These are made well!
My kitten was a stray, he was afraid of the toys that came with this because of their bright colors and some were shaped like snakes. I was able to buy some mice shaped toys and use them with this pole and he was thrilled with it. He can grab and hold the mouse toys so they may not last very long. He may work up to the feathers and attachments in time. The poles are nice with a metal clip for changing toys and adding additional toys. It comes with two extendable poles and we are a multiple cat family. That is why I loved this product.

Simple but great
Got this for my cat, who is 2 1/2 pounds overweight. She doesn't make any effort during play time to exercise, just lazily bats at them. After I got this, she's sprinting across the room and jumping to attack it. I feel like I'm fly fishing for cats :p It's cheap, but comes with 2 wands and a bunch of baits. The poles are collapsible, which is a nice touch. I would say there are 2 flaws. 1: The safety pin contraption at the end for putting the "bait" on is essentially immovable, meaning you have to loop it rather than using the clip. 2: the worm-like "bait" seems to have googly eyes. This is mostly for us, the humans, but it can be a hazard for cats if they ate it. They're not necessarily toxic and would more than likely be passed without issues; but they could pose a small choking hazard for kittens. I ripped them off to avoid any issues. If these toys get my fat cat up and moving I can completely overlook any mild annoyances that I have to deal with when it comes to changing out the "bait."

Exactly as pictured
I've bought the most popular toys for my cat (even electronic toys) but the only thing he goes crazy over are the worm-looking teasers that come in this set. I was weary to purchase because there were no reviews, but no need to worry with these. Good quality teasers and will likely purchase again!

Best cat toy purchase ever! Like a fishing pole & a cat toy combined!
The cats can't see the line, so it adds to the appeal of the "lure". I almost feel like I should be asking the seller for a fee. LOL This set is so great I have shared about it with a bunch of people. Our roommates purchased one, and at least 2-3 other people seemed to want to buy it as well. We've even purchased a replacement set of some of the "lures". They can be a little difficult to put on, but it works just like a lead on a fishing line. The feathered attachments spin in the air and, if left in front of a fan, will spin on their own in the moving air. The "worms" move well along the floor, and get their attention. That said, if your pet is prone to eating small items, I would recommend removing the eyes from them.

Nice product
This is the second time I bought these... My cat cant get enough of them. The only 2 downfalls that I have had, is the clasp that is used to secure the toy to the fishing line is hard to open and close, if I wanted to change the toys. Secondly, one my first set, the tip on one of the rods came off.. .I tried to superglue it back on, but didn't work. So glad there was a second fishing rod. I use this quite frequently, so he can release his energy and effectively hunt. However, you have to be warey of your cats stamina. I used to do it more frequently but now limit it to maybe 20 secs at a time, because I noticed he would hold his breath and then pounce, and be spent, and then huffing at the end, so he was over-exerting himself to catch the prey. So just be mindful as each cat/kitten is different. I am thinking about adding onto the tip they give. Keeping that one locked, but adding maybe a safetypin or a clip between them, one that's easier to open and close. Keep them in a drawer somewhere when not using, because the first batch, my cat sniffed out and destroyed the others...hahaha

Great Toys
My cats Tiny and Timma La likes your cats toys.. They enjoy them.. But I wish there was a toy mouse that I could clip on the rods of the cats toys.. A toy mouse that has a small ring around the nose area, to hook onto the the rod.. That has a rattle inside and a small bell like to get the cats aroused, with a small puffy tail and small feathers at the end.. I had to jury-rig a toy mouse by putting the hook through it, so I can hook it to cats toys rods and so the cats could play with it.. So if you could share this message to the cat toy company, would be cool.. Just an idea to pass onto them.. ( I posted this on a earlier date ) Just want add to it: 4-16-2019.. My two cats play with the mouse " that, I jury rigged ," to the fishing poll.. They play with that the most, than feather ones.. I hope you would take the " idea " first posted awhile ago, and consider it.. Just saying, be a good idea, ya think?
Pretty Swag
Awesome toy for an awesome price!
These collapsible poles are fantastic for playing with cats. They are much easier to store then the solid long poles are. They have a clip so that you can attach an assortment of toys and switch it out as needed. The attachments that come with this set are very fun. Our cats love the feather birds but they don’t last forever because our cats can’t help themselves. It’s helpful that this set is rather inexpensive so we can easily buy more attachments and keep everyone happy. I was surprised to find that they even liked the fuzzy little worm snakes to be quite exciting. This set came with two poles so you do have extra or you can have twice the fun. Highly recommend this!!!!

My cats *love* these toys!
Leia and Beans adore this toy. Interactive play toys are their favorite because I'm there to toss the toy around. What surprised me was how much they went for the fluorescent worms, slugs, naked snails, whatever you want to call them. I used both wands and put feathers on one side and slug on the other. They went for the slugs every time. Beans knows the sound of me getting the toy out and is right there raring to go before I even get it completely telescoped and ready. Leia asks for it whenever I sit in the chair that I sit in to play with them. It's my office chair, so she sadly doesn't get to play every time. The telescoping "fishing rod" is holding up very well, despite it being dragged across the floor when Beans pulls the toy out of my hands. A big 4 toes up from them and I'm helping with an additional toe to make it 5!

Cats LOVE it; good for a variety of play styles
It's an absolute crime that I took so long to review this product, because it is AMAZING. To be honest, I mildly hate these "fishing poles," as we call them, because my cats love them so much. Gone are the days of sitting on my phone scrolling endlessly, replaced with my cat meowing at me to get the toy out. I actually have to keep them sealed away inside of the China cabinet beyond their reach, because they'll drag them out of any other spot I try to hide them (spots they shouldn't even know about) to drop the pole at my feet. Even in the China cabinet, my cats paws at the glass and stare into it with their pitifully sad meows until I take them out. And when I take them out, oh boy, the real fun begins. My 10 month old cat is the laziest boy ever, but he'll chase and run and jump and crawl like no tomorrow after one of these toys. The 6th month old is just ad fascinated. She's normally shy and skidish, but once we bring the pole out, she bulldozes across the room after it without a care in the world. It's wonderful seeing one little toy make them so bold and active. What initially drew me to this product was that it's actually more than one toy, and for a superb price. I tried buying the replacement toys in other ways to see if it was cheaper, but it's honestly better to just buy another one of these, that way you have replacement toys *and* poles for a much better price than getting the toys alone. That being said, not a single toy has broken except for one lone carrot-looking worm that was hung under the table for the cats to get independent play, which only broke at the string. Despite all the love and terror these cats show to the toys, they've held up amazingly well. They get five stars just for durability alone. I'm also thouroughly impressed with the variety of the toys. The worms slither. The feathers glide through the air. The fuzzy thing isn't that much different than the worms, but when my cats catch it, they like to pin it down and lick it for some reason (?) which I guess is good. On top of that, the older cat likes something that will hold still so he can ambush and pounce on it, while the younger cat likes something fast she can chase. This toy meets both their needs and then some. It's hard to believe that something as stupid and simple as a worm on a string could be so versatile, but it is. Overall, it's worth every penny. I actually already bought a second one earlier this month when I got my second cat, just in case my older cat didn't want to share (which he doesn't, but they're learning to take turns and work together on hunting the worms). It's been at least a few months and the toys have held up great, which is impeccable considering my older cat likes to chew through any string he gets his paws on. I'm sure they will eventually break, at which time I will not hesitate to re-order this again. 100/10 will recommend to anyone willing to listen to me brag about a feather on a stick.
