I love it!! Not only the chain lock itself but the added “button” feature. My kid can slide the chain all he wants but he doesn’t understand the button feature. Keeps him indoors.

Update: Recently, I figured out someone was robbing me. It took me a long time to figure out how she had done it., After all, she hadn't stolen my keys - i only have one set. By golly, she had stolen ALL of the keys from this particular landlord. And every time he rotated the locks, she just dipped into her library and broke into the new tenants place. She left the locks UNLOCKED to make it look like it was your flaky memory and stole small hard to miss items. Why not? Entire apartment complexes were open to her. But this was the hardware that stopped her. Because she couldn't get her fingers inside to open it. And because she has no other skill with opening locks. Oh. By the way. She is a real genius this one. She got high on her favorite recreational substance and she told me what she was up to. Every door should have one of these. She still hasn't figured out how I figured it all out. Because I blast everything I figure out on Amazon where I hope it will do someone some good. I don't repeat stuff like this in my victim's face. End update. With my flaky memory, I frequently forget to lock my doors. This is a great visual reminder that one of my locks isn't closed. It reminds me to lock all of the locks . I certainly don't expect this one piece of hardware to hold my doors shut. but it does make me feel better if I find out forgotten to lock the deadbolt. Install the hardware so it cannot be opened from the outside.

Very nice looking. It feels very sturdy. I like that it has the extra security feature. Having a doggy door, I felt this was a big need.

Good product

Very nice and sturdy. Installed easily with screws and drill. Looks like steel (did not bother much on this as it will be indoors). Have to see how it works after so many usages.. Will update the review after some frequent usage.
