Tried these in comparison to the Staples brand ones- these are just as good! Good paper quality, has held up well (pages don't tear out easily).

These have been great in keeping my kids interested in writing and drawing stories over summer break!

My daughter and I have our own business and in this business we have to come up with designs for things. We use these books as journals when we need to get inspired. WHAT ARE THESE LIKE? These books are bound. They have wide lines and they have a blank space for illustrations. HOW DO THESE PERFORM? We use these for idea books. We put out illustrations in the blank space and then jot down other information on the lines underneath. When it is time for inspiration in our designs, we consult them. WOULD THESE BE GOOD FOR SCHOOL? I also have been a teacher and have used these for primary age children. It is helpful to draw a picture and have them write sentences motivated by or related to the picture. THE BOTTOM LINE For school or other uses, these books are a great way to make a more permanent record of ideas, drawings and other information for inspiration or learning purposes. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I prefer these to spiral bound books when it comes to design ideas or records of learning that I want to last for a long time.

These notebooks are exactly like the name brand ones, great quality. It comes in a three pack, one of each color: blue, red & yellow. The paper quality is excellent. The format of the page is great for him to write a short sentence and draw a picture at the top for daily journaling.

These journal notebooks are a nice combination of blank space for drawing, and ruled space for journaling. I loved this style as a teacher for my students, and now enjoy these for my own children. The journal spine and covers have held up to multiple uses so far. My kids enjoy using these to practice their handwriting and tell stories. I will definitely be purchasing more once ours are filled up.

Perfect for Kindergarten/1st grade kids. Provides both an area for pictures and handwriting lines on the same page.

These will be perfect for my class to do their writings in.

Notebooks are good quality, and the three pack is good value. Line spacing is perfect for developing writers.

These writing books are great. The top part of each page is open for a sketch, drawing or what not, while the bottom half is double lined for writing. It is also perfect for K2 since there are two pages with letters, one for writing and one to help with pronunciation. The package comes with three books, one of each color. The colors are not obnoxious or anything. The cover is sturdy yet does not add much to the weight, so these won't kill your child's back carrying them back and forth. Overall, I really like these.
