• 【Want to Fix Your Electronics?】The temperature control and on/off switch are both built right into the handle of the Soldering Iron. You can reduce the heat with the turn of the dial and minimize wear on the Soldering Iron Tips. The temperature control is at your fingertips - with just one finger you can increase the heated volume and continue to do the job faster as a DIY guy. There is a 30% increase in the material on the 5 soldering tips provided for longer life.
  • 【Upgraded DE-Soldering Pump With Eco-Friendly Materials】Most of our customers are environmentalists who hate using the DE-soldering pump made from aluminum and plastic materials. So, we improved our DE-soldering pump to use environmentally friendly materials. We have added sponge blocks to clean the soldering tips while you use the iron.
  • 【Multifunctional Multimeter】We have chosen the FSK-830LN model over the UK-830LN model. The FSK-830LN does the same and more than the UK-830LN, and it includes the ability to measure HFE with higher accuracy. We have supplied a 9-volt battery as a gift for you so you can use the multimeter upon receiving your new Soldering Iron Kit.
  • 【Easy and Portable Application】Great for electronic circuit boards, costume jewelry, small appliances and other DIY home repairs. The 110-Volt, 60-Watt Soldering Iron Kit has a rapid heat thermostat range of 392 Fahrenheit to 842 Fahrenheit (or 200-450 Celsius). The PU carry bag is convenient for transporting your device or storing small tools.

I was quite surprised at how well this kit worked for the money I paid! I mean just a soldering iron alone cost more than this kit did. Used the fine tip to solder small electronics which the iron worked GREAT heated up fast and I love the ability to set the temperature. What made it even better for me was the meter. I had a short somewhere in my wiring which my other super expensive meter wouldn't detect, yet this simple meter did! SO just for being able to find a sudden short that developed in my truck with this kit more than paid for it in peace of mind. Very happy with this purchase.

As the title states, please keep in mind I'm a beginner both in soldering and using a multimeter, so this is my first experience with these tools and as such, I have not a lot of references for comparison. Having said that, this is a great kit in terms of contents, and presentation. The carrying case is high quality, and everything contained in it is working as expected, and I have found it to be quite useful. As soon as I received it, I started working on small projects such as using the soldering iron to fix some old headphones, soldering quadcopter cables, etc. So far everything has worked perfectly. I also used the multimeter on several other tests and small projects, and so far it has not disappointed. The solder has worked well for the small cabling jobs I have done so far, the tweezers have also come in handy. Overall, I would recommend this kit for anyone starting to work on small projects. Good price for what you get.

Between my trusty Weller soldering station and this portable kit, the soldering iron from the kit has a longer heatup time of a minute and a half, but this is no surprise for any iron that runs on AC. The set of tips is wonderful though, and I would switch to a chiseled one immediately for most purposes. At least you have that option, Weller makes you fork out the cash when it comes to changing tips! Most of the rest is fine, pump and tweezers work like you expect, but there are to things I'd toss out immediately if given the choice: the solder and the stand. There is no point to a soldering stand, if one goal is to keep you from touching it, and the tip sticks out at the end. Also, the solder somehow needs a higher temperature to the flow, and I actually melted a switch trying to use it. That said, if you're new to this stuff, it won't kill you, but if you decide to take up soldering and electronics as a hobby, then upgrade those ASAP. Nonetheless, this kit is not bad if you need to work on the field or if you're just getting into it.

I love this kit. It was very inexpensive for what it includes and the tools are of good quality. The multimeter I received is a bit staticy when testing continuity, but it works fine regardless. I use the multimeter constantly and that tool alone has provided a lot of value as I study and learn to solder. A decent amount of solder is included, enough to work on some perfboard or one to three soldering kits. Multiple solder tips are included, and one could probably tackle any soldering task with the iron. The angle tip tweezers are awesome and feel sturdy. I needed to use the solder sucker a lot sooner than I thought I would and was happy to have it on hand. The solder base needs to be screwed into something sturdy; I screwed mine into a retired Boos butcher block (big-ol’-cutting-board) and it is a sturdy, portable workstation that this kit works well with. This is an excellent value and will allow you to begin soldering quickly and without feeling frustrated for lack of tools.

Keep in mind that this review comes from someone who's had absolutely no experience with soldering or using a multimeter before purchasing this kit. The kit came with everything listed, and I had 0 expectations except that the soldering iron would get hot, and that the solder would melt when in contact with the iron. That said, with only a few youtube videos to guide me, I've managed to secure a battery that was previously taped down in a used Super Famicom game I purchased off Amazon (the tape wasn't keeping the battery secured and the game would lose saves if knocked around enough). The battery is now secure and the game will hold saves for years to come. As you can see in the pictures above, my second project was to restore the screen on a gameboy my family purchased back when they were originally released, and though things started off a little dicey and I made the screen look worse, I stuck with it and turned the temp up a bit and in a little over an hour those lines of pixels that had been missing for over a decade are working just fine again. The multimeter appears to function just fine, getting a proper 3 volt reading from the coin cell battery I worked with on my first project, the tweezers came in handy holding the battery in place as I soldered, and though I already have a swappable-bit screwdriver kit, a spare is always nice to have just in case. I have no experience with solder beyond what came with this kit, but it's holding that battery in place just fine. Honestly it seems like a great value for anyone looking to get into soldering. I'm sure more experienced individuals would be able to explain the nuances, strengths and flaws of the tool far better than I, but all I can offer are the pleasant results I've achieved so far, and I'm looking forward to future projects and repairs that have opened up now that I have a soldering iron.

This is a great beginner soldering set. It even includes a zippered case to keep everything organized and in its proper place when it is not in use. Of course it could use more lower temp settings but for the price and everything you get I can't complain. i bought it for my husband for a gift and he loves it. He uses it to repair his hobby cars and other hobby projects.

UPDATE!!!!: So just recently used this kit for a few projects. Replacing an iPod battery that requires a small tip and it worked wonders!! Used it for maybe 5 min on the lowest setting and it heated up quick! Also the ohmmeter is amazing. So many functions for such a cheap price! Love this set so much! Will definitely recommend to my classmates and buddies. Works wonders for small projects! .................... Just received my Yome kit and I must say I'm pretty excited to begin using it! I'm still a student in electrical school but I think this will be exactly what I need . I have got everything set up and will update again after I use it. So far the carrying case is really good condition. It's actually a pretty good size! I was dreading it would be small but I'm surprised! The DMM is made of plastic using the included 9V battery. Lights up nicely for a few seconds. I'll be repairing small electrical components so I think It'll serve it's purpose there! The soldering iron is also decently sized. The dial on the side is kinda small but I don't think I will have a problem reading it. Overall my first impression is generally great! And again, will update after a few projects!
