UPDATED REVIEW - Great Customer Service
UPDATE 7/30/18: After emailing back and forth and sharing a video of what this projector was doing, the company was kind enough to send me a brand new one, free of charge, and I didn't have to send back the old one. While it took a little bit of time between the emails (I'm assuming a time difference?), once they realized I had a problem and had tried to fix it on my own, they worked with me to get the problem solved and keep a customer happy. It's hard anymore to find even decent customer service, so I appreciate everything they did. ****************************************************** Bought this back in December 2017, and it was awesome for a bit. We use it fairly regularly (at least every other, if not every, night for 2 hours or so), and have it projecting onto our funky-angled bedroom walls. It's the perfect brightness and was easy to hookup to everything, and I don't find the fan too loud. The picture does blur a little bit if the wall is too far away, even after adjusting the lenses. We now have a grouping of white lines along the right side of the picture projected. We've tried a different computer and DVD player, but it did not get rid of those lines. I bought the Asurion protection plan when I got this, and haven't heard a word from them yet, but I'm hoping the lines either fade or we figure out how to make them go away. This is good for a cheaper projector, but definitely go with a different one if you want something that lasts longer.

Easy to set up and works well!
My family, believe it or not, still has an old-style box-type TV. We've not upgraded to a flat screen since we don't watch TV much. However, watching a movie on our old TV that's only 24" across diagonally isn't ideal. Enter this inexpensive projector! Within about 5 minutes of unboxing, my 17 year old son had the projector up and running. We were easily able to project from my Chromebook using an HTMI cable we already had around the house. We had the projector set up so the height of the viewing area was about 4' high. As long as we were broadcasting from a high quality video, the picture quality was very clear. Oh, another bonus is that the projector has a nice loud speaker and we were all very easily able to hear the sound. My whole family is excited about being able to watch movies together on a big screen now!

Great Customer Service
I got this projector as a backup portable projector for the kid's gaming. I already had a high lumen Blueray 3D capable projector in my living room permanently mounted projecting on a 10x12 foot screen. This is great for the family, the only problem is when the kids got company and wanted to play 2 or 3 player games they wanted to use to the big living room projector. This created conflicts with other family members wanting to use it for movies. P/S: Lastly, Tenken's customer service is in my top ten of all time and I'm pretty picky... This Tenker solved this issue and the kids love it. They take it in their room, or in the basement where they have privacy and other stuff to use. The Tenker can't handle brightly lit rooms too well and although the sound quality is actually better than my other projector, I use a stereo system anyway so it doesn't affect me. But my kids or ok with it. Their gaming is good, bright ( in darker rooms or with curtains drawn ) and good contrast. They're tickled to death it's "their" projector and the gaming response is good to excellent. Anyway, they are happy and eliminates a family conflict that was always occurring on the "big living room" projector. In fact, once in a while if my wife and I want to watch the same movie on say a school night, I sneak it out of their room and use it on the MB ceiling... Lots better than using a laptop or smaller digital led tv.

Great indoor projector. works great in dark room.
This TANKER projector with 800x480 native resolution came in perfect condition, without any kind of damage to the box or the projector itself, it came perfectly accommodated in its package, as can be seen in the pictures attached. Now, about the projector itself. It packs a lot more in this little package then expected, the picture size is just gigantic, and the image quality is really good too. It packs a lot more than what was expected for the price. Good thing about this mini projector: 1. What's great about this projector is that the image is bright, clear, and sharp. 2. Adjustments for key stoning (making the image square even though the projector is at an angle) are simple and effective. This means you don't have to be "dead on" when placing the projector. 3. Projector is small, very portable, light weight, and built quality is great. You can carry in your laptop bag. 4. Fans of projector are not noisy. 5. Lens is protected by a lens cover. 6. The included remote is clearly labeled and easy to use. 7. Works great with Roku stick. 8. Sound from in built sound system is very clear and bass is also apparent. Bad thing: So far nothing given the cost! Premium & Very nice projector at this price All in all, this is a very good projector, offered at an inexpensive price with 3 years of warranty! Please see attached pictures for the accessories you will receive and video quality.

Great projector for a great price
This is a great little projector that gets the job done with no frills. I tested it with a VGA connection to my computer to. The resolution would be much better if i connected it to a HDMI port or AV cables (AV cables were included), but it was still an adequate test. Here are the positives and negatives I found: Positives: Incredibly small and light Easy to use Good picture with easy controls on the projector or on remote for fine tuning. Picture was tested with ambient light around and images was still pretty visible. Completely dark room will just add to the clarity of the picture even more-so. Shipment came in sturdy simple box, tightly fit, everything in it's own little compartment, very secure. Instructions are clear and in full complete sentences. Refreshing to say the least. Not too loud of a unit while running, basic fan noise you would hear on any projector and this one probably less than the norm (although running it for a longer period of time may create more cooling noise, not sure). Versatile inputs (HDMI, VGA, AV, USB, SD card) Buttons and ports on unit seem sturdy and engineered well. Extremely mobile unit. Very easy to just carry around in a bag. Customer support seems very good. Timely replies via email and very friendly. Negatives (none of which seem serious cons) The dials for focusing and keystone seem cheap a bit. They work but it doesn't feel high quality. Vertical adjustment seems a little cheap too, but also does the job. The lens cap elastic cord is wrapped around the shaft of the Vertical knob so when you turn the knob the cord can get tangled a bit. Not a big deal...but I just disconnected the elastic cord from the knob screw and it was better. Like the creator says, not great for seeing fine-tune word details such as using in a board room meeting to display documents and such. Good for movies, picts, videos, graphs, etc. though. All-in-all, for the price, it's good and the pros out way the cons. On top of this, the seller offers a 3 year warranty, has kind/friendly/prompt support, and offers a hassle free return policy, really helping to make this a 5 star product. I would be interested in other products Tenker puts out now.

Fantastic for outdoor movie night with the kids!
This is a very capable entry-level projector, perfect for backyard movies with your kids and family members without breaking the bank. Many other projectors on the market are much more expensive, and most likely will beat the overall performance of this projector, but they will not beat the cost/benefit ratio this unit provides. For less than $100, you receive a projector with many inputs (HDMI, USB, SD, and AV). First impressions of this projector is that it is much smaller than anticipated. It has a really small footprint, and is only about 2 pounds. You don't need to worry about it taking up much room in a closet when not in use. I noticed that the picture quality of this projector is slightly more clear than a few others in the same class that I have tested. All of the models in this range exhibit at least some issue with focus uniformity across the entire picture, but of the models I've tested I had the best experience with this one in this regard. When you get the focus dialed in on the center of the picture, as you look out toward the edges of the picture, it gets a little more fuzzy and out of focus. If you dial the focus in along the edges, then the center of the picture is softer and a little more fuzzy. For watching movies, this is not noticeable at all. This projector is not recommended for use in a conference room for presentations involving text, you will not be pleased with its performance, the 800x480 resolution is simply too low for this application. For my most recent outdoor movie night, we used this projector on a 110" screen, to watch The Force Awakens, and it looked fantastic. Everyone was very pleased with the picture quality, and I had several of my friends asking me where I got the projector. They were shocked when I told them how much it cost. The 1500 lux output of the projector is nice in a very dimly lit/dark room, or outdoors once the sun has gone down. This is not bright enough to use with the lights on, or outside during the day. I was looking for a projector that I could use outdoors on a spring/summer night to watch movies with my family, so this is perfect for me. There are many settings in the menus including a sound EQ, adjustments to color temperature, white balance, etc...but I found the out-of-box settings to be adequate, and reasonably calibrated already. Nothing worse than taking something like this out of the box and needing to endlessly adjust it until you feel comfortable using it. Having a 5v USB power output port is fantastic because it makes it dead simple to use a FireTV Stick with this projector, as it can power the Fire Stick without needing an extra 110v AC plug for your video streaming device. The HDMI port did work with several other input devices I used with it, all set to 1080p output with no issues. The OS also includes built-in audio and video playback controls for playing movies directly from USB or SD card, and they are intuitive and easy to use. Compatibility is pretty high as well, it played a wide variety of files, I had the best, most consistent luck with mp4 for video. The built-in speaker is pretty weak, but they do include a 3.5mm Aux (Headphone style connector) output. I was able to connect an external speaker to the projector with a long cord and it made it feel like we were at the movies. Make sure you get some sort of external speaker and you'll be fine. With the external speaker at the front underneath the screen, and the projector at the rear, the sound coming from both the speaker and projector actually made it have a simulated surround sound, which was unexpected and nice. The projector doesn't have any built-in mounting options, so you'll need some platform to place it on, or some way to suspend it from the ceiling. I used a tri-pod with a flat surface on top, and it worked well, I was able to position the projector at the correct height so that the keystone adjustment on the projector was not needed. The projector also comes with a remote control that can be used from behind (IR sensor is on the rear of the projector) to control all aspects of the device. pretty nice touch. The projector does have a fan that can be a bit distracting in an indoor setting, but was barely perceptible when used outdoors. The projector does give off a bit of heat, but not nearly as much as older non-LED projectors did. Again, this would probably be more noticeable in an indoor setting, but not an issue at all outdoors. My overall impression of the projector is that it's worth the cost, and is perfect for family gatherings. Sure, curling up on the couch with your kids is easy to do these days with our huge HDTV's and home theater audio systems, but there's something to be said about the bonding experience of spending time outdoors with your kids and family. It feels more intimate, and leaves a more lasting impression I think. Whether you are watching a movie in your backyard, front yard, or if you take it camping with you, you'll have a great time.

Great projector for the price
The n5 Mini projector is a great way to display my games, movies or displaying a larger computer screen on a wall. When carrying a tv wherever you go is out of the question this is a perfect lightweight option. It has many input media options. I bought this as a way to have a movie night on the wall at our lake house when friends and family come over. I was originally skeptical of how the display would look but after running a movie using a chromecast on I was very impressed. For the price the resolution was excellent. I wish it had a mounting option for permanently mounting on a ceiling but it is meant for portability. It is very easy to set up and run. Having the small remote works good as well. I think for the price you could not go wrong.

Small but excellent quality projector
I highly recommend this projector. I ordered this projector and tested it for a while to ensure it is up to the mark. There are pictures attached of the output, so you can judge the overall picture quality - which is excellent. I used HDMI output from my device to play directly to the projector. I was pleasantly surprised with what this little projector offered. Here is what I found after testing for a few days: Positive things: 1. This is a brilliant little projector with excellent picture quality. So if you are looking for a quality projector, your search ends here. It offers everything the company promises and more. 2. Its small but very powerful. This means you could easily move it around the house, depending on your needs. 3. Multiple connectivity options available; HDMI, VGA, USB, AV connections. 4. You get a remote and an AV cable with the projector Why you may need one: Projectors could be an interesting addition to any home or office. There could be many requirements to get one. If you have kids at home, this could be a good option for kids playing together. For me, this will serve as an extra viewing screen at home which could be used to see a movie with friends or have kids watch cartoons etc. Its rare that you get a good equipment at the right price. This projector is exactly that. Its a projector which offers great quality picture at the price which wouldn't break the bank. If you are in the market for one, I highly recommend this little gem.

Match expectations to price
If you remember how inexpensive this projector is- it is impressive. It is simple to use, has a decent picture (in low light), and the audio with the surround sound option turned on is plenty loud for casual use. I have better and more expensive projectors for more demanding tasks. I got this one for some basic projection mapping of Christmas lights. I didn't want a $ 500 projector on a pole in my front yard, so I got this one. It fits the bill for the task at hand, but I was rather impressed when playing with it for basic movie watching, etc. If you are on a budget and want an inexpensive projector for large scale gaming or movies that is really pretty good, this is a good unit. If you compare it to a projector that cost 5 or 10 times as much, it won't be as good as those are. But it is better than anyone should expect for the price.

10 stars!!!
If I could give this projector 10 stars I would!! I bought a mini projector a while ago that was okay but super pixelated and hard to read words that were projected. This projector is the polar opposite. I am so glad we upgraded. The picture is crystal clear and bright. You can adjust the lens in two ways for extra clarity. There is an adjustable tilt as well which helps a lot. The only down side is the speaker. It is good, but could be a little better. You can hook up your own speakers though so no problem there!
