Just love a gadget to make life easier
I was using a wilton icing tip to push out cherry pits. It worked but is made a bloody mess and my counter looked like a crime scene. I used my new cherry pitter for a cobbler last weekend and I couldn't believe how easy to use and mess free this tool is. I have added the cherry pitter to my list of OMG how did I not have this before gadgets.

Easy to use, easy to clean!
This cherry pitter is easy to use and easy to clean. You put the cherry in and squeeze the handle. The pit comes out the bottom of the cherry. It's easy enough to just cut the cherry in half after for presentation purposes

Best Cherry Pitter Ever
This cherry pitter is the easiest pitter I have ever used. It gets the pit out on almost every cherry on the first try. It is easy to clean. A super kitchen gadget that really works. I would buy again.

This has earned a spot in my gadget drawer
Like many professional and home-cooks, I don't like to buy kitchen items that can only be used for one thing (non-multi tasker). That's why it literally took me YEARS to break down and purchase this cherry pitter. Well, now I'm kicking myself because it took me so long (lol)!! This little gem looks like it is made well, AND it literally takes the "grunt" work of making anything with cherries down to seconds, instead of (many) minutes. In my first photo you'll see cherries....15 in each bowl. One bowl was pitted by hand and it took me almost 5 minutes. I used the cherry pitter for the other 15, and it took just around ONE minute.... yes, ONE! Basically, using this you'll have your cherries prepared five times more quickly.... that's pretty darn good for less than a $10 investment (now you see why I'm kicking myself.... how many pies do you think I've made over the years?? And what about you?) This appears to me to be made quite well. The stainless steel part that pushes the pit out of the flesh looks as though it's molded into the plastic where (I'm hoping) it'll stay that way for a long time (I will, for sure, update if need be). The piece that holds the cherry itself keeps it in there securely, although I did have a few honking big fruits that I was leery about (it still worked though). Definitely make sure that you're wearing something old, something that you're not attached to because I did get sprayed a few times (and cherry juice isn't easily washed out). Lastly, the inner workings of this pitter consists of a stainless steel band, which should keep this pitting many, many cherries (you could use it for olives too). All in all, this baby has earned a spot in my gadget drawer. I write my reviews because I love to help others (I was a nurse). If this one has helped you, please click so below. That way, I'll be able to see if I'm helping. BTW, I'm never compensated for any review, and all of my reviews are my own, honest opinions.

Super fast and easy
Ergomatic handling and grip makes pitting cherries fast and easy. Best to use tall container to collect pits and juice as juice does splatter.

good job
Does a good job. It's kinda slow doing only 1 cherry at a time but you can be sure you get the pit out unlike some of the other cherry pitters. Yeah, I would recommend pitter.

Perfect for cherry season!
I couldn't love this any more than I do. I love being able to pit my cherries for my work lunches and snacks on the go. It's so nice to be able to eat cherries at work or in the car without spitting pits out and making a mess.

Fast and Easy!!!
I wanted to mix fresh cherries with my yogurt; this tool is just what I needed. It is quick and simple to use and is very reliable. It doesn't matter how the cherry is oriented. Just place the cherry into the rubber holder and squeeze. It works every time! Cleaning is a matter of a quick rinse under the faucet.

Well designed, such that even a 2 year old can use!
This item was better than I was expecting for the price. Seems very well made -- body seems to be good quality plastic and the pitting part seems to be good quality stainless steel. Also, the arced design of the pitting part is well designed as it pits perfectly most every time. The best part is that not only do I not need to painstakingly pit cherries for my 4 year old by cutting them in half, but he can now pit them himself and has fun doing it! Even my 2 year old can pit cherries successfully with this! (though I then cut them in half for her so that she doesn't choke) Even the box it came in was aesthetically pleasing and well-designed. Do not yet know how it will hold up over time but, overall, this felt like a very good value for the money... highly recommend.
