Very sharp!

It's so nice to have a very sharp pair of scissors for my kitchen. All my others had gotten old and dull and needed to be replaced. Plus the vendor was offering buy two and get the second pair at half off. Can't beat the price! My only complaint is they don't take apart for ease of cleaning.

Great Pair of Scissors

I've been using Ikea scissors for a few years now and the handle recently broke. I had a chance to try these out and I got two pairs, one for the kitchen and the other to be all purpose. They were delivered quickly and I liked that they come with a little sleeve to protect the blades - perfect if you need to keep them in a drawer or want to bring them with you to a picnic. I tried them out cutting flowers, veggies, and pretty much everything in my kitchen. I also tried them out opening packages, cutting tags, and other around the house tasks. They work better than my Ikea ones ever did and honestly a lot better than the fancy pair that came with my fancy knife set.

Best kitchen shears ever!

These shears stay sharp and are heavy enough for tough jobs! I use mine several times a day. I liked them so much I bought 2 pr of them for my church`s kitchen. One of the members liked them and had me order her 2 pairs. They are awesome!

Cuts everything.

I really like the weight and size of these scissors. They easily cut through everything I've tried (vegetables, bacon, chicken tendons, etc.). Loved the fact that they are dishwasher safe, particularly since using these for different food stuffs. Have not had long test for durability.

Glad to have sturdy and sharp kitchen scissors again!

I got the discounted 2 pairs of scissors. Off the bat what I like about having 2 pair is now if 1 pair got used to, say cut up a chicken, I have another pair available for raw vegetables without having to wash the 1st pair immediately or worrying about cross contamination. These replaced a really old pair of scissors that I really liked but I could not get sharp anymore (yes, I ran them thru the dishwasher and I've now seen others who say that can dull the scissors, which makes sense from abrasive detergents). I'm left handed, so always look either for dedicated left hand or ambidextrous type scissors. These fall into the latter category. The one thing that is taking a bit of getting used to (and why I marked "Ease of use" at a 4) is that the handles are ever so much smaller than the pair they are replacing. That's just a muscle memory thing and eventually, I'm sure they will feel totally normal. The handles seem solid to me and I think will stand up to much use - I know some people asked about that. If you're looking for scissors that come apart for washing, these do not. I prefer not having that feature only because I've worked with that type before and found them to be too loose in practicality.

So far so good!

I like these so far! I've only had them a couple of weeks so I can't attest to the long-term quality. They are lightweight compared to my prior kitchen shears from Chefmate. The only concern is the white plastic around the handles - I worry that these will look dirty & discolored over time. It hasn't happened yet, but again, I've only had them a couple of weeks. Hopefully if that does become an issue, a Magic Eraser will make them shine like new again.

Well made product

I had my last pair for over ten years. They stopped cutting. I cannot comment on the longevity of these scissors yet as just received. I can say they are very sturdy, sharp and not heavy or cumbersome. I have hand dexterity issues, so it is important to me to have a product that handles easily. I look forward to using them on a daily basis. Scissors are extremely important to my kitchen.

Fantastic, Sharp and Handy Shears

I received these shears in the mail and also gave one to my son who loves to cook. I have so far used them to cut pizza and to open several packages and my husband used them to cut up some chicken. They were extremely easy to use and are VERY sharp which is a bonus. I love the features with the case cover so you don't cut yourself and also the cracker addition which I believe is either for nuts or shell fish. That makes these quite handy for multiple uses. These kitchen shears are sleek and have a great feel in your hand. They are a nice weight and a perfect size for all sorts of uses. I love mine and know they are going to come in handy in my kitchen. I also love that they can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning, however I will probably hand wash mine to keep them safe. Plus the fact that they are rustproof makes them such a good addition to my kitchen. I will write again with more when I have gotten a chance to use them more. literally are the BEST kitchen scissors out there!

These meet all expectations and then some! I use kitchen sheers daily to cut absolutely everything! It take so much longer to "saw" through food with a knife. I have a two year old too and I can cut up all of her food in a fraction of the time! These are also the best to chop salads! Other take-apart sheers have fallen apart on me mid-cut but these stay together and are super sturdy. I would recommend these to everyone! We love them! :)
