Lifesaver (and money saver too!!!) Yeti Blue & iPhone XS integration
Total lifesaver! Was able to plug my Yeti Blue mic into my iPhone thanks to this little piece of tech and even better, charge it at the same time! Check it out: I got a 4 port powered USB hub, I plugged it into power and then the Yeti into one of the 4 ports and viola, power goes to the Yeti. Now I plugged this camera adapter into my iPhone’s lightning port, and then plugged the USB 4 port hub into the adapter, so now the USB hub is connected to my phone, and the Yeti is ALSO connected to my phone AND powered up by the hub. Now here’s the kicker: I plugged in a lightning to USB cable into the camera adapter using the lightning side and into one of the other 4 ports of the hub with the USB side, and viola - now power ALSO goes to my phone!!! Now I can record video with my phone AND charge it at the same time WHILE using a powered up Yeti!!!! I am taking the time to write this review because it took some trial and error but after some research and reading some of the other reviews on here, I got my intended results!

Passes digital audio to a headphone amp
This adapter passes digital audio to my headphone amps at a much lower price than the Apple CCK. I use it with either an Audioquest DragonFly or an Xduoo DAC/amp.

Works as advertised
I bought this for my wife to use on her iPad Pro. She is now running PadOS 13 (Public Beta) which corrects some glaring file management issues Apple had. With this adapter and PadOS 13 she can use USB sticks just like you can on any other computer. When using USB sticks the adapter has to be powered by connecting your Lightning cable into the adapter but that is a design limitation on the iPad side, not the adapter. You would not want that much power being drawn out of your iPad. The original purpose is to use this adapter to connect a camera and download pictures. That functionality remains in PadOS 13/iOS 13 but is greatly expanded. Of course when you do this you won't need the external power supply since the camera powers its own reader. Some things to keep in mind. Prior to PadOS 13/iOS 13, which will release to all compatible devices in the fall of 2019, iPads and iPhones can only read image and movie files stored in the DCIM folder of a USB stick, memory card, camera, etc... Not all camera devices store images or videos in a DCIM folder, dash cams especially seem to use Saved and Recent or just root directory which is unreadable prior to PadOS 13/iOS 13. Is this unit as good as the Apple device for nearly twice the cost? I don't know. When looking at it it appears to be of similar quality. Only time will tell if I am actually going to save money by spending less this time.

Digital keyboard to iPad
This works great to connect my Yamaha P115 to my ipad. I use Skoove to learn piano, and the feedback on whether I have the right key pressed or not is immediate. It doesn't require the power adaptor to be plugged in in order to work, but it will charge the ipad if you do connect it. Note: It does not come with a power adaptor, but you can connect the ipad/iphone connector to it.

Great Midi Connector!
awesome product! i use it for my midi keyboards. Caution: it only works with my keyboards that have a “printer” usb cable connector at the keyboard out. It does not work with my Irig keyboards that have a “din” connector at the keyboard interface. Great price compared to other solutions.

I couldn’t believe a $15 adapter fulfilled my specific need.
I got this adapter on a pipe dream I could use my my iPad 6th generation to record a podcast I’m part of. And it fricken worked! I am so happy this $15 adapter has allowed me to plug in my interface and record up to 2 XRL mics into GarageBand. My interface uses phantom power to boot up the mics and as long as my iPad is plugged into an outlet or external power adapter I can record. I was thinking of upgrading to iPad Pro going to cost me up to $400 and this adapter has done exactly what I want it to do. Do yourself a favor and feel confident this product will deliver.

THIS IS SO COOL
I just wanted to fool around with the capabilities of having a USB port on my iPhone and it's been so much fun. Of course the usual stuff like mice, but almost anything else is fair game. Just expect it to not work before you try so you don't get disappointed. But I did try, USB to mic and headphone adapter, Mechanical Keyboard, and Ethernet which all works. So give it a try.

Works great for connecting an Iphone 11 with a blue yeti mic
I bought this in order to connect my Blue Yeti Mic to my Iphone 11. I was a little bit worried that it wouldn't work as I found some people online saying that you need a powered USB hub to connect the mic and phone to, however I can confirm that it works using only this adapter. I did not have to change any settings or use any special app or anything, I connected my charging cable to the power slot input, my iphone to the lightning port, and the blue yeti into the usb port and filmed video like normal using the camera. All of the sound recorded through the mic. Note: With the mic plugged in, you won't be able to actually hear the sound when you replay your videos on your phone, you have to unplug the mic first. But all the sound will be there assuming that your mic was not on mute when you recorded.

Works fine on my MIDI keyboards!
I decided to give this adapter a try after my overpriced genuine Apple stopped working after about a year of frequent use. I use it almost exclusively to attached a MIDI keyboard to my iPad. I have you other non-Apple USB adapters but they failed to be recognized by the I-pad. The HENKUR USB Camera Adapter plugged in fine and was recognized iPad within seconds. I’ve played on it for an hours and there have been no spontaneous disconnects, so I’m calling this a success at this point. The construction of the adapter appears solid, about the same as the Apple product. The cable appears to be made of the higher quality silicon sheath that one sees on the Apple product.
