Handy little tool!

A handy little tool for minor trimming and shaping. I use it primarily for shaping the topiary plants we have in our yard. Don't expect this to replace traditional gas or electric trimmers for major trimming. Update: After using this for a few more weeks I have noticed that the battery does not hold charge for more than a few minutes. Unfortunately it maybe too late for me to return these items. I would not recommend buying this.

Does a great job on small tasks, super light, great for detailed trimming. Battery last a long time on one charge.

WOW! Very surprised!

My weed wacker conked out. Saw this on a daily special. Read the reviews and was hesitant, but this is on awesome tool! When I opened it it, went to the yard to try it out, did the entire yard with out even charging it!! Now, dont expect it to cut anything big. When trimming around mulch, it you hit a piece of wood it will definitely stop it cold! But for grass along edges or hard to get areas, it is awesome. I have about 24 small hedges. They are round and about 12 inches high and 12 inches round. Normally i hav to use my full sized hedger and it is a royal pain in the butt! I put on the hedge adaptor and sculpted them all in about 20 minutes! Love this thing!

This cordless shear is a wonderful tool for any gardener

This cordless shear is a wonderful tool for any gardener. It is great for trimming around plants and shrubs as well as for edging along the sides of raised garden beds. The unit holds a charge for an extended period of time and recharges quickly. My only disappointment is that the manufacturer no longer offers the extension handle as a part of the purchase of the unit. This extension handle eliminates a great deal of bending and is certainly worth the additional purchase. A slight addition to the cost of the shears to include the extension handle would be a lot more palatable. Still a great tool and a good value for the money.

Sweet tool!

Great Little tool. My wife loves it and so do I. We have areas where a line trimmer won't go and have always cut these by hand. We use the hedge trimmer for touch up after using out big hedge trimmer and for some shrubs it is all we use. After having a couple of trimmers powered by NI-CAD batteries the Li-ion battery is well worth the few extra bucks. I will never buy any tool again that has a NI-CAD battery!

Great little trimmer

Was using a manual edger, however, I have a bad back and could no longer use it. Have a string edger, but could never get the handle of using it and it created such a large trench, I did not like the look. I was looking for something that I could use to trim the grass around our cement border and when I discovered this could also be used to edge, I decided to give it a try. Does a wonderful job and since I can sit or kneel while using it, there is very little strain on my back. As some other reviewers have said, it works the best if the grass is dry, however, I did use it through some wet areas and as long as I went slower, it made it through just fine. Have not used the hedge trimmer attachment yet, so can't comment on it. Since I have only used it twice, I am hopeful it will stand up under extended use.

Great Tools. Make My LIfe Easier!!!!

This is my second set. I had been using my old set for a couple of years on almost a daily basis in my garden. It was becoming rusted out and had been abused and gotten wet. I knew as soon as my old set stopped working I needed a new set. I think the new set works more smoothly than my old set and came with lubricating oil on the blades which I don't recall having on the prior sets blades. I use these to keep my hedges trimmed since I cannot handle a large hedger. I can get rid of stickers coming up in my garden bed. Trim my rose bushes. It has 2 blades but I prefer the longer blade of the two. It is easy to charge and holds a charge for quite a while. Never had a problem with the battery charge running out before I was done and have used these tools for a couple of hours on occasion. I am extremely particular about my garden and these tools work great for me to achieve the perfection looking for.

Good value, good price.

I've only used it a few times but this clipper really works well for light bush trimming when you need more control and a closer bush clipping. It's lightweight and easy to use, both blade options easily attach, and seems higher quality that similarly priced B+D product available in stores locally.

Perfect tool for a small lot with medium sized plants that need an occasional trimming.

improvement on safety switch .

It works well and is an improvement on one I bought some years ago. The older one had a button which had to be held down while using it, For a woman with small hands this was almost impossible.. The new one has a safety switch to press before using, and that's a big improvement.
