.
