Better than most but time will tell how waterproof it is

This case certainly seems to provide better protection than other cases I have purchased since the camera is also protected on the bottom as well as the top. Will water eventually find its way inside, not sure. I did however put silicon around where the power cord connects and I did use a piece of tape to cover most of the hole on the bottom leaving only a small area for ventilation and for water to exit should any find its way inside. .

It works!

Like others have said, it doesn't have any rubber gaskets, but I've had it mounted under and eave outside over the last month with no issues at all. We've had rain, freezing rain, high winds, and polar vortex temperatures during that time. Based on the previous reviews I didn't attempt to use the provided screws and instead mounted it with some extras I had laying around. The camera fits perfectly and I've not had any issues with the mount shifting or moving. It looks nice and blends seamlessly. Very satisfied a month in!

Very nice solution to provide inexpensive outdoor camera

I like this product, it fits my needs perfectly and was very easy to install. The difficulty happened to be reinstalling the power cord. Due to the extra depth it needs some help, I used a small stand screwdriver to help it a little bit. It worked fine. The next problem is reconnecting to you network. Initially it appears that your connection did not work but give it a moment or three and have it reconnect. It comes up well.mlooks harder then it is. Bottom line, it works extremely well. Because of this experience I purchased another one and continue to be highly satisfied.

With a slight modification these are perfect.

I grabbed a couple of these to mount under my eves. When they came it I decided to add some enhancements to help protect my $20 cameras :) I cut up an old bike inner tube and glued a bit to inside the back cover, and cut a slit in it for the USB cable. It's not waterproof, but it isn't going to let any rain that bounces off the house enter the case. It also will keep out spiders. I also added a pack of the desiccant inside the cover when I sealed it. IF any water gets in, I want this to help get it off the camera. The case is solid and I attached it to my house before Christmas. I haven't had to mess with it since.

Great Outdoor Housing/Mount for Wyze Cams

I purchased these to provide some protection from the elements for my outdoor Wyze Cam installation. The cam fits perfectly inside the housing. The cam is not entirely enclosed as the lens opening is exposed as well as part of the back panel to allow for the micro USB port. I have mine mounted under the roof overhang and have not had any issues. It seems to do well even with Florida downpours. I will definitely purchase more as I expand my outdoor security coverage. My only complaint is that the mount base is plastic, but seems durable enough.

Worked well in harsh climate

I have mounted outside in the saltwater air with direct contact to freezing rain and very heavy winds for one month and it has held up well. I was skeptical of it's somewhat open design but survived through two Nor'easters and a snow storm... Still Working fine no issues heavy weather winds February 26 2019

A nice housing for the Wyze camera.

This wall mount for the Wyze cam works extremely well. It’s easy to install and gives good protection for the camera. If you are going to use the camera in an area the is exposed directly to the elements it could let water in but mounted under the eaves, it gives ample protection to keep your camera dry and working long term.

Wyze Camera Wall Mount Bracket, Weather Proof Cover

This mount fits the Wyze Fixed Camera perfectly and is easy to mount and adjust. One thing to be aware of there is no opening to daisy chain a power cable out to another camera. It does have an opening for the MicoSD power cable just not one for the normal USB port to power another camera. Not a negative unless you need this feature. I did not.

Wyze purchase for your Wyze Cam! Holds up through it all!

Overly impressed on what this adds to Wyze Cam. I was hesitant putting a non weatherproof camera outsize but it’s done the job! I’ve put this up and it’s endured several feet of snow coming down, freezing rain, and temperatures down to -20s °F(wind chill down to -50s °F). It is under and overhang in front of my house but it is definitely exposed to the elements still. If you have a Wyze Cam you’re wanting to check out I’d highly recommend this protective cover. Wyze Cam plus this cover is still a lot cheaper than any other security camera options currently. Note: I also did grab a 15-20 foot usb to microUSB cable as the Wyze Cam included cable is only maybe 6-10 feet which isn’t reasonable for outdoor use really.

Good quality

Purchased for two outdoor Wyze Cams. Works perfect so far not a single issue. It is a pain if you have any wifi issues to remove the case to rest the camera, but definitely does protect from the elements and haven't had any weird glare issues. I also added some silicone around the casing and in the holes for further protection. Also be careful to not crazy tighten the little screws because I almost couldn't get them back out!!
